Overdue post: Came here on a Saturday night at around 8pm…read moreback in April for drinks after dinner with a friend. The bar had a table in the front two corner with around 5 chairs per table and a table for maybe 2-3 people in front of the dj/karaoke setup. It happened to be karaoke night. Also, noone was sitting at the bar area at the time. There's also just one bathroom in the back of the bar. Since we just had dinner, we only ordered drinks. As always, we ordered 2 long islands. The drinks were lite at first, so it didn't feel as if there's much alcohol in them, but it hits later. Overall not a bad drink for the cost. I believe it was $12 per drink. Of course one drink isn't enough so we decided to get another drink similar to a long island but has blue curacao. We showed the server/bartender a picture of it and they said they could make it. We've never had the drink before so I can't compare it to other places. The drink was pretty good, but we still prefer the long islands more. Not that the drink didn't have enough alcohol though. Moving onto the vibes of the bar... it's very different from city vibes. It may be that my friend and I were the youngest ones there and everyone else were much older. Kudos to the singers though, they had such good lungs to assist with their singing. They were very much in tune and on beat. Would I come here again? Yes. But maybe not on karaoke night, since it was really difficult to hear my friend speak and have a conversation without asking him to repeat himself.

My dining partner and I decided to try uncutt prior to grabbing a later dinner in the area…read more We were pleasantly surprised to find out we were there during Happy hour, which at the time of this pasting was $5 beers, $6 select wines, and $9 select cocktails, which was a great deal! We ended up grabbing a few glasses of wine, which hit the spot, and also their combo app platter to give us some substance to soak up the drinks. Overall, a great value! Very cozy and had some eclectic decor. Service was quick and friendly too. Would stop by again!

Most of the bars around here are either Mexican spots with a bar or loud sports bars, so this place felt like a nice change. They've got little sofas along the wall, and the whole vibe feels more like a living room than a bar. Happy hour was solid, and the locals/regulars I met swore this place has the best burger in the hood. A couple even said they come here for food when they're too lazy to cook. Everyone was super friendly and easy to chat with, which gave it that cozy neighborhood bar feel. Megan, the bartender, definitely wasn't shy with the pours. The Brooklyn Cosmo was huge as well if you like feeling like you got your bang for your buck. For sure a spot I'd come back to.

I thought it was a small version of the Brooklyn mirage. There are two food trucks. One is outside…read moreof the event and another is inside the event. The best way to describe this place is like a giant warehouse with two large openings equivalent to probably to the size of a regular house wall. I was here end of December. Bring a jacket, gloves, the whole nine yards...it is cold. There is one very small space where the Djs play. I think the mirage is better in terms of space for the audience, a lot of more screens for visual effects, the dj space is better too. Mirage has two floors. Mirage also has better food. I think hands down, mirage is better. Come to the Brooklyn hangar only if you want to see a dj that isn't playing at the mirage.. I forgot to mention - I had standing VIP - that just means you have a space in front of everyone else that is closest to the dj. I think it wasn't worth it. If you do get VIP , get the VIP seating...not standing. With VIP seating you can actually sit with the DJs, which I thought was cool.

They sell extremely marked drinks near the entrance when you first get in (all the way in back). Unfortunately the bathrooms were all porta potties outside at the entrance and there was no lighting inside them.

On par with some of the better clubs I've been -its massive. -place was packed when we entered around 12:30 and left around 5ish. Lines weren't terrible (at entry, bar), except for coat check line (see below) -pretty cool crowd Cons: -portaloos... gross -parking: terrible. There is no paid parking lots, so you need to look for street parking which is virtually non existent. Took us about 20min -related to the above, this place is in the middle of nowhere. Forget about grabbing food or anything close by before/ after -coat check line was horrendous. I ended up either carrying it around, or leaving it on a rail (which fortunately was allowed) -did I say portaloos?

I have a good connections here that I get an artist band(s) for every event…read more The drinks aren't cheap for sure... but it's a concert venue, they absolutely never are. They're standard prices, the bartenders have heavy hands which isn't a bad thing. The location is iffy but there it's in a hot, up-and-coming area. The DJs are always the best in NYC: Guetta, Tiesto, Deadmau5, Prydz, Disclosure, Aoki... yeah, Marquee is the only place that comes close and that place stinks. The setup here is great, the warehouse is massive and you don't feel crowded with 4-5k other people there. The sound system is crazy and the lighting is mesmerizing. Apparently the lines are rough, but I never had to deal with it. The parking situation is the toughest part here... come early or park on 3rd avenue. There's unbelievable food in Red Hook and Bay Ridge if you need a place to look.
