The food at Bad Daddy is always great, however, the last time I went here (a couple of months ago) the service was sub-par at best. The food took a while, we weren't greeting for a bit, and the check took a while. But recently, I came in to eat and the service was a complete 180. After spending 1 hour in WALMART we deduced to grab something to eat . My boyfriend could eat a burger everyday if he could lol. Upon entering we was greeted with a warm welcome and seated. The menu is very easy to read and the waiter was super friendly . For our appetizer we ordered BAD DADDY'S amber ale queso Monterey Jack cheese infused with our very own Bad Daddy's BURGER BAR ~ Bad Daddy's Amber Ale, jalapeño peppers, green chiles & tomatoes. Served with crispy I ended up getting a premade burger that's already on the menu which was called the BD's all-american' it came with Ketchup, yellow mustard, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion & pickles. So Its been a few years since Ive visited this establishment but I am glad I came back. My daughter and one of her friends wanted to hang out with me for her birthday so we hung out for a few hours and worked up an appetite. We were in the area so we wanted to try Bad Daddy's again. They have updated their menu since the last time and boy let me tell you... I thoroughly enjoyed the options. For our appetizers, we had Fried Pickles and the Not your mama's deviled eggs. I love me some fried pickles but them darn fried deviled eggs... yeap you read that correctly... I said FRIED DEVILED EGGS! They were friggin amazing.... GOOD LAWD... they should probably call them SLAP YO MOMMA deviled eggs because they were just that good. For the main course, my daughters friend had the New Salmon Teriyaki Sandwich, my daughter had the Magic Mushroom burger and I went with the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids. Now I can't speak on their sandwich and burger respectively but that dang on Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids will make you lick the plate. I also had an order of onion rings and my daughter and her friend had sweet potato french fries. Like I said, I can't speak on their food but considering their plates were empty, Im sure they enjoyed their food as well. Usually don't do a review so this is saying something. Service was the worst I've experienced in a while. Come if you have a lot of time to waste. Only around 4 tables and they've been here for a while with their food. I ordered a burger for takeout and waited for more than 30 minutes with nobody asking if we needed anything. Had to ask a waiter to check on the order just to find out they're out of brioche buns. So I waited for absolutely no reason for them to not start on the order and had to wait almost an additional 30-45 minutes for them to start making it. We saw lots of servers helping the booths around us, just not our booth. We got the hint....and needless to say, we got up and left. The vibe of this place puts me in the mindset of a dive bar on the east side of atlanta. The staff is friendly and helpful. The waitress I believe was serving everyone left in the establishment while the bar was run by the bartenders. She came by frequently and was attentive the entire time. We ordered a order of Not Your Mama's Deviled Eggs - they were okay to me, my friend loved them. The burgers were not it, I'm use to handmade burgers cooked medium and my burger omg it was so dry. The fries were not seasoned and cold and dry as well. My friend had the same issue with his, Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids however his truffle fries were hot and well seasoned. I would leave a review about the food but I didn't get a chance to eat. I came in today to eat, drink and watch the game. The male host was nice but that's where it ended. We sat in the bar section at a high top table. No one came over to greet us. We scanned the menu only for the drink menu to pop up. The food menu was not available (see screenshot) and still nobody came to our table. I looked around the bartender didn't look our way and the other wait staff was too busy sitting around looking at the game. At this point 15-20 minutes passed by with no one to even bring us a glass of water. We didn't think any of it until another group walked in and they got immediate service. I've come to this location of Bad Daddy's a few times and have had mixed experiences. It's definitely a mixed bag of pluses and minuses, and when everything is done right this place is great but when not it's not worth it. On the plus side there are a quite a few proteins to choose from for your burger, as well a huge variety of toppings, from cheeses to peanut butter to vegetables and meats of all kinds. You even get to choose your bread which is nice. In terms of sides, I recommend the fries, sweet potato fries, or chips, but not the mac. Parmesan fries are good but don't know why they charge so much more for them. I've had their burgers, chicken, and black bean burger, and the execution where Bad Daddy's does not always come through. If I'm (now) easily paying upwards of 10 dollars a burger, just the burger before sides, it needs to be done right. For example, my most recent burger did not include the grilled mushrooms I asked for, and while I did ask for dijon mustard this had a really thick layer. Dijon mustard should not be dripping off the sides of a burger. This isn't the first time I've had this issue here, where the toppings I've ordered aren't included, or the wrong topping is included, or the proportions are off. I have also had great burgers here, so it really does depend. Service is another area where this location is hit or miss. It seems they may be understaffed, and may also explain why the food is also sometimes off, but for example not uncommon to have to ask for a refill, flag a waiter down if you need anything, etc. One of the issues is whoever bused our food last time put it on the table and left without asking "do you all need anything, does everything look good?" our waiter was MIA, so after waiting a few minutes I ate the burger as is. Probably will give it another shot and hope for the best. read more

