Bait is expectedly cool, definitely one of the spots I was glad to see while visiting Seattle (I think there is one also in SF but I avoid San Francisco more than other cities these days). There's a whole wall of rad toys and collectibles, like Kaws figures and Bearbricks. The shoe selection is decent, from general nike and adidas new releases to some harder to grab shoes that certainly aren't at a Footlocker. They have Y3 stuff, which is probably the most high end stuff they have for sale. I also really like the apparel range, from the Bait collab tees and hoodies, to the various streetwear brands you'd expect to find. The folks who work here are very chill and laid back, which I appreciated, and the music is solid and not annoying. If I'm ever in Seattle, I'll be back. read more

Called to ask about a sneaker drop after an employee at Likelihood directed me here. I was very specific with the release date, brand and style number but the dude kept saying "I really don't know." When I asked if he could check with someone else he said "nope," and hung up on me! Seriously shocking after the employee at Likelihood was so helpful. With high-ticket stock like this, customer service is paramount, to say the least. At least now I know to avoid them. read more

The overall shop is pretty cool. Lots of collectibles and bait exclusives in the store but most of their inventory is kept in the back so if you're looking for a particular item, it's probably upstairs. Great place to buy gifts for family and friends, I really like the layout of the store, small and roomy. If you like to collect figures, then you'll love it here. They even have some really cool sneakers. Sometimes 30% off, but inventory seems low for their shoes. 01: went to bait for the first time to see if they had what I needed. The employees were a bit.. eh? I don't know what to call them, but I though they were customers by the way they were acting. No acknowledgement and horsed around staring at the customers. Didn't really help unless they were called on. Found an item I liked, but saw a defect, asked him to see another one. Seems like most of them were like that, my bad. Seems nice. 02: went back about a few weeks later and the employees were much better than the previous ones. These ones actually talk to you and helped out a lot. I felt bad for bothering one of the guy but he was really nice and helped me out for about 40 minutes. They also seem knowledgeable as well and knew a lot of information about the items in their store. So it depends on who's working, but I'm not that big on customer service. If you're there to buy something, then it shouldn't really bother you if customer service sucks, even though it is a nice feeling when they're really helpful. Overall, don't let it affect your shopping experience cause they got some great stuff there. 03: went back recently and they seem to be better with their service, very nice or maybe it's because they see me often :D Sometimes I only see myself in the store, I wonder when their busiest hours are. Its been exactly a month since I've visit baits so I called them today asking about the product and they told me I was able to purchase a lot if I wanted to, unfortunately that wasn't the case when I got there and got placed a limit :( wasted my gas but at least I got a few. Horrible horrible customer service from the moment I walked in. Not to mention the overweight employee wearing fake Yeezy's. I was under the impression that everything including the employees was supposed to be authentic. Every time I requested a size it was a hassle to get their attention. The polka-dot employee who resembled J.Cole was also very full of himself. All of them came off as lazy and arrogant. Overall my experience was terrible and I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. BAIT always had the best collabs but they never have my size in anything. Lol. If you're looking for dope gear or fresh kicks, they got you. When this store places Help Wanted ads they must say only the biggest a-holes need apply. I saw a jacket in their window today that I loved so I went in to check it out. I was standing there staring at the man "working" hoping he'd acknowledge me and offer me some assistance but his phone call about the party he went to last night was far more important than any possible sale. Good store, layout is decent, staff was friendly but shoes are mostly GR's (general releases) that are still on shelves and are marked up above retail. They do have quite a few that aren't on shelves any more that are pretty decently priced. Need to have more retros and older releases. Thats my only real complaint but i did love the figures and statues in the store. read more

This is my first Yelp review since relocating to Seattle from New York. One of my first missions since moving here was to find a brick and mortar shop to feed my sneaker addiction. A lot of locals recommended me to Bait so I had high expectations going in & they were overly exceeded. Walking in I was surprised at how big it was considering it's a boutique. The first thing that caught my eye was the craziest selection of collectable toys i've ever seen specifically their 1000% BearBricks. I was happy to see a wide range of sneaker/brands not the typical kicks you'd find at your local Nike town or Footlocker definitely a lot of heat and more exclusive styles. They also had a real cool selection of clothing and their in house BAIT brand is dope af, never seen another store push out so many collabs from Asics, to astro boy they got it all. They even had a french bulldog chilln as you shopped around. Lastly, Bait Seattle has A1 customer service, for one all of their workers are super dipped and stylish and instantly greet you at the door. A girl named Kylie assisted me, MAD MAD Cute she had this radiant happiness and glow about her that overall would just bring good vibes and energy to anyone who walked in and make their day. She was also super knowledgeable about OG Sneakers and it felt good to talk to another sneaker head who knows their shit. I was able to cop some flyknits I was on the hunt for and was ultimately pleased with my first experience here.
