We loved the Grumpy Cat, cozy clean bar surrounded by great people. What else could you ask for this winter? Jorge and Kris really know how to take care of a bar!

Stopped in for a drink after diner at Gino's. Small bar, strong drinks, 5 TVs for all the games, great staff!

Came in as a party of two on a rainy Sunday for their brunch menu and was quickly seated and served. Waiters/waitresses were very attentive and quick to give us menus, waters, take our orders, and clear our empty plates when we finished the app/food. Definitely has a pub/sports bar vibe with bar seating and multiple screens broadcasting pretty much all the sunday NFL games. But they also had ample seating for larger parties and families and it definitely seems like a place that locals visit often. The food was great, though we wouldve liked to try the chicken empanadas if we noticed it on the menu early. Oh wells, maybe next time!

When I brought it to the waitresses attention she said it comes with either bacon or sausage and I was like, okay you didn't ask so I wasn't aware. To which she responded that it was on the menu and proceeded to bring over the menu for me to read as if I couldn't understand her. I was really tired that morning so I guess that parts on me for just reading what I want and ordering it, but as someone who's work in the service industry you also clarify what the customer would like. I never said I wanted ONLY eggs. Just the way she handled it was really rude when I didn't even make a fuss I was just confused why there was nothing in my burrito weird energy here if you're not a white townie. Glad my father got to enjoy his corned beef hash though. Only positive in this experience.

My friends and I and I were having a chill night out so we ordered Angry Orchards, which were only $6 for a large glass! We got the option of having it with/without ice. My friends and I also ordered a few cocktails during the night, which all equated to ~$7 per cocktail. There are darts in the back area, which you can play for free. The main reason why I love this bar are the staff. The bartenders are so friendly and familial; once you chat with them, it feels like you've known them for years! Our waitress was also very attentive, checking in with us frequently and offering water whenever it seemed like our glasses were empty. And when she gave us a complimentary mini-pizza... like WHAT? How can you not love this woman?! Thanks to her and the staff, we had a wonderful time! Indigo Murphy's is definitely a place to go if you're looking for a place to hangout/chat. I will be back for sure. Thanks for creating such a friendly atmosphere!

It's a perfect place for a thoughtful cocktail without the crowds. My wife and I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon while our son was celebrating a birthday with his friends at the Brooklyn Battle Blaster Nerf Arena nearby. We had the place entirely to ourselves when we arrived, and that hour of peace and quiet with a great drink felt just luxurious. Bitter Monk comes from the same team behind Sugar Monk, the amazing cocktail bar in uptown Manhattan. It's an intimate bar that doubles as the tasting room for Atheras Spirits, their micro-distillery. The menu is built around house-made amari, herbal liqueurs, and bitters, with herbs, roots, flowers, and wild plants (many of them foraged) worked into the drinks. Added bonus: Everything they pour comes from New York State. The space itself is gorgeous. Colorful stained glass glows behind the bar, framed by a metal piece that reproduces the Atheras Spirits logo. The ambiance is elegant but relaxed, cozy with a loungey vibe; the kind of place where you can settle in without feeling like you need to dress up. I had the Devil and the Blue Sea (Svol aquavit, Atheras Akhenaten amaro, tamarind, yuzu, lime, patchouli, and baharat). It was complex and layered without being muddled. My wife had the Gaia Martini (Atheras Botanical Monks Gin East, Method dry vermouth, Svol aquavit, and Atheras mastiha liqueur), a beautifully herbal take on a classic. Both were excellent. A friend who doesn't drink joined us later, and he had real options. He ordered the Butterfly Field, a zero-proof cocktail with Lyre's London Spirit, yuzu, lime, lavender, butterfly pea, orange blossom, juniper, pepperberry, and egg white. It got the same care as the regular cocktails, not a token mocktail. Side note: They don't take reservations; it's first come, first served. Happy hour runs Thursday through Sunday until 4 pm, with a choice of four cocktails for $13-14.