I've been hearing so much about Bad Daddy's Burgers that I decided to give it a try for First Taste Friday's. The area around the restaurant was nice so The Mrs and I decided to dine in and enjoy the scenery. It didn't take us long to get seated and seen by our server. After a quick overview of the menu I decided to get the Emilio Chicken Sandwich with a side of Truffle Parmesan fires. The wife ended up getting a Bistro Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. It took a little while for the food to come out so we decided to order a Strawberry Margarita while we waited. It was definitely made with a lot of...attention! Lol definitely worth getting if you go. The food finally came and it sadly all of it wasn't as good as it looked. The Bistro Burger, truffle fries, and sweet potato fries were good...the chicken sandwich not so much. It had a lot of toppings, which made the sandwich pretty messy, and the chicken and bacon was over cooked. It was good enough to finish, but if I had the chance I would have picked something else. Im huge burger enthusiast so I know my burgers, a burger from Bad Daddy's is one of my favs for sure ! The first time we went was right when they opened up and we had an okay experience. Went a second time a couple months ago and we definitely enjoyed it more than the first. I love the classy sports bar vibe they have in there. They have a full bar with many different beers. There menu has a decent amount of options as well. Burgers, sandwiches, apps, sides. They have their own burgers on the menu but you can also build your own. And just like the burgers you can build your own salad too. Whenever I go I always build my own burger and have a side of tots(the tots are superrrr good). The burgers always come out just as I ordered it and they're great! They cook their burger to perfection so if you're a burger lover definitely check them out! We went here on a whim and were glad they did. It was a beautiful night so we sat outside and had a great view of all the TVs. They have garage style doors that were up and a portion of the bar that was outdoors. I highly recommend this spot for a group looking to watch a game. Came here for my birthday and it was our first time. I want to keep this review short and simple. We were sat immediately and our server came and took our drink orders right away. I asked for a beer and my fiancé asked for a strawberry lemonade. We ordered our appetizers and entrees and it went down hill from there. My fiancé got the build your own burger. They put a disgusting amount of Mayo and mustard on the burger which made the bread soggy. She asked for bacon and they didn't put it on there. I got the bacon overload burger and the bacon was as black as my t shirt. I asked for no pickles and they gave me pickles. I asked for it to be medium and it was well done. Oh and that beer I asked for earlier in the review finally came out just seconds before my entree. Just pitiful. I had heard great things about this place and it was a huge disappointment. The manager came by and asked if we wanted a remake to go and we stated we didn't. I mean we had already waited 45 minutes. He did end up giving us free burger coupons (pictured) for the next time we come, but I don't see us coming back. We didn't even touch our food. A. Bad Daddy's in Windsor Parkview is located next to the Alden in Chamblee. There is plenty of parking, as well as a garage for retail customers in the area. This is probably one of the more cramped BD's I've been to. The placement of the bar in the middle is useful for those sitting outside but is an obstruction for the restaurant spacing itself. I would probably not bring a large party here unless we wanted to sit outside. I did enjoy the Bad Betty cocktail, and I have had friends rave about this location's margaritas being super strong! The Emilio's Chicken is pretty solid, I wouldn't get it again since their burger options are much better but for some reason they were out of a lot of ingredients last time. I personally LOVE Bad Daddy's, but I'm giving the Chamblee location 3 stars because I have had a better experience food/atmosphere wise at other locations. read more

Asked for the bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter and jam. (Yes! Sounds crazy but when it's done right. It's bomb! #FSUALUMNI) Anyways, I told the server they should add more salt to the patties. This is the BEST burger restaurant I've been to in years! We came here on a Friday night and it was packed so we sat at the bar (first come first served). The service was excellent! They had many TVs, in all directions, of different sporting events. One TV was even on the movie Dodgeball (EPIC!) There's so much on the menu to choose from! You can build your own burger or build your own salad or BOTH! You can customize any sandwich with any type of protein, which is what I really liked. I ordered the Emilio Chicken Sandwich with grilled chicken instead of fried chicken and grilled apples instead of bacon. It was delicious! Seriously the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! On the side, I got the salad which I customized with the 7 toppings of my choice and a lemon vinaigrette dressing. For dessert, we ordered the homemade banana pudding. It was AMAZING!
