    Turkey sandwich

Pretty delish! Stopped by to pick up a quick bite and it was a pretty solid turkey sandwich. Would come back to try another bite with cream cheese next time! Also, very nice people who work there.

    Perfectly balanced.

My 4th time here. The bánh mì was perfection again--buttery baguette - crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, fresh crisp veggies, and just the right kick. THE BEST BAHN MI in the East bay hands down. Paired it with an iced Vietnamese coffee that was bold, sweet, and dangerously addictive. Service is top notch and just as lovely as the food is delicious. I cannot recommend this spot enough. Skip Starbucks. Skip Jersey Mikes. Support this wonderful small-business instead.

The best bagel shop in the entire Tri-Valley. The best service, the best ingredients, and the best flavors. I honestly feel like I could live to 100 if I get to eat your food every day. Starting my morning with your delicious croissant sausage egg sandwich makes "working hard for a better life" feel so real and achievable. Every time I walk in and hear "Welcome back! What can I get started for you? No rush, take your time," those simple, caring little phrases fill my whole day with kindness and good energy. Thank you for being such a wonderful presence in our community.

Wow, so this is long overdue but Bagel Cafe has some of the BEST bagels I have ever had! I am a bagel freak and always on the hunt for a good one and this is definitely at the top of my list right now. My sister and I stopped by on our way to the bay during Memorial Day weekend and I am so glad she found Bagel Cafe. It's located off Main St in a plaza that is easy to miss if you're not from the area. We had to loop back but there's plenty of parking which I'm always a fan of. The inside of the cafe is clean and spacious. There are many options on the menu to pick from but I always stick to my go to unless I'm really in the mood to try something new. The service was wonderful, the owner was there and it's definitely true what they say - she always has a smile on her face! Our bagels were brought out rather quickly and after we tried our first bites, my sister and I were so content and happy. I say this often but I will definitely be back when I'm in the area!

Bagel Cafe is an Isla Vista classic that never disappoints! I have been. couple times and am surprised that I have yet to leave a review! I try something different each time I go, but I would have to say one of my go-to orders is a toasted garlic bagel with chipotle smear! SO GOOD! Service is super quick and the people working are always so helpful. The Emma and a classic BLT of pesto bagel always hit the spot too. A chill, laid back spot to hit the get your day started or for an afternoon pick me up!

By the time I remembered to take a photo, I was almost done with my sandwich. This is the turkey croissant sandwich.

It's always a pleasure to support and dine at Bagel Cafe. The ladies that work here are always so friendly and hospitable. The sandwiches are HUGE, so my Nana and I shared it. We ordered a turkey sandwich with all the fixins' on a croissant. The turkey and proteins are so fresh. The croissant is so light and just perfect. I think it is baked fresh daily. We enjoyed our turkey sandwich. Also available is a big assortment of bottled sodas, juices and teas. This place is frequented by locals and the ladies always remember their regulars by name. I will definitely return. I love the food, freshness and hospitality.

My sister's favorite bagel spot! She's become quite a regular and I tag along with her a few times :) I've really enjoyed each experience going to this bagel cafe. I typically get the salami sandwich on an everything bagel - they definitely give you the most in these bagels!! They make sure to stack it so you're really getting your fill. I think the bagel is soft on the inside and a little crispy on the outside which is perfect. All of the ingredients flow really well together, as the ratio is great, and I love eating these bagels every time. The customer service is absolutely so wonderful and sweet! So friendly every time we go, and they are just so fun to talk to! I always feel welcomed right when I put my first step through the door. They have a few seats and the interior is comfortable. Parking is not an issue as well, since they have a lot. Definitely will be coming back! Excited to try even more bagels :)

The menu has something for everyone.

I have been coming into this amazing shop every day for the last two weeks sometimes TWICE A DAY! Everything is so fresh and full of flavor not to mention filling. I am so spoiled to come into this shop to be greeted by the sisters who say my name with the biggest smiles on their faces. I love all the freshly baked sweet treats, especially the cherry sticks and the beautifully baked banana walnut muffins. My family is big fans of their special sandwiches and teas.

I absolutely love this place. There's nothing on the menu to complain about. Everything is so good. The ladies there are fantastic human beings that truly care about their customers and the community! When you visit often enough they'll even remember your name and order! I wanted to retake photos of their menu because the ones currently on Yelp are difficult to see. When you visit this place, you must get your sandwich with their freshly baked croissant, which is huge!

Today I stopped in to grab a couple of bagels for breakfast. When I received the order, the employee looked me in the eye, said my name and then handed me the bag. She knew it was for me, or at least that is what her actions said. It was the wrong order. When I went back to get it corrected, the manager made excuses that two people's order came out at the same time. When I told her that my name wasn't what she was claiming a that their employee called my name and handed me the order, she argued that it was not what happened. The bagels weren't great either. Both were hard and dry with very little cream cheese scmear. So, if you order from this location, and the get your order wrong, expect them to blame you for the inconvenience.

