We ordered from the lunch specials menu, which we felt was a great deal. I had the Harvey Classic burger that came with seasoned fries. My father had the corn dog (Dawg) and mother had a burger as well. The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and accurately. Everything was hot and delicious. I was so hungry I forgot to take any photos. Very satisfied with the meal. Service was friendly and professional. Our server checked on us enough. The indoor space is decorated with sports theme. Where I was sitting the walls were painted with World Cup pictures and jerseys. There were also three TVs: two showing World Cup games and the other showing a sports talk show. The outdoor picnic tables and rooftop area would be super in the cooler temperatures of evening.

I don't know WHAT is happening in the kitchen back there, but they definitely kicked things up a notch because everything I had was FANTASTIC during my last 2 visits. The beignets are probably the best item on the menu, but to be honest, I don't have one complaint about the wings (I got Honey Hot and they were well-flavored and saucy, just like I like them), and their cheese pizza has always been great. Also had the cinnamon pretzels and they came hot and so good, especially with the side of cream cheese dip. The rooftop is always cute for a hang-out (and, contrary to the downstairs area, remains for those 21 and up). I can't think of a time where The Harvey is suggested, and I don't want to go so I hope they keep doing what they're doing, because it's one of my favorite spots to hang out in Chamblee.

I had to update this review to reflect on how much I love this place. This sports bar is…read moreeverything. And the employees make it even better. Every week I look forward to returning for some wings and wine (of which they pour GENEROUSLY). Valerie is a great bartender -- engages in good convo every once in a while but doesn't intrude so much that it becomes annoying. She's a true people person and understands the basics of good service very well. To be fair I'd say the very same about the rest of the service staff, to which there aren't many but they manage to handle the bar and tables throughout very well. Shout out to Dawson for really taking care of customers and getting to know the patrons, and the owner who occasionally pops out of the kitchen to see how the place is doing. Everyone is genuinely very friendly. The back patio is great for larger families and pups (this place is hella dog friendly). The bathrooms are spotless and smell amazing. The clientele is incredibly chill. It's right off of the rail trail which is basically Chamblee's beltline. There are deals throughout the week and sometimes they host live music. The music they play in-house caters varies from country to rock to old school r&b. And the tap is honestly quite good and I'm not even a beer drinker. The pretzels are addictive. The wings are soooo good -- they bake them first to keep the juices in and then they fry them for the crunch: PERFECTION. The cheese curds are wonderful but definitely eat them while they're hot! And did I mention they serve THC infused drinks yet? HYFR. Man it's such a chill place so I wish it'd stay downtown Chamblee's little neighborhood secret but I have to give them their 10s publicly. They're only open evenings though!

I thought they were both just okay, actually ended up taking them home and making a sauce to coat them in. 5/10 - Wisconsin cheese curds ($11): portion huge, the cheese is nicely battered and comes with a ranch dipping sauce. While it is slightly salty I really enjoyed it and would come here just for this 9/10 - moondog burger ($15): beef patty with bacon and comes with fries. The food was a bit undersalted 7/10 Definitely get the cheese curds

We have been wanting to try the bistro filet bites, but what we received was rancid. The meat was cooked, but it had a smell that I noticed only after biting into one, chewing, and immediately spitting it out. It was unbelievably foul-tasting and the worst meat I have ever put in my mouth, which was concerning. We were given a buffalo chicken flatbread that was swimming in so much hot sauce that we had to wipe some off the top to see, let alone, taste, what was underneath. All we did taste was straight up hot sauce. The Shepherd's Pie was a favorite, but the latest entree was largely cauliflower and broccoli with no green beans and no pan sauce. The vegetables are usually amazing and exactly what is pictured on the menu with green beans -- no broccoli or cauliflower in sight. I don't know if they were trying to cut costs, but the quality of the food just hasn't been the same on our last two visits.

I'm usually wary of ordering oysters during the hotter months, but the recent photos online looked promising, so I decided to order a dozen: half raw and half chargrilled. They were good! However, a couple of the raw oysters were barely a bite, so for the price, I'd definitely choose more grilled oysters--they offered better value in both taste and size. For our entrees, I ordered the LaGarde Smash Burger with Cajun fries, and my boyfriend had the Shrimp PoBoy with Cajun tots. The burger and PoBoy were just okay, but the sides were disappointing. The tots were essentially balls of grease. I know fried food is naturally greasy, but these tasted like straight oil with very little potato left inside, so they may have been overcooked. Of the two, the fries were on the better side. The service, however, was excellent. Everything came out quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, I'd consider coming back for the chargrilled oysters!
