As you can see from the other reviews, the place is clean and it is fun. I have been 3 times now and the staff has been very friendly each time. They keep the wood wet and when it's too cut up they replace it with regularity. I brought my son and they had a small axe as well as a ninja star for them to throw. They also showed my handicap father how to properly throw and not hurt himself while throwing from his scooter, which was cool. I almost did 4 stars as it is kind of a turn off that they have a tip jar sitting in the axe throwing pits, but i don't know how much they pay their employees so I guess you have to get paid however, just it feels off. One time an employee sat behind us the entire time and talked and chatted with u, the other 2 times they just showed us how to throw properly and walked away, Either way, i recommend this place for a fun 1 - 2 hour date night or chill night with some friends read more

Such a fun place. Soon will be renaming Badaz Entertainment. Why? Well they not only have axe throwing, but they also have a batting cage, 2 escape rooms Unhaunted Mansion and Things R Strange based off of Stranger Things down at their Boba and Milkshake place. Two of their Axe Targets are going to be remodeled and it will the target will be projected onto the wall. We got a VIP tour. Love how they treat their employees. Great family who likes to have fun! read more

I organized an evening for my husband and his friends, as I was to be out of town for his birthday. The workers at Badaz not only helped me set the entire thing up to keep it a surprise from him, the boys also said that the staff was incredibly engaging and fun to work with. They did both axe throwing as well as the escape room, and had nothing but good things to note about both. Depending on how experienced you are, they can help you a lot or leave you mostly to yourself, and it's incredibly well taken care of in terms of cleanliness. It's also very affordable, especially when compared to other axe-throwing locations in the Valley. Highly recommend going if it's something you're interested in. read more

This was such a fun night out! I brought myself, my 16 year old and my mom. We all had such a great time! Jose was AMAZING by the end of the night we were all feeling so excited because we were doing it! We were getting bulls eyes! Jose was a kind person and great teacher! Looking for fun in Surprise! This place was great! They allow outside food, they have tables to set up and space to enjoy. Never thrown an axe? This was such a neat experience. They don't just hand you an axe and put you in front of a target. The staff here will take the time to show you different techniques and help guide you through different games you can play. The staff being so friendly was a huge part of why we enjoyed our time here. While they do take safety seriously (as they should), it is still a very pleasant and lighthearted atmosphere. Wasn't sure if they allow walk ins... They do! This was a super fun experience!!! I have used an ax an awful lot in my youth but never had thrown one. It's byob after 4 so the $33 rate for 2 per person or $25 for 4-7 per is quite a steal for a really fun hour. Jose was our coach and was super helpful! I will be back within the next week! read more

I could just see myself drowning in self doubt and subject to the criticism of everyone around me. I could not be any further from the truth. I found the whole experience fun and enlightening. KiKi the host was super approachable and very engaging. The teaching process was easy to learn and all of us felt successful as we worked our way through the process. This whole experience was outstanding and I learned that I might be Bob Ross' love child! I would be happy to go to another class. Give this a try!

There were lots of employees and volunteers to guide you to your seats and answer any questions you may have. Outside the venue they also have a listing of upcoming events. While at our local public library I saw they had a flyer with Jeff Foxworthy on it. That is how I learned about this facility and events. With our 28th wedding anniversary here I thought what a great idea to see his show. We love to laugh. Clean and nice with lots of seating yet cozy. Not a bad seat in the house. Easy to access clean restrooms and beautiful art hung along the walls you may purchase. The only bummer about this place is the seating design. The rows are too close together and if you have to get up or get to your seat, the whole row must get up to let you in and out. We enjoyed the show. They offer refreshments, snacks and cocktails. Nothing fancy. They take donations and have membership options as well for those who would like to attend a lot of shows. Can't wait to go back. They do have handicap access and seating.

I'm giving Great Skate the second star because Great Skate at least refunded 2 of the 3 grandchildren's fees since 2 of the 3 refused to skate once getting past the Great Skate entrance and seeing what it was like inside. I was there just to bring the kids. I did not skate; I was just 1) a Great Skate spectator, 2) the source of payment to Great Skate and 3) to be responsibile for the kids while they were visiting Great Skate. Nonetheless, I had to sign a Great Skate waiver and I was not allowed to sign the Great Skate waiver without providing an email address. I was more than willing to sign the Great Skate waiver, provide a driver's license, provide my passport, give fingerprints, whatever to just to get inside of Great Skate. But, because the Great Skate waiver is online I could not progress thru the Great Skate waiver without me first forking over my email address. Otherwise, I would be denied the ability to be responsible for the kids. Rather than wait outside the doors of Great Skate while the kids went in by themselves, I gave up my email address . . . just to sit on a bench and watch. Yep, now I'm getting spammed with a relentless barrage of Great Skate email solicitations. They are not about a good CX, just generating more revenue, bolstering the Great Skate spam list and managing data via a rigid Great Skate platform.

It would have been sad had it not been so funny. The place is small. The place is not a "rink". It's a room with plastic tiles for ice. It wasn't even fairly cold. So yeah sorry one star. Can't call this ice skating in any way
