Nice place. Good customer service. They have turkey for my Turkey cheese & egg croissant, which is amazing! This place gets busy throughout the day, because it's in a busy part of the city. The only thing is, theres no bathroom for the customers, which is hard to chill & do some work, but at last they have outlets! Also, the tables are not that sturdy. The Bagel Bakery is Good in a pinch. Easily the Best bagel option in the neighborhood and the quality bagel are legit. I typically choose the onion bagel with lox, but sometimes a sausage, egg and cheese on a jalapeño cheese bagel to mix it up. Both are great options among the extensive menu. There is one thing truly noticeable as soon as you walk in; the extremely Hard working employees! Attentive, detailed and flexible with nit-pick orders makes this spot a great addition to the neighborhood. This is Mainly a grab-n-go spot due to proximity to my condo, but from what I can tell, the space is super clean and fairly quiet. Absolutely recommend. read more

Really enjoyed what I tried here. Bacon Omelet w/ Onion Bagel: This was just about the perfect breakfast sandwich. Chewy bagel, soft egg, slightly crispy bacon pieces and lots melty cheese. Savored every bite of thus! Sausage Omelet w/ Everything Bagel: Thought this would be my favorite breakfast sandwich. It's very hearty for sure, but the sausage is a bit squeaky. I don't think it was griddled fresh to be crispy. Still tasty. The everything bagel was full of great seasoning! Asiago Bagel w/ Chive Cream Cheese: The bagel texture is really nice with just the right chew texture. They could have used more asiago though, since it was a faint taste. Super cute, super fast, lots of options, and great bagel sandwiches. I've seen this place in my search results when looking for my morning bagel. Finally decided to check it out on the way to the office and I'm glad I did. This place is reminiscent of old school neighborhood bagel joints/sandwich shops where most people are in and out to grab breakfast or lunch while at their jobs. Overall prices were pretty standard without being too crazy like most places in SF are. $7.95 and $8.95 breakfast bagel selections with eggs, cheese, some breakfast meat or veg, etc. What really impressed me though was the speed! After I ordered, I took a lap around the small cafe looking at some of their premade sandwiches and coffee selections, and once that lap was complete, she already had my bagel ready to go! The Bagel Bakery is located right around the corner from Oracle Park. Not too far from Mission Bay. So when I'm in the area, I come here to get a lox & bagel. It's a really tiny place, with just a few small tables to eat. So I'll usually take it around the corner and grab a Starbucks coffee and eat it there. The employees are friendly and the bagel sandwiches are made in a reasonable amount of time, not like some places where it takes forever. Not too many things are better than a lox, bagel, cream cheese, etc and Bagel Bakery makes a good one. read more

I can't tell whether they buy or prepare in-house bagels in that tiny space , all I know is that they look, smell and taste delicious. There are 4 chalkboards that tout sandwiches, spreads and beverages. Lots of attractive options from breakfast bagels to lunch sandwiches. There are typical cream cheese and lox spreads plus jams, toasted plain and several more to get your day started. Just to try them, we selected a baker's dozen of assorted bagels. The bagels were well made, toppings firmly planted and spices, seeds and flavors incorporated into the dough. After cutting and toasting, the bagels were chewy, but very moist and pliable. Very nice textures and flavors from everything, onion, garlic, dried tomato, sesame/poppy, pumpernickel, whole wheat and plain. Yes - they're OPEN!! I happened to walk by the shop today on my way to Public Storage and they were open, had their full menu, and NO ONE WAS THERE! Seeing businesses like this really breaks my heart because having friends in the restaurant industry, I have become way more aware of what a difficult decision it is to choose to stay open or temporarily (or permanently) close. I loved how they still had fresh, hot bagels available and their full menu was open. I ordered: 1. Latte - obviously had to order a coffee for fix! I can't find open espresso places anywhere within 2 blocks of me and BOY, am i tired of instant coffee!! 2. California Reuben - This is using turkey instead of pastrami and it was freshly pressed and sooooooo good!! Yummmm!! I bought an extra one for my roomies and they all agreed - YUM! 3. Blueberry Bagels - I would be completely remiss if I didn't work a bagel from a place that has the word "BAGEL" in the name! Enjoyed the service! PLUS, I loved how they had a big shower curtain up with strategically placed holes so we could still see the menu while they could protect themselves (and us)! I was really craving a great bagel and I found this place about a 15 minute walk from me. I decided to go and treat myself to a lox bagel. I got there and the place was very small and cute and everything was very quick and efficient. My bagel came to about $14 with tax and tip so it was a bit pricey but I thought it was okay if it was worth it. Unfortunately the bagel and lox just did not have much flavor. I love a good cheese bagel but it was pretty bland and then the salmon was pretty weak as well. To further my disappointment there was only about four capers on the whole thing which you can see in the middle on the sandwich. I would not say this was a bad place but I don't think I would ever make an effort to go back out of my way. read more

The bagels themselves were the best bagels I've had west of the Mississippi: chewy on the outside but still soft and very fresh. The lox bagel was also one of the best I've ever had anywhere. They have the most generous amount of whatever they put in between those yummy bagels. The eggs? Thick and tasty! The cheese? Generous enough to notice that it's there. Yes. You have choices of cheese. I had one of their bagel omelettes. At $4.25 it's easily one of my top three choices for a breakfast of this kind. Generous is the best description.
