I took a visiting friend to Bakeri for coffee in the morning and it did not disappoint. I ordered an iced latte which was good and prices were comparable to other cafes in the area. They had a delicious-looking baked goods selection. My only (not so positive) note is that it was HOT inside. It seems as though they do not have AC or have very limited AC. There are also not a ton of places to sit so whether or not you will get a seat is a gamble.
I'm always in search for a yummy pastry and recently stopped by this Bakeri in Williamsburg and picked up a Fig and Walnut Danish. The danish is delicious with a flaky, laminated base, walnut frangipane, fig jam and fresh fig slices. Loved this combination and the walnut frangipane made it super decadent with a good level of sweetness to accompany the fig. This location has a cute backyard patio as well which is great for catching up with friends or enjoying their lunch items. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
This place is SO ADORABLE i love it. And the food and coffee was fresh and just amazing. I ate everything under 5 minutes it was so delicious
Bakery is a very cute and small bakery (there's only a few seating spots located inside so it's best to take your goodies to go) Tbh, I forgot the name of this particular pastry but it was yummy and filled with blueberries! Very soft and tasty. The staff was efficient and friendly. It's great to stop by if you're enjoying a nice walk around Williamsburg.
Bakeri is such a cute bakery! We tried their rosemary hazelnut chocolate chip cookie and it was delicious! We loved their different take on a classic cookie. The staff was very friendly. We took this one to go however there were some seats available inside. Would return!
This small coffee shop with whimsical vintage decor is a good spot for a quick breakfast. There's a few seats inside and a garden out back. It's counter service, the coffee is pretty good, and they have a good selection of delicious homemade cakes and pastries. Prices are average, knocking a star off though as there were a few flies buzzing around inside when we visited.
Stopped by Bakeri in Williamsburg for a hot chocolate. It's a really cute little spot with antique-style decor, small inside with maybe 5-7 seats, plus a few small tables outside. The hot chocolate was fine, but pricier than the coffee and there's an extra $1 charge for non-dairy milk. They had a nice selection of fresh-looking baked goods, though I didn't try any this time. Overall, not sure I would go back, there are plenty of other coffee spots in the neighborhood, and I'm not sure if this one is the best value.
There are cafés that become part of your routine, and then there are those that quietly weave themselves into your moments--and Bakeri has felt like the latter for me. I've found myself stopping by a few times, most recently on a soft Monday evening, mid-run, just as the sun was beginning to set. It was one of those pauses you don't plan for, yet end up appreciating the most. Each visit has been defined by their pastries--thoughtfully made, deeply flavorful, and consistently comforting. While I've tried a number of items over time, what stands out most is how difficult it is to go wrong here. There's a quiet confidence in everything they serve. On my most recent visit, I settled on a flat white alongside a saffron-based pastry filled with cream. Both were exceptional. The coffee was rich and steady, grounding in its warmth, while the pastry carried a delicate balance of sweetness and depth--the saffron present but never overpowering, the cream adding just enough indulgence to make it feel complete. The space itself feels like a small retreat. The interior leans into a cozy, almost cabin-like warmth--wooden textures, soft lighting, and an intimacy that makes you feel instantly at ease. It's the kind of place that invites you in gently, encouraging you to slow down, even if just for a few moments. On my last visit, I was served by Forrest, who was welcoming and kind, adding to the ease of the experience without making it feel overly structured. Bakeri is not the kind of café that demands attention--it earns it quietly, through consistency, warmth, and the simple pleasure of well-made pastries. It's a place I find myself returning to without much thought, knowing that whatever I choose, it will be just right for the moment.
This is a perfect bakery. I've been coming this summer for morning or afternoon pastries, and they are always delicious. More than that though, the people working here are so lovely and kind. My phone died yesterday and I came in and they helped me charge it! They have a garden patio out back and it's just a great place that I'm happy to support
TL;DR: get the sandwich. Will come back only for the sandwich. Bomb sandos! Good pastries. Again, BOMB sandos! Came thinking we'd like the pastries but honestly the sandwich kicked our butts - sneaky addition of mustard to the arugula was unexpectedly perfect Merci, Bakeri!
As you know, Williamsburg has a wealth of coffee shops from Copper Mug Coffee to Oslo to that lesser known, Starbucks Roastery. I bookmarked Bakeri as my post coffee stop after Cafe Magador. Bakeri is located across the street from CM. Entering Bakeri I felt as if I entered a bakery found somewhere in the South: small, intimate, farmhouse tables and Shabby Chic decor. In other words, Fawn's kinda place!!! Their baked goods looked delicious: focaccia bread, chocolate brownies, carrot cake and other delicious offerings. I chose a hot Chai and the Apple Cider flower and found a seat at the farmhouse table. The apple cider Flower was warmly spiced and fruity and so fresh. The Chai was good just a bit too milky for me. As I sat, it was nice to observe the service offered: a customer wanted tomato jam and the cook was going to make it for him. This place of course is a boon for the local Williamsburg residents. I can see why, there's an old fashioned kind of kindness in the service. It was nice to sit awhile and enjoy my treat. Williamsburg is lucky to have Bakeri.. Bakeri is a women owned business and has locations in Greenpoint and Ridgewood. It is now bookmarked into my Yelp collection as it should, yours.
Hands down one of the best ham and cheese croissants I've ever had in my life . I drive all the way from Long Island on weekends to get it . The ham and cheese croissant is definitely my favorite here but I've also tried the pies , quiche, muffins and I've never been disappointed. Next time I'm definitely going to try a plain and chocolate croissant . Yummy and get here before 10 if you want to get the ham and cheese croissants, they sell out super fast !
FOOD - This was the best part of this place, although it was still a bit disappointing. I ordered a vegetable tart and although it was savory, it was served cold. The variety of food options is solid. SERVICE - Service did not meet my expectations. Was not asked if my food could be heated up as I'm usually asked elsewhere. The staff was apathetic and chatting until I flagged them down. AMBIANCE - It's quaint and charming, but very small. I wouldn't plan on eating there unless you can snag an outdoor table or something as it's very cramped. More of a to-go spot. OVERALL - This spot needs work. I didn't enjoy my experience here. The food would've been delicious if heated up. There's hundreds of places like this. Unless they fine-tuned their service, I wouldn't come back.

