The life guards were lively and fun-had red white and blue hats and girls had sparkles and festive. Each ride my little one went on, they all would cheer and give high 5's! We stayed on the beach part and rented a Palapa. The Palapa gave shade for the entire family (10). All food and snack places open!!! Pizza, ice cream, dip n dots, tiki bars-yes plural, restaurants. Also, restrooms directly behind the Palapas!!!! Mushroom watering were replaced with cool surfboard cool and rinse stations- If that wasnt enough you can hop right behind the rinse stations to Parakeet Springs, which we did a walk through to MANY time to mini water falls-buckets of water (like the mushrooms), sprinklers and plenty of places to cool of. Dynamo swimming complex is just around the corner from my office and offers a wonderful swimming facility to swim at. Hours - I have to say that usually swimming pools have no available open swim hours so they are never convenient to use. No Dynamo. They are usually open for any type of drop in 1030-3pm (330 on some days). That is a ton of time! Facility - is huge! There is a smaller indoor lessons pool (88 degrees) and an indoor competition pool (79-80 degrees) that are always open during open swim. There is also a 50-m long course pool on site that opens seasonally I believe. There are multiple locker rooms with lots of showers and lockers. I think it is a wonderful spot. Cleanliness - The pool is always clean without ever a weird taste of chemicals. The locker rooms are always clean and never cluttered with stray clothes or baskets. Speaking of baskets, I love that they offer baskets for you to place your stuff in. Makes it very accommodating to get in and out of the locker room faster! Misc - There are available pull buoys and kick boards for your to use. There are never a lot of people in the pool when I come at lunch. I have never had to share a lane - once I had the entire competition pool to myself for a whole hour! Staff is always friendly. For a pool facility, I don't know what else you are looking for!

My son swam at Dynamo for three years, and I volunteered as an AO during several home meets. During…read morethat time, I was harassed by a male parent in the parking lot who was driving a blue Jaguar F-Pace SUV. The police were called, but the individual left before officers arrived. I immediately reported the incident to management and was told that several other female parents were familiar with this individual and that previous complaints had been filed. Staff assured me they would investigate the matter and address his threatening behavior. In the days that followed, while our children continued practicing four to six days per week, I observed the same parent continuing to negatively engage with other female parents at the facility with what appeared to be little or no consequence. Although the facility is modern and the coaching staff is skilled, I cannot recommend it based on my experience with its response to patron safety. A strong commitment to the safety and well-being of students, families, coaches, and volunteers should be a top priority, and I did not feel that this concern was handled appropriately.

My team was losing until flip cups lol. We came back and won the battle lol! My husband said he enjoyed it and would do it again & that he had more fun than he expected. That's a win in & of itself! lol Please bring cash or have Cash App to tip your host and game tech advisor person; I forgot the title lol. They make your game show battle experience fun! We played several different games like wheel of fortune, family feud, and price is right. We had so much fun. After the games we returned into the first room and had food. There are also kayak rentals on the river bank below. When we came we hiked the 3/4 mile looped trail behind the playground accessible from the parking lot. There was a bald eagle flying above his beat. Kayakers down below had beached themselves on a sandbar in the middle of the river. A guitarist was jamming and kids were playing in the Sun. Just a picture perfect place to relax and take in the sites.

This park is deceptively huge. It spans 135 acres and dates back to 1954. There is a decent amount…read moreof parking available for visitors. The park is actually two sections, separated by a lake. The park is a nature park has has many picnic tables and shelters, with picnic tables under them scattered on both sides of the park. Some of the picnic tables and shelters are located along the river and provide some panoramic views. The park also features a nice nature trail that is in the wood and pretty well shaded. On one side of the park you will find a small, but newer playground area with percussion instruments, saucer swings, and a couple of slides. It is pretty basic. The other side has a much larger playground. It has a huge play structure that looks like a fort and has a rock climbing wall, slides, and bridges. There is also a pyramid net climber, saucer swings, and toddler swings. The equipment is pretty spread out and in pretty good shape. There is a smaller play structure for little ones which has tunnels, slides, and bridges. You will find rocking animals in that area as well. This side of the park also has a restroom facility. This park is certified as a wildlife habitat and you will see water fowl, geese, beavers and squirrels up close and personal to name just a few animals. Someone was fishing while I was there, but I do not know how good the fishing is, or even if it is allowed. I do not know if it is part of the park, but across the street you will find a huge and amazing baseball complex that looks like it is home to a junior college. It is nice and very well maintained. All in all, this park is decent. It is well maintained and the lake and views are awesome . I will admit that There is not much to offer outside of the trails, shelter, lake, and picnic tables. I like the park, but I was not wow'ed or overwhelmed. The playgrounds are somewhat basic and probably would not holds a kids attention too long. This park would be great for those looking for a nature park.

After ~2 years, I would say that I have been satisfied with my experience about 50% of the time enrolled and I am exploring new options for my children. Reasoning follows: 1. Staffing: constant turnover and short staffing lead inadequate teacher:child ratios. You will end up dropping off/picking up your child from different rooms and different faces frequently. Administration will not communicate staffing changes and deceptively leave up pictures of former staff on classroom boards. 2. Cleanliness: the 1-2 year old classroom has glue coming through the floorboards. It has been 6 months since first reported with no remedy. Do you want your kids crawling on this floor? (See picture). If you open the refrigerators or look in drawers or cabinets, you will be disgusted. Too many of the toys and books in the rooms are in very poor condition. 3. Learning Environment: It is difficult to provide a consistently rich learning environment when constantly short staffed and rotating through new faces. 4. Owner: She is rarely present except for when she is asking you for more money for one of her charitable tax write off initiatives.

In February of this year, my son was enrolled in a different school. During his first week, he got…read moresick, and truly never got better. After two months attending, we found out his hearing was temporarily affected from the fluid in his ears and he was scheduled for tubes surgery. Unfortunately because of the sickness, he only spent two full weeks in school out of the two months period. Before the tubes were even put into place, my son was kicked out of the school with teachers claiming he was possibly autistic and more than they could handle. I came to Goddard Chamblee with paperwork in hand that the previous school handed me with my tail tucked between my legs also terrified that they would agree and turn my son away. After a quick discussion and a glance at the paperwork, they agreed that no child should ever be left behind and that the previous school didn't even give my son a chance. My son has now been enrolled at Goddard Chamblee for two months and has hit more milestones and thriving more than he ever has anywhere else. The teachers are so loving, nurturing, and patient. They work with my son to ensure he's truly a part of the class and I can tell they genuinely care about him. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Goddard Chamblee. And special shoutout to Ms. Wendy who truly makes his classroom seem like home.
