The owner quoted my parents and me two different prices and charged us for a premium package that included security--yet no security was provided, despite us paying for it. 3 hours before the end of the event, the owner repeatedly turned on the lights, which caused many of our guests to leave early. We were also charged for projector screens that we were unable to use due to a lack of proper connections, and no refund was offered. Overall, the experience was horrible, and my mother's party was completely ruined.

First all of all there is a complete lack of professionalism since the start when we needed to drop of payments we were told a certain time and they would show up 20-30 minutes late sometime in sleeping clothes. The day of the wedding I arrived earlier than everyone (2pm) because we had vendors setting up background and dessert tables. The dessert table was done and I was waiting on the background to be done when I saw an older man taking treats from the table. When I asked the lady we had been dealing with who he was and if they could cover the table be va use it was for our guest, she responded with oh that's my dad and laughed it off. Fast forward to party time the Dj was supposed to have been set up and start playing music by 6 pm he arrived at the reception hall at 6:00 pm started setting up and didn't start playing music by 6:20 pm. When I went to speak the Dj (he was included in the package with the venue) he was rude. He played his music list when my sister and her husband had met with him on December 13th 3 days before wedding date. They provided a list of music they wanted played during dinner time. Again went to speak with DJ to ask why he wasn't playing the music requested he responded he had not been provided with one First my sister texted him and he ignored the message and when bride came and spoke to him he responded that he didn't have internet or wifi for his laptop that is why he couldn't play it. Now moving on to security, he too arrived at 6 pm walking through main door getting dressed in front of guest. He also used up film from the Photo Booth my sister paid for from outside vendor. Something else included in the deal package was unlimited ice but later we were told it was a mistake and we needed to provide our own or pay extra. Moving on with food service and servers. First of all there were two servers who were sick that day. They were coughing and sneezing all over the food. When asked to please not allow them to serve food or wear masks they became rude. But before they even started serving the food to our guest they were all eating from the food we had paid for t her guest. When we brought this to the salon so managers attention they all became rude and hostile. Serving how ever and who ever they wanted. The dish they had picked is traditional barbacoa with beans and pasta salad. When we asked about the salsa because guest were asking they told us it was not included and needed to pay for it if we wanted it. My sister's friend provided pizzas for the guest who wanted and when guest went to ask for plates they were turned away. We had to again speak to the manager but this wasn't corrected there were over 20 boxes of full pizzas. And they did not want to serve it, we were ignored by the reception hall manager and we had to ask the band to announce that who ever wanted more food or pizza could ask for it as we had plenty left. Moving in to the bar tender. She was very nice with the ppl who were consuming alcoholic drinks as they were the ones tipping her. As the salon stated there was a 2 drinks per person limit for broths alcohol and soda. Many of the guest had brought to our attention that when asking for soda or water they were either ignored answered rudely and /or told they could only get one. When we clearly saw that they were providing others with 3-4 beers or mixed alcohol drinks. When the time was up for but the venue( mind you it was immediate family left) we were all rushe to gather our things to leave. Practically thrown out, we were told we needed to hurry or they would lock the doors up. Again this is a few things I know my sister's friend dealt with other issues. I definitely do not remember this venue.

Huge take a book leave a book area is located in the lobby. This is more than a Free Little Library. (Those are great. Not knocking them.) The selection here is shelves upon shelves. If visiting, remember to bring a book or two to donate or swap out. Puzzles are also available. Along with a lending library is a food box. The crate/box is on the front desk. Visitors may take food items if needed. Have something extra in your cupboard? Bring it to donate. Parking is located at both the front and back entrances.

We opted for the all in package where Boojum coordinated with their preferred venders to handle about 90% of the arrangements and for a VERY reasonable price. Everyone brought their A game!! Food was delicious, music was fantastic (even with a last minute DJ swap due to an emergency), and the grounds were stunning! They did everything right. Multiple beautiful backdrops available for the big day. We chose the grand fountain but soooo many other great options. Even the little things. Everyone warned us how hard it is to eat on your wedding day but as soon as we left the ceremony area to the backstage, there was a waiter for my wife and I along with the bridal party with appetizers and drink orders. Jennifer the day of works as your wedding coordinator and she does a fantastic job! Everything was so well run and on time as well. Everyone told me this was the best venue and the best experience they ever had at a wedding and I know it wasn't just them being nice! The decor and aesthetics were wonderful for the venue and the Arizona area. The area in the main part of the venue, were the ceremony took place was lovely and shaded. There was a fountain and surrounded by lovely trees and structures. As with all venues, hosting a wedding with a cash or cash-less bar, this venue fell into the same issue. The alcohol not in bottles or cans just had to be watered down. There is no possible way our friends and myself had as many vodka mixed drinks, we are talking about over 10 or 11 at least for myself, and never even got a buzz. This seemed to be the consensus. The other issue was just the layout. The covered area / enclosed structure where the dinner took place was large and spacious. It was decorated with plants and man made areas that were lovely and it kept everyone together, socializing, and simply having fun. When that was done we were moved to an area behind the bar/sitting structure for live DJ and dance floor. This was simply counter productive to encouraging that togetherness and partying. instead it had various separate and distinct fire pits with covered areas and seating around each one. This pretty much cause the wedding party to all separate into their own clicks and neither one really interacting unless you were directly related/known to them some how. We had a guest list of 150. The table decorations and plating was absolutely gorgeous and looked over the top formal than what we expected! The vendors were able to set up early as the planning committee I worked with settled in. My husband and I were the emcees for the night, so we got to see the entire event. All the attendees really liked the food, and all extra was packaged for us to bring home! They also had security onsite inside AND OUTSIDE during the event. The one inside was very attentive, because at one point he turned on an additional ceiling fan. The process was seamless with Doug. Him and his team did an amazing job for us! They have two other locations throughout Phoenix, so we hope to book with them again!
