When I went back to get it corrected, the manager made excuses that two people's order came out at the same time. When I told her that my name wasn't what she was claiming a that their employee called my name and handed me the order, she argued that it was not what happened. The bagels weren't great either. Both were hard and dry with very little cream cheese scmear. So, if you order from this location, and the get your order wrong, expect them to blame you for the inconvenience.

Lunch time could be a little hectic, especially if you're driving and looking for parking. There is also sometimes a line but the staff is quick and courteous. I've never had an issue with anything I've ordered. Def would love to be there more than once a week but since my favorite is the fresh lox sandwich, I can't afford to come in more than once in a while! Although I've only ordered to go I've noticed that there is always tables available to sit at and the area is fairly clean.

It's not the best banh mi but it usually gets the job done when you're craving one. This location is much smaller compared to other Lee's I've been to. I ordered the vegetarian bì chay banh mi with shredded fried tofu, taro, and veggies, which is usually my go to when I want a vegetarian sandwich. I haven't had Lee's in a long time since there are so many better banh mi spots now, and this visit reminded me why. The biggest issue is the bread. Vietnamese baguettes are supposed to be slightly crisp on the outside but light and airy on the inside. The bread here was really dense and chewy and tasted doughy. Lee's bread has never been great in my opinion. At other locations it's usually too dense and overly hard to the point it scrapes the roof of your mouth. This one was just bad in a different way. It was heavy and doughy without that light texture you expect. The filling itself was fine and the mayo was good, but the bread really ruined the sandwich. I'm an absolute matcha snob and make my own at home all the time; the one I had at Grounded was quite delicious and I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than most other coffee shops, which made me happy. My husband went simple with a cold brew coffee and said it had a good flavor with low acidity, which he very much enjoyed.
