This place is AWESOME. Delicious food. I had the Cobb Salad and it was fantastic. My boyfriend built his own burger and said it was better than those made at Basement Burger in Canton. We were expecting good food fast. That's not exactly what we got. We waited about forty minutes for our food, which felt really long with two kids. Plus, we were anxious to get driving home. When our food finally came, it was mostly okay. I had the turkey chili, which was good. My wife and her sister liked the Mahi-Mahi sandwich and the bbq chicken salad. The bbq sauce is delicious. My poor nephew ordered a grill cheese, which is more properly described as a hamburger bun with cheese in the middle. It was just gross. Also, the lemonade was very watery and so was the Coke. Visited this location a week ago. Three of us got the flatbread appetizer, cheese burgers fries and sweet potato fries. App was real good. Flavorful. Burgers took nearly an hour and was dried out beyond edible. Fries and dippers were good. Brought the dried burgers to the attention to the shift manager and was told they needed to work the bugs out. I wish she would have said "I'm sorry but I hope you'll give us another chance. " instead we got a scripted excuse telling me they weren't ready to open because they hired incompetent people who couldn't cook a burger. I don't think this place will last too long. read more

With the exception of our waitress, Marie, who stuck up for us, our experience here was poor. We had to wait over twenty minutes to get our appetizer and it barely came before the main course. This place is way under rated. Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere was really nice and clean. Food was great. I had a bacon Swiss burger with a Bells Two Hearted Ale. Good portion size, good price. Wife had a burger also with a lettuce wrap rather than a bun. I always love places with a "make your own burger" option. The kids menu could use some work. We decided to come to bagger daves after hearing such great things from multiple friends. We've been here for over 45 minutes and we just got our drinks. The "handcrafted" sodas are flat and have no flavor. One member in our group was completely skipped over when we finally got to order food. My friend and I stopped here late in the evening right after we checked in to our hotel. I have to say I wish there was a place like this in Ohio. First time dining here at Bagger Dave's in Birch Run. What a great experience! Arrived on a Wednesday at 6:30pm. A warm welcome awaited us when we entered the restaurant. Our party was for four adults and two children under 3. Wasn't busy at all so we were seated immediately. Server was very polite and informative. Explained the Bagger Dave's brand with clarity. Very attentive but not pushy with the interaction. Responded fast to a spilled drink. Overall great service experience. I don't mind spending money when I take my family out to eat, especially when the experience exceeded expectations. Food was great, fresh and served piping hot. 2 cups of cheeseburger soup, 2 create your own burgers with fries and sweet potato chips, a great american cheeseburger with a house salad, eggs bacon and cheddar sandwich, 2 kids meals, and 3 house made sodas. The only reason I am even giving this place a 2 is because our waiter was good and we didn't wait long. Also my drink was great! The food was horrible though, we ordered chips and cheese for an appetizer and the chips were so hard and stale you could barely chew them. My fiance's burger was bland. My twisted Mac N cheese tasted freezer burnt and burnt to the plate like it was heated up in the microwave. Also way overpriced for what they offer. I will not be back. read more

First time here. Let's see what happens! Well. This is how it is. First off, I was really excited to come here and try it out. I've never been and was hoping for something really special. For being a "fresh prime rib recipe burger", I was expecting a burger with lots of flavor, and really juicy. Not that it isn't juicy, but I do not think the best part of a good burger should be the other toppings like the tomato and lettuce. The bun was pretty good too. The burger was just ok at best. Nothing spectacular, and really no flavor. The fries for $3.25 are good. But not worth the $. The Twisted Mac and cheese side for $4.75 was definitely not worth it. Was very tempted after my first bite to just send it back. The only thing "Twisted" about the Mac and cheese was the fact they think they can charge that amount, for something so not tasty. Not enthusiastic about this place. Do not think I will ever step foot in here again. read more

Ok I'll start by saying the burgers are fantastic. Reason for just 3 stars is the service. Wife's specialty drink took forever. My drink require an ingredient that they ended up not having. I ended up just getting iced tea. Tea shows up with three ice cubes. I had asked for sweetener waitress brings sugar? Asked for mustard when burgers arrived and waitresses bussed a table while my burger got cold waiting. She never brought check and we had to track her down to pay and leave. Whenever we are in the Birch Run / Frankenmuth area, we love to stop at Bagger Dave's. The burgers are delicious! I also love the hand made sweet potato chips, and craft sodas. I appreciated the server informing us that we could choose how we wanted our burger built by filling out a sheet giving us choices of cheese, sauces, toppings, side items, and finally all the normal toppings such as lettuce, mayo, mustard, etc.. I choose the buffalo garlic sauce for the burger and the bleu cheese for the fries. Both tasty and the bleu cheese actually had large chunks in it. The only downside was that they won't cook any burger less than medium, which disappointed me as I like mine rare, therefore only three stars out of five, as a customer, I should be able to order my burger cooked the way I prefer. This is the only burger place I've been to that won't accommodate a customer's choice of doneness. Aside from that, everything was tasty, fresh and hot, served quickly. read more

We went here when it first opened the service and the food was great. Went today the service was horrible. Walked in the door and stood there for 5 minutes before anyone even came to seat us. When we were seated it took another fifteen minutes before a waitress even came to our table to bring menu and get drink order. Had three different waitresses had to ask for straws and napkins even had to ask for silverware don't understand why they weren't busy there was only three other customers in the whole place.When we finally got our food the burgers were burnt and the fries were cold. We will never go back to this establishment. The food was really good but WOW the service by far the worst I have ever seen. Waitress never even checked up on our beers or sodas? When my husband walked up to greeter standing around with two other servers to ask for our waitress she shows back up 10 min later with a tray of soda?
