What we've ordered: - Chicken Katsu Sandwich (Brioche Bread, Purple Cabbage Slaw infused with freshly made Miso dressing, Sweet Pickles, Chicken Cutlet, topped off with Tonkatsu Sauce) - Matcha Einspanner (Finely whisked matcha crowned with a velvety layer of salted vanilla - but I add the Black Sesame Vanilla syrup) - Coffee Einspanner (Milk base with our double shot of espresso, topped with a Salted Vanilla Cream top and dusted off with some Cocoa Powder) - Passion Fruit Yuzu Tonic (A refreshing blend of tangy passion fruit puree and zesty yuzu, topped with sparkling tonic) - Ceremonial matcha (add vanilla syrup) Their matcha is made to order and not batched so it might take a bit on the day they are busy. I always come back in for my matcha Einspanner order, it's my go to when I don't make my own at home. Totally would recommend this place. Not a lot of seating but it's perfect for grab and go!

However, I think this place is more of a place for come n grab drink, as difficult to have a good convo with people, especially at that hour. Now I, living outside of Hidden Lake, wondered what is going on until I realized that there indeed exists a small town center inside there with indeed a pizzeria and a deli & convenience store. That place was Welsh Farm. Walking inside, the interior screams 80s/90s. It's not the cleanest and the interior could use some TLC. But it has the quick essentials you could need. More importantly, it has the grill. I immediately got the vibe of being back in Sunnyside Queens and going into one of the random bodegas or delis on the corner to grab something quick. What I also didn't realize is the numerous sandwiches and other items they make. There's just one guy there (I think Vim?), but I heard great things about the Paneer Tikka sandwich. Therefore, I ordered it. It was cooked on demand. Now to be honest, the sandwich was just far too spicy for even my spicy taste buds. I could only take a few bites and had to pluck out all the peppers. I could easily give 4 stars, but Vim's personal touch and customer service made me forget about the spiciness of the food. He went over and beyond, letting me know of the other items he can make, asking me to give him a call to let him know what I thought about that food. Customer service is a lost art and it is something I miss and cherish when received. Therefore, maybe I don't eat the Paneer Tikka again, but I might just try some other items because of the excellent service.

The food is consistent and nearly perfect. Of note the breakfasts are better than the competition…read more The salmon sandwich i had several times is memorable.

    | Deeply Disappointed -- What Happened to Baithakh?…read more Baithakh used to be one of our favorite go-to spots in North Brunswick. We've always enjoyed the food, but unfortunately, something has definitely changed since our last visit -- and not for the better. We ordered several dishes, including the Baithakh Seekh Kebab Roll, Crispy Fried Chicken Burger, Beef Paya, Beef Nihari, Peshawari Mutton Karahi, and Chicken Malai Boti. To our surprise, nearly everything was a letdown. The Beef Paya and Peshawari Mutton Karahi were both swimming in oil and severely lacked flavor, which was shocking considering how good they used to be. The Fried Chicken Burger had decent seasoning, but the chicken itself was tough and rubbery -- almost inedible. The Chicken Malai Boti was okay, but even that wasn't as tender or flavorful as we've had here before. Maybe they've changed chefs or recipes, but the quality just isn't the same anymore. Baithakh had never failed us before, but this visit was a major disappointment. Sadly, we're giving it a 2 out of 5 stars. We hope they find their way back to the standard that once made them great.

Literally makes me want to gag taking a bite and all the fluid audibly squishing out of the egg. It feels like theyre using water to cook it, either that or a ridiculous amount of low quality oil, definitely NOT using real butter. U might as well dip the egg in a glass of water and put it on the sandwich. I used to love this place under the prior ownership, since owners have switched it has gone downhill. The order has been frequently messed up as well. it is impossible for me and my family to genuinely enjoy a breakfast sandwich from here anymore. Only reason im not leaving 1 star is because their bagels are alright. And ill just leave this here too- 1. Crack egg into bowl 2. Add a splash of milk 3. Whisk until well combined 4. Heat butter on pan until melted 5. Throw the egg mixture in, stir and cook on med-low until all the liquid is solidified. When someone here learns how to properly make an egg, I'll update my review.
