I came in before heading to the train to go to work. I usually take a lime scooter and I even paused the ride to stop in. I stopped my commute to work and walked in. At first I wasn't sure of where to order because someone was being helped at the register. They finished and the person at register walked away: I thought hmmmm. Maybe they didn't see me. Someone walked in and went to a self service kiosk. I followed along because they have two. A man was working. He greeted me and after he saw me follow along to the kiosk he said " hey sorry I didn't mention we have a self service" I said no worries! That was nice of him. He saw me and acknowledged me, also apologized for not being clear about communication. I appreciated that. The people working seemed like they were very busy. The guy that acknowledged me seemed like a manager or maybe he was just the person who kept everyone's vibe together. He took someone's order and made their coffee right away. Someone started making the coffee and he said don't worry I already got them. I'm sure that made the kitchen staff cooking feel good to work with him. He was on it! The bagel was delicious. It was so fresh I felt like I cooked it at home. I feel like they should have more signage or something about a self kiosk. The people working and cooking are working hard. It would be nice if they could have something in place to not be bothered by patrons waiting for food so they can finish the multiple orders they're trying to bang out. The man working the register, coffee machine.. greeting patrons and checking in on while they eat. He needs to be a lead or something. He made my impatience worth it lol. I had to be at the train in 25 minutes and I got my bagel in 10.

Salted bagel with wasabi scallion schmear

I love the large selection of bagels and schmears. Within a week I've tried the breakfast bagel with sausage, the pastrami bagel, the salt bagel with wasabi scallion schmear, and their brown butter chocolate chip cookie. Their everything bagel has a strong garlic taste to it which I love. Their breakfast bagel has been my favorite so far. It's flavorful enough to not even need hot sauce, and that's a huge compliment coming from someone that loves dousing my food in hot sauce. I also found that the salted bagel with wasabi schmear tastes even better after leaving it out for a few hours. Even their cookie held up and tasted great after a day. Every sandwich is made to order from a friendly and efficient crew. This is my top bagel spot so far.

I got the jalapeño bagel with scallion cream cheese and I added bacon. The bagel was huge and fluffy inside. I wish it was actually spicy but oh well. Let me also say that the bacon was a so good and they added FOUR DOLLARS worth of it for sure which is what I paid to add it . I would come again for sure

I miss NY bagels since visiting NYC a few years ago. When I heard about Bagel Daddy and saw online that their menu has fig cream cheese, I knew I need to check it out on a free Saturday. I ordered their seasonal bagel and chose the fig cream cheese. It was so yummy! It was $6 which is a good deal. Too bad the location is out of the way for me since I live in the Richmond district and work downtown SF. Taking the bus from here back home took an hour and it's too far from work, so I could only visit again on a free weekend. What I really like about this place is they don't force me to buy a tub of cream cheese since I like to try different types of bagels and cream cheeses and want variety. There are 2 restrooms in the back.

SF is getting more bagel shops, yay! The inside is clean with some seating. They have bagels, schmears, sandwiches, and drinks to choose from. To order, you use the tablet. You can do pickup ahead or for delivery via DoorDash. I noticed some unique flavors like kumquat, blackberry mint, and garlic chili crisp. I enjoyed my bagel (open face!), which was also quite flavorful. These bagels were crisp on the outside, yet soft on the inside. There's metered street parking around the area.

pretty good! so happy the have vegan cream cheese options :) only complaint was that the people working there seemed a little chaotic and made a few mistakes while making my order. got the vegan scallion one with veggies which was yum. they didnt cut it which was :(

For the vegans, huge win because today was my first day coming in to try a bagel and they just got vegan cream cheese!! The person at the counter let me know that it's a soy based cream cheese--Tofutti. The service was friendly and quick, and they have a couple of seats inside to eat. Price was super reasonable for the area as well :). Everything bagel with vegan cream cheese, tomatoes, avocado, cucumber for $10.86 (pre-tip). Excited to come back soon !

Had the pleasure of meeting Ben the owner, And I also have the pleasure of living two blocks from this place because I will be coming weekly!! right now they just have bagels, but they will be coming out with bagel sandwiches and a coffee menu in January. So excited for his place to become the next big place! Great guy and great bagels, especially their selection of cream cheeses. Come try it out!!

Had the special Asiago Tomato bagel and the Orange Ice Tea. The owner was friendly and suggested options the operation is clean and the bagel was made hot on the grill in front of me. Business is new and I wish them much success. Quality and flavorful product with lots of options for bagels and fillings.