Skip the line!!! Check this out: this is a wonderful bakery that almost always has a long line. But in the morning, there's almost no one in the garden behind the bakery. Today I was told you could skip the line and go sit in the garden and order your meal from there and have it served to you. GAME CHANGER! I got the biscuit with scrambled eggs with cheese and arugula on the side $10. It was so filling I probably should've stopped there. But I have been dying to try The sourdough rye bread with butter, jam, and Nutella. $6. Absolutely delicious, super soft with crunchy crust. Omg. I ended up eating half of each and I'll save half for later! They were both fresh and delicious and extremely satisfying. Coffee was really good too, though they only have whole milk and no cream just FYI. $3. An easy walk from some local hotels and even if you wait in line , like I did at first, it goes by pretty quick. read more

A cute little bakery at center of north williamsburg. I stopped in for a cappuccino. It had a pretty strong taste and I liked it. Tried the carrot cake and the raspberry bar too. A little bit too sweet for me, but definitely goes will with the coffee! read more
A cute little bakery on the quieter side of Williamsburg. The place is really cozy and best for smaller groups. We tried the hazelnut bar (1 piece for $1.50) and the lemon poppy seed muffin ($3). Both were pretty good! The hazelnut bar has coconut shavings inside which add that extra crunch. I think the muffin had bits of raspberry inside which was a nice surprise. read more

I've got a beautifly packed lunch box. Everything was fresh and delicious. Also I've tried a couple cakes and it's hard to say which one is better. Amazing bakers with beautiful smiles read more
Again, I could not resist stopping at Bakeri for an iced coffee and another one of those rosemary hazelnut chocolate chip with sea salt cookie. I just had to! This time I got to enjoy the cute backyard where they grow herbs. There is a water pond, some potted flowers, a few tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the quietness and the sun. Remember, it's cash only. read more
Cute little spot in Williamsburg. Definitely worth stopping by! The place looks wonderful. I've never seen a coffee shop/bakery like this one before . Very unique and cozy. The pastries were not as tasty and fresh. We did come in the afternoon so the selection wasn't as big as it is in the morning, I'm assuming. We have tried three different kinds of pastries and we didn't finish any of them. They were chewy and dry. Like I said before, the place looks absolutely insane. So many cute pictures, mirrors and flowers. And they have a garden in the back! read more

Don't get me wrong, this is a very cool bakery and place to either go to for pastries or sit down with a latte or some food...but I've been there twice and why did I just never feel welcome? The service was once rude and the other time indifferent. Why? I get along with people, why the attitude? Obviously it's not fair to reduce a decently run place with lots of other good things to focus on to a few unfortunate experiences with some of the staff members....so: The coffee was actually good, served in a big cup which I like! The crumb cake I had (photo) was too dry and didn't taste like much, but other items I took to go were just fine. I haven't tried the outdoor seating - just had a look and that had a nice feel too. And thinking about it, it's a busy place. Especially on weekends which is when I go to Brooklyn, maybe the staff is nicer when it's not so busy. read more

This place is OFF THE CHAIN!! Everything I've tried here as been really good. Its one of my Billyburg go to spots for a sugary snack or a light lunch/brunch. The rhubarb/almond cake, the interestingly not very sweet espresso cookie (beware of the caffeine jolt from this one), the vanilla bean custard brioche type bread with a Scandinavian name... everything was so good that my crew decided to sample some of the savory delights. The grilled gruyere cheese with tomato jam and cool gazpacho hit the spot. They have a sweet little garden in the back and if you can snag the one table out front some great hipster people watching. read more
I've been to both Williamsburg and Greenpoint locations and despite the adorable decor and yummy food the service is always bad. Inconsistent, disorganized, hurried and often abrasive. I wonder if they have an employee requirement of being moody all the time but it's pretty regular. Their baked treats are delicious and unique. The chocolate chip cardamom is a staple and absolutely worth trying. I've also noticed their cupcakes to be super moist but often overly sugary. Also am a fan of the Counter Culture coffee but why don't they serve half and half? Is Counter Culture okay with this? Williamsburg spot is teeny tiny and you're lucky to find a seat, whereas GP is more spread out. I hope your overall experience is better than mine has been! read more

