I had a lot of questions about the different pieces they carried and Richard patiently walked me through the nuances of the different vaporizers, pipes, and glassware and displayed what situations they would be best suited for. I had equally positive experiences just chatting with the other staff about the area and Seattle in general. The products on display are top-notch, with most of the products hand-selected from, or custom-made by, domestic artisans. Everything is kept clean and available for a hands-on inspection so you have complete confidence in your purchase. There's clothing, there's art, there are gift items, jewelry, and more. In fact, you can't get 2 feet into the space without noticing the kick ass, fully functioning arcade games by the door! They host events often (like nail art parties, art walk events, and glass testing shindigs). There's an upper level perfect for a DJ - and more shopping! And really it's just an awesome place for folks to hang out and buy one-of-a-kind, unique items. Ironically, the people are not the friendliest in the Ballard location- I've shopped there for years but am often ignored by the hipster sales staff even if I'm the only other person. My experience at the University is the opposite- super friendly cashier who was warm and welcoming. They have a beautiful website and Instagram page so there's lots of options to explore this exquisite (but sometimes snooty) business.
