Although announced as "Bagel One & Deli," these days this small shop is really more a Mexican American deli with a bagel component than primarily a bagel hole in the wall. The baked goods appear to be delivered there and not baked on premises. Although fresh, I found my onion bagel with veggie cream cheese to be denser than I like, with no air pockets within to lighten the inner texture. Still, it was a tasty, if chewy breakfast and the Law Coffee was strong and brewed often from the single Bunn Drip at the self serve coffee counter. Service was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the trust shown by management of letting this first timer pay for my meal on my way out, rather than when ordering. This family operation knows how to treat the customer right. Had it been later in the day, a sampling of their Mexican cuisine would have been the best way to go.

Must have picked the wrong time to stop in this place. All the good reviews? Not for me. Didn't order anything special, grilled cheese with tomato on white. The photo is what I got for 5 bucks. No "ambiance", that's a joke, but, I wasn't looking for any either. The people were very nice. I took a couple of bites of half and took the other half home to doctor it up if possible. Who makes a grilled cheese without buttering the bread first??? Won't be going back, better bagel place half a mile down the road.

The service was great! I wasn't sure what I wanted and the lady behind the counter helped me pick the perfect bagel. Loved the inside of the store, plants all around the front and tables set up. And the bagels my husband and I got were so yummy; plenty of fillings and very flavorful

I've been craving for a breakfast sandwich recently and I had stopped by Bagel One and it indeed satisfy my cravings. I had ordered my usual: pork roll and cheese on an everything bagel but oddly the combo did not come with an egg lol. I guess i could've asked for it but it wasn't a combo on the menu. I love how the sandwich is freshly made and how when i split my sandwich in half, the cheese had melted beautifully. It was just a bit odd how the prices were a bit off from what I had seen online but honestly with what's going on in the world, it's expected that prices have risen. This deli is in a bit of a secluded area so you'd really need to look for it. I would definitely come back whenever I am in the area.

Still a great place. The workers are nice and everything is made quick. I ordered a chorizo, egg and cheese on a poppy seed bagel and it was delicious, and only came out to about $6. There's 3 tables inside and they have a drink and snack station.

I decided to try something new. I ordered the steak and egg special on a roll. I was not disappointed. The sandwich was hot, the roll was fresh. What a way to warm up a grey day. The lady at the counter was very nice. The menu is huge and features Latina specials. Give it a try!

These guys are fast fresh and authentic. Sometimes I go in for a fat sandwich or cheese steak, but sometimes I dive into their Mexican menu. Its all fairly priced so you cant go wrong. The downside is the atmosphere is not the most welcoming with delivery orders everywhere and it looks like the place may fall apart. For me - these things are not a big concern if the food is right and the price is right. See attached photo - 3x tacos for ~$8.

The pork egg and cheese bagel was so good. At first you may question your life choices before going in but everything was fire.

Great food and great customer service. However they definitely need a bigger establishment and better hours.

Huge, fresh sandwiches. Seems to be a mom and pop place. Serves way more than bagels. I'd suggest calling in your order for best prices.

Everyone was pleased with their Harold's New York Deli experience. This was a first time experience for 6 of us, 2 return visitors (they recommended we stop to experience the good food). It was a pleasant atmosphere and restroom gets a 5 star on its own! Very clean and fresh! Harold's New York Deli definitely gets high recommendations to try.

Would I recommend it? Yes. Is it worth seeing once? Also yes. It has that big, theatrical, old-school deli energy where the portions are part of the show. That said, I'm not in the camp that every good restaurant is automatically a five-star spot. When everything is a five, it gets harder to separate the truly elite places, the hometown heroes, and the restaurants worth planning a trip around. Harold's lands for me as a very solid three-point-something, graciously rounded to four because they have a Marine Corps flag hung in reception. The food was good, the portions were whatever you make it, and the whole place has novelty value without feeling like a total gimmick. The sandwiches are large enough to satisfy a hungry, medium-sized guy without completely defeating him. And honestly, on a menu full of meat, my favorite thing may have been the healthy pickled salad/pickle bar situation -- bright, crunchy, and a great counterbalance to the heavier deli classics. My biggest knock was the service atmosphere. There seemed to be an army of staff, but not much interaction beyond their phones. Maybe I caught it at an off time, and maybe the place comes alive when it's packed, but that kept the experience from feeling warmer or more special. Overall: fun stop, good food, convenient location, and worth doing if you're passing through. Memorable four.