I've found my soulmate and it comes in cookie form. The rosemary hazelnut cookie from Bakeri to be exact. Omg this cookie. I would never have thought the combination of Rosemary, chocolate and hazelnuts in a baked good would be so delicious. It doesn't hurt that these are served warm from the oven. Nothing better. Except maybe their double chocolate, cherry and macadamia cookie...my second soul mate. Me and my friend sat here for a good hour enjoying these cookies with coffee and we loved every second. The bakery itself is also very welcoming and the staff is very nice. This is one of my favorite spots in williamsburg and it should be yours too. They always have creative pastries and breads to try, just make sure you have cash on you or you'll be the saddest human ever when you can't buy a glorious cookie with your credit card. read more

Cute little bakery. Kind of pricey. The chocolate croissant was the size of my finger! I mean really? I also tried the raspberry pistachio muffin and it was good. Nothing special. read more
Bad vibes from entrance to exit, literally -- terribly designed entryways (huge step, no space to move, inevitably being hit by someone in front of/behind you, and the other side of one inelegantly reminding customers not to forget to pay, ruining the charm of the squirrel art next to it) and a too-narrow aisle (plus oblivious folks dining in who deserved the fates of their jackets on the floor). Was almost tempted by the Apple Cider Flower and a variety of other items in the display, but went with the hazelnut rosemary cookie, which was either made incorrectly that day or some BS branding, as it was 60% no mix-ins, 35% peanuts, 4% chocolate, and 1% rosemary and/or hazelnut (indiscernible). BTW about that name -- poor branding choice in the internet age. read more

This quaint little bakery stole my heart! It's a hidden gem a couple blocks off of the Bedford Ave L train stop. Came here twice in a week because I was so eager to try out different bakes. I had the apple cider flower like some Yelpers recommend, it is so beautifully made but I felt it was a bit too hard in texture and couldn't taste much of the apple cider. I had the raspberry pistachio muffin my second visit, which was fantastic. The raspberry flavors were both strongly present and the crunch on the outer ring was on point. Highly recommend this one. Coffee wise, I got a cold brew which I thought was a bit too watery. The second time I went I got a small latte, but it took almost 10 mins for the barista to brew because they were backed up with coffee orders but also she meticulously measured the amount of coffee to go into each drink. While I really appreciate the precision, I was trying to catch my train to work. So definitely be aware that this isn't your go go go place if you need a super quick cup of joe before hopping on your morning commute. The place felt a bit stuffy in temperature in the morning both times, maybe because of the oven being on and such... Pay a visit to Bakeri and you won't be disappointed! I am so eager to try out their various offerings in the near future. read more
Very cute spot to grab a treat and a coffee. Friendly people - almost seemed like visiting a friends house. They all seem to genuinely like being there and seemed to like each other - not the vibe you get at some other cafés. Decor was eclectic with lots of interesting details. I had a giant latte (tasty) and a strawberry oat nutmeg scone which was huge and very filling. I managed to get one of their tiny tables - seating is at a premium here and they brought out my order, starting a tab for me. The only problem with that was when I was ready to go, it was really busy and I had to wait awhile in line to pay. No biggie though as I was in no rush. They had a good variety of breads and treats - it was hard to choose but there is definitely something for everyone! read more

Anyone will instantly fall in love with this place. Bring cash (minimum of $10 on cards, which is actually pretty easy to do because you'll want to try everything). I've no shame that I devoured a lemon bar and a vanilla coconut custard pastry on my own! read more

Ahh! The cutest bakery I've ever been to! I came here on a weekday in the morning to grab breakfast and coffee. I walked by this cafe and was immediately attracted to the adorable exterior. I can tell that whoever decorated the store has great taste in small details. I ordered the granola bowl and coffee and grabbed a seat by the window. The granola bowl was really yummy and I can tell that the granola is home-made. I had such a great morning catching up on some work and enjoying the sunshine during the summer. I loved it here so much I actually made a brochure for their menu for one of my classes. But that is besides the point - overall, if you're ever in Williamsburg and you're an early bird, why not make a visit to Bakeri? read more

Their cookies are divine! Had not really had anything quite like those elsewhere, I swear. Espresso and earl gray flavor are my favorite. Now I am dying to get their recipe for the cookie ... Two otherworldly cookies plus one amazing coffee for $3.5 dollars?! For a brief moment I thought I was back in Italy ~! Love this place, would definitely come back to try out other things they have. Almost want to move here from Manhattan because of their existence in this charming neighborhood. The bakeries, the interior, the service, the ambiance... Everything is simply perfect. read more

This is a cute place to go for tea time. I went here this afternoon with my friend. I got white peony tea with earl grey cookie and she got lavender mint tea with raspberry bar. Everything was tasty. The pastries are not too sweet and buttery. The teas are great for a light tea time. I love the iced lavender mint tea which is great for summer. They do have a cute backyard with a pond. It is nice to sit outside or indoor to enjoy our time there. read more
