This is a great place to get your bbq on. I got the $57.00 entree for 3-4 people. It came with shredded pork, brisket, 1/2 chicken and a full slab of ribs. Everything was delicious. Oh it also came with 4 sides as well. The beans and Cole slaw were really good and so was the jalapeno cornbread. I would go back again in a heartbeat. The microbrews are only $5.00 too. The service was top notch too. I really liked the outdoor patio and the huge fire they had out there. Really cool place to go just to have some appetizers on the patio and a cold one.

First time to Baldy's. Seating is like a picnic with high top and low picnic style seating. We had a party of 11 family and service was good. They were out of the catfish, so I ordered the ribs and chicken combo with coleslaw and jalapeno cornbread plus a side of chili, that we shared. I tried their spicy margarita, sadly even with added jalapeños, it was not spicy. The flavor was tangy and a little sweet. I liked it regardless of it not being spicy. The chili was a bit spicy, smokey flavored and hearty with beans, peppers and meat, accompanied by onions, sour cream, cheese and cornbread. I would order this again. The ribs were cooked perfectly, the meat just fell off the bone. Smothered in bbq sauce that was tangy and delicious. I added some spicy bbq sauce from the table to jazz it up a bit. The chicken was disappointing. The breast meat was tough and rubbery, I couldn't even chew it. The leg and thigh meat was cooked well. I think the breast side needed to be cooked awhile longer to get more tender and juicy as they advertise. The coleslaw was crunchy with a nice dressing, not too sweet or runny. The jalapeno cheesy cornbread had no jalapenos in it that I could find. Although the bread itself was good, again I was disappointed that there were no jalapeños to be found. The pulled pork was a little dry yet flavorful. The brisket was also a little dry but with good flavor. I liked most of the meal and would recommend others to give it a try, I personally would not go back. I will seek out some other bbq places to try.

Unfortunate Experience @ Baldy's BBQ in Redmond, OR. 1st Problem: The Prime Rib was just horrible. No way around it, tough and chewy, and we politely asked for something else. We were satisfied and happy that Conner, our host/bartender/server was gracious throughout our time here. He took the prime rib off the bill (rightfully so) and checked in on us thoroughly. 2nd Problem: As a replacement for the horrible Prime Rib, we asked for the Brisket Burnt Ends. What a mistake! It was covered in a questionable teriyaki glaze and sesame seeds, of all things... (not BBQ sauce like the menu states) we could have just gone to a Thai restaurant if we were looking for a decent Asian inspired flavor on more tender meat. The smothered fries for an appetizer were good. The pulled pork sandwich was just okay and the side salad was basic, but did have a tasty balsamic dressing to elevate it. The coleslaw and cornbread were pretty good, but the beans were not. The bar area was decent, except for the Problem 3: blaring music which made it hard to have a decent conversation, but good if you aren't? Also, the bathroom Problem 4: doesn't have any paper towels, only a 'hand dryer', which is gross. So yeah, one of us had an okay meal, the other was.... Biggest Problem: up all night in the bathroom... because of the Prime Rib and Brisket Burnt Ends. You've been warned. We won't be returning.

Brisket, garlic mashers, & honey jalapeño cornbread. Pork ribs were brought a little later.

Food 3.5* Service 4* Ambiance 2* Meat was well smoked, then covered in mediocre bbq sauce. I understand the Kansas City tradition (though I prefer Texas), but BBQ sauce should be more interesting than spicy ketchup. Garlic mashers were quite good, but cornbread would have been better without jalapeños. Also, they serve the butter frozen solid so it never really thaws during the meal. Butter should be kept at room temperature! Service was friendly and quickly corrected an error before I had even mentioned it. Decor is typical for a BBQ restaurant and there are tvs with a good variety of sports on, but the inane country music destroys any semblance of pleasantness. I don't live country music in general, but what they had playing is just bad pop music with a southern twang - the worst of all possible musical worlds. Overall, not my scene but I'm sure it fits many people's expectations, so YMMV.

I had a great experience at Baldy's with an impressive building, delicious food, quick service, and a super kind and caring staff! Don't miss the prime rib, brisket, burnt ends, Hazy IPA, or corn pudding! Jazzy and Leah most definitely made my experience memorable! Yes I ate here Saturday and Sunday post/pre festival and took some home for later both times!

Just not the best bbq. They are always busy, and lots of side options, but I cease to be ever really impressed.

It's ok. I'm used to southern bbq pulled pork and ribs, which this isn't. Something is lacking and I just can't figure out what it is.

We went during happy hour and got the fresh oysters, the pork belly, the albacore tataki, pork belly sliders, the Cuban, and the burger. We walked in to find a mostly empty restaurant (2 other tables seated). The atmosphere felt more like it was suited for a nice dinner date than a casual lunch but whatever - they're open for lunch. When I asked a friend about it later, he said he and his wife go there for dinner but had never been at lunch time. My buddy ordered the Grinder (essentially an Italian) and I ordered the Beef Sando (essentially their take on a French Dip). My buddy, who self-admittedly doesn't like focaccia, said the bread was awesome and sando in general really good. We both really enjoyed the fries, that were well seasoned in a savory and slightly sweet dusting. The abundance of fries was well appreciated as well. The beef sando was tasty and also a good portion. My only complaint was the thinly shaved beef was laid flat in layers instead of mounded on the sandwich (see pic). I hesitate to even say this, but it felt like I was eating Steak-umm. In general, the meal was good and filling. The service was good and value for price felt good.

The staff are very sweet and mellow, which is nice in the morning. George 3-way. I have been away from Oregon Craft for about a year so I am a little off my game but I didn't leave a drop in those pint glasses. We both ordered the smash burger and fries with some jalapeño aioli sauce. The fries were maybe the best fries I've ever had. I literally put my head down and chowed through them all before realizing I had a burger too. Smash burger is true to form dressed with melted cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. When they brought out the "half order", the singular biscuit was HUGE. And the bowl of gravy was generous. The biscuit was like a giant version of my Southern born grandmother's biscuits, and the gravy was very traditional and tasty. I looked around at my fellow diners' plates, and the portions all seemed incredible, especially for the prices I saw on the menu.
