The lighting on the inside is cool, and the computers run everything, are in good condition. The only downside I ever ran into was that sometimes you need to hunt around for a working headset, but other than that . 10/10

Understandably they're there to keep everyone within their designated ~42 inch square but realistically there's no way to aim here, you will absolutely smack your mouse into the bumper if your normal sens exceeds 15cm/180. That math might sound kinda funky but they have a full 100% keyboard with a numpad, so you lose all that space in practice unless you curl up in a wildly unnatural position and rest the keyboard on the plastic bumpers but nothing I did even remotely made this place comfortable. It's as if they've never had anyone play a shooter here, or everyone who ever has had an eDPi of 12000 or higher. They aren't really equipped for MMOs either, every mouse in sight was a Razer Deathadder Essential, no Nagas or Scimitars or even a knockoff 12 button, so unless you're clicking your buttons or reaching to the = key naturally on a full sized keyboard you're crippled. I picked up a 5 hour session off the rip because my buddies in town and I only have one PC in my place, I couldn't even survive 30 minutes here before just giving up and deciding to watch him play, but even a guy who never gets to play, who really wants to play, couldn't survive more than an hour and a half of his five hours. Side note, we pushed in our chair to make space to walk through the aisle and the light rattle of the desk sent a PC for a whole bootloop back to BIOS. If you aren't desperate it's something, but don't come here for Overwatch or Valorant or CSGO or really any shooter.

I've been to The Mighty Axe twice. Ambiance (4/5): This is part of what I love about The Mighty Axe. It has a cabin feel to it. Despite being in Phoenix, you feel like you've been transported to the mountains. There's some seating at the bar as well as some comfortable seating close to a fireplace. The barstools at the bar don't have back support (which is always a con in my book). The music tends to be solid. All in all, a cool spot. And a casual one at that. Service (4/5): The service tends to be friendly, laidback, and efficient. Just like I like it. Food (N/A): I've been on a liquid diet both times, and to be honest, I'm not even sure if they have food. Drinks (3.5/5): Everyone likes different flavor profiles when it comes to cocktails. The Mighty Axe has a solid list, though one that is not super appealing to my taste. Outside of their cocktail list, they have a full bar. The Mighty Axe, if the name didn't give it away, is both a bar and an axe throwing place. While I haven't done any axe throwing, I've checked out the area where it's located (the back of the bar). And there's even one outside on the small patio. Overall, one of my favorite bars on High Street (I live in Desert Ridge so I've frequented pretty much everywhere in the area).

A huge shoutout to our instructor, Alex, who did an awesome job teaching us the proper technique and made the whole experience even better. Even with his great instruction, I think I only managed to hit the target about 5 out of 50 throws (haha), but that just made it more entertaining! We were laughing the whole time. If you're looking for something different, fun, and memorable to do with friends or family, this is definitely the place to go. We'll absolutely be back!

Here is what I liked about it: There was no age requirement for Axe and Knife throwing so my 10yo god daughter was able to enjoy something new and different. A lot of places have age restrictions. It was not packed so we were not rushed out and even given a little extra time. They have a pool league. Since they have a very limited menu they allow you to bring in your own food, not alcohol. We got Dickys BBQ but also ordered the chicken tenders and fries here. Plenty of parking It's very neat and clean inside Haley was amazing If you come here and Order food place your order as soon as you get in they air fry everything for a healthier option so it takes a little longer. 45 min and Haley told us that ahead of time so we knew what to expect. But once we got everything it was cooked to perfection! We had chicken tenders, fries and churros. This is a hidden gem, been here almost 10 years, next to RTO Sullivan's and a few restaurants in the area. They are doing construction as some businesses next to them closed down. Hidden in the corner this is a great place for family hangout, dates, girls night out, or just to come practice pool. We will definitely be back!

It wasn't that busy when we were there. The food took a bit longer than usual and it was not great. I asked the ladies if there was missing items or an issue in the kitchen. One of them said they would address the kitchen and told me that they are new & learning. At check out the lady at the counter asked if we wanted to tip. We were confused as we had already tipped at closing out the bar tab. I asked who was this tip intended for and she replied that they share tips but it was meant for the host who walked us in & explained how to throw (she was also supposed to be our server, but she never came back to check on us). I politely said no as she did not serve nor check in on us throughout the night. Wierd system for double tipping, jot a fan. It was fun, just not great service.