The result? A complete disaster. When my guests opened the wraps from the box, almost every single sandwich contained meat which was completely unexpected and It was deeply embarrassing. Hoping for a quick resolution, I called the store and offered to drive right back down to pick up a corrected order. Instead of making it right, the staff member flatly refused. I was told it was "peak time," the line was out the door, and that I could "order online or stand in line again." The sheer audacity to expect a customer--whose order you just completely ruined--to wait in line all over again while guests sit at home starving is mind-boggling. With zero options and hungry guests including kids, I was forced to order basic bagels from this exact same store via DoorDash just to feed everyone. After the party, I went back to the store to address it. All I got was a casual, "Sorry about that, the person who took the order is new." Please help me understand how that excuse saves me from the embarrassment I faced in front of my guests. To put this into perspective: 10 out of the 12 sandwiches were completely wrong. Only two sandwiches and the coffee box were correct. Looking at recent reviews, I see I'm not the first person this has happened to. Management needs to wake up and take this seriously. Otherwise, this place is going to become a Pleasanton landmark for all the wrong reasons--a spot where you order one thing and are guaranteed an unpleasant surprise.

I've been going to this Noah's for years and I always get the same thing for myself in addition to 4 unsliced bagels to go. The lox sandwich with a chocolate chip cookie. I love it! The customer service seems generally ok actually. The only difference I've noticed is that a man who I always assumed was the owner or manager seemed negative toward whatever group of kids was working ( almost always hard). It really bothers me when managers are rude to their staff. But The lox bagel is always very good so I keep going. I dropped by at lunch today and had the strangest experience. I ordered the usual and added 2 sesame and 2 plain bagels to go. Same old, same old. I am not sure if the 2 boys and woman working today were related or not. Their grasp of English was not very good but after repeating myself several times, I thought we had made the effort to submit the order. I was told that I couldn't have a cookie ( the choc chip cookies are the bomb). I thought it was odd, but I was tired of explaining so I moved aside to wait for my order. Hmmmm - maybe they are cutting back? The worst is that I used Apple Pay, added the tip but didn't look at the total. Ugh. Then I experience an unusually long wait and notice the lady who ordered before me is not happy with the order she received after her long wait. Rut row. I finally get my order and by then the line has gotten quite long. Of course, since they didn't bag the bagels right away when I ordered ( they usually do) the kind I ordered and paid for is not available. I made another choice anyway and decided to be flexible. The bag with the sandwich seems oddly light. Ugh. When I open the bag in my car, I discover a bagel with too much cream cheese but no lox. They charged me correctly for what they interpreted as my order- but I stopped for my fav sandwich so I drag myself back into the store. Luckily I caught the woman making food at the pick up counter. After the difficult communication exchange, I offered to pay the difference and get what I originally wanted- the damn lox bagel and the cookie . Now people waiting have watched every exchange and are now laughing but I am being cordial despite the lady I'm negotiating with appears annoyed with me. I now really understand that the grasp of English is not just not there. No apology, no what can I do to resolve the error approach was offered, no agreement to let me pay the difference. They wipe off the heaping mound of cream cheese at my request and I watch her add the lox, etc. She is very light on the ingredients but at this point, I want to pay and get out of there. She turns around and slides the rewrapped lox bagel across the counter. I ask for the cookie and to pay the difference. She refused to give/sell me the cookie and had the strangest smile on her face. I ask for the manager who I'm told went for a walk. The manager should be managing this hopeless situation. I guess I need to find a new place for lox bagels. Apparently there's no one who cares about the success of this Noah's Bagels. I know I'm not doing that again. Maybe just the Pleasanton Noah's? Edit after business reply: I thought about this situation last night and what I have written. In order to run a good business, you have to support your employees. The three people there were doing their best. Between the language gap, probably a cultural difference, support from an experienced manager, and lack of training - they understandably struggled. It's not them I'm boycotting- it's the management. If you value your customers and employees and want to make a profit change something! There are lots of people who want to work in a well managed business who pays fairly. Don't apologize to every reviewer because it falls flat.

I haven't had Lee's in a long time since there are so many better banh mi spots now, and this visit reminded me why. The biggest issue is the bread. Vietnamese baguettes are supposed to be slightly crisp on the outside but light and airy on the inside. The bread here was really dense and chewy and tasted doughy. Lee's bread has never been great in my opinion. At other locations it's usually too dense and overly hard to the point it scrapes the roof of your mouth. This one was just bad in a different way. It was heavy and doughy without that light texture you expect. The filling itself was fine and the mayo was good, but the bread really ruined the sandwich. I probably won't be coming back since the bread was not what I expected, especially since I've had Lee's many times before.

Although this was a tad off the freeway, it was easy to find with plenty of parking. There were beautiful trees & plants outside, which also surrounded the patio area. The space was clean with a modern yet rustic feel. The employees were fairly friendly and made our drinks rather quickly. I got a matcha latte with oat milk & brown sugar vanilla syrup added. They had so many unique syrup options that I had a tough time ultimately deciding, but the brown sugar vanilla was honestly such a great choice. I'm an absolute matcha snob and make my own at home all the time; the one I had at Grounded was quite delicious and I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than most other coffee shops, which made me happy. My husband went simple with a cold brew coffee and said it had a good flavor with low acidity, which he very much enjoyed.