I have a meat allergy and ordered egg and cheese with no bacon. The bagel came with visible pieces on it and clearly smelled like bacon and bacon grease. When I raised the concern, the cook, cashier, and another staff member all denied it was meat and said it was "burning from the bagel." That response is dishonest and dangerous when someone is explaining an allergy. I also took a photo of the bagel showing the pieces and grease. Mistakes happen, but dismissing a serious health concern is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions. In respond to the owner comment For clarity, I observed the process when I was there. The eggs are cooked in a separate pan, then moved onto the grill where bacon is cooked so the cheese can melt, and then taken to the prep table where sandwiches are assembled and cut using the same surface and knife. A friend also visited today and observed the same preparation process. The pieces on my sandwich were red, thin, crispy, and oily, and it smelled strongly of bacon grease -- not egg or bread. I ordered no bacon due to a meat allergy. When I raised this, it was denied instead of being acknowledged or remade. This is a serious cross-contamination risk for customers with allergies.

    Lox bagel

These bagels are SO good! The best in San Francisco by far. My husband and I got a bagel with lox and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Both were amazing. Everything was so good we got bags of frozen bagels and cream cheese to take with us. Will definitely be coming back.

Quality egg bacon cheese - no complaints - would go again . I got the everything bagel - egg , bacon , cheese . Make sure to use hot sauce .

I've been looking for a place in town that delivers the same type of meals I'd find in Katz's (nyc), and Wise Sons is good!!! The bread was on point, not soggy at all even though this particular sandwich comes with coleslaw inside (I loved the sweetness of the slaw with the Russian dressing). The corned beef was spectacular. And I also liked their potato salad very much. You can bet I'll be ordering again from this place.

Weirdly, I often have egg-salad sandwiches on my mind, even though I know they can be gross. I've had plenty of egg-salad disasters, sandwich and otherwise, and I'm normally a very gun-shy person, but if a place has egg salad on its menu, I'll probably order it. Wise Sons always has egg salad on its menu. The problem is that it didn't have any egg salad on hand the first two times I came here.* Whatever I had instead, both times (and I had something different each time) was delicious. I don't know why I haven't tried the latkes yet. I guess I'm not a very wise son. The place is old school and feels perfect inside. It won't transport you magically to the past like many killer authentic interiors will, but it's very easy to imagine what the inside of this store looked like in 1941 or whenever. There was never more than one other person dining in each time I came. Maybe it's because I came so late in the day? More people would make it feel like a convivial breakfast destination. Empty, it feels like a good place with good food. Yes, it's overpriced, especially with all the delicious food you can get for cheaper within a few doors of this business on 24th Street in the Mission. But Wise Sons. It's a thing, a thing I'm glad I got wise to. *Did they sell out? Just didn't bother to make it? Who orders egg salad in the 2020s, anyway?

My wife and I were meeting someone in San Francisco in the afternoon and we wanted to eat lunch beforehand. We were interested in trying Wise Sons Deli since we have heard so many people praising it. Since we were coming into the city via BART, this location was great. The ambiance is pretty basic; ordinary tables and chairs and only some photos on one wall. You order and pay at the counter and then someone will deliver the food to the table. If you want coffee or water it is serve-yourself. However, the food is fantastic! My wife ordered a corned beef Reuben sandwich ($18.50). It was thick and very tasty. I ordered a House Special Pastrami Reuben that had a smaller Reuben sandwich, french fries, a side of cole slaw, and a drink ($19.50). While it had half as much meat as the regular Reuben, it was still a good size. They make their own Pastrami and Corned Beef and it tastes great. Boichik doesn't skimp on the cream cheese - it was a very generous amount! However, I agree with some of the other reviews, the bagel itself was hard. I guess I should elaborate a little more for all y'all faithful Yelp readers. I tried a couple of different bagels at Noe Bagel. The sesame and everything bagels are both generously coated, with a beautiful outer crust that has just the right texture. The inside is soft and chewy. It's a classic New York-style bagel that will satisfy even your strongest bagel cravings. The mini bagels maintain that same excellence, just in a smaller form. Because of their size, the crust-to-center ratio gives you more of the micro-blistered snap that I love about bagels. Personally, I'd choose two or three minis over one regular bagel. The cream cheese is also excellent--well-balanced and smooth. My favorite is the blueberry cream cheese. It has just a hint of sweetness that brings out the richness and creaminess of the cheese. And, like many spots in San Francisco, they offer a sourdough bagel. It's quite different from their sourdough bread, but I enjoyed it. If you're visiting, I'd recommend giving it a try. For my everyday go-to, I'd stick with a classic sesame or plain bagel, but Noe Bagel has enough variety to keep things interesting if you want to switch it up regularly. As a bonus, they sell day-old bagels by the bag for $4. You can freeze them, eat them as-is, or repurpose them into bread pudding. You'll end up with an interesting dish thanks to all the different bagel varieties mixed together--but that's part of the fun!
