Looking to shoot some pool on a Saturday night, we Yelped around and found Morgan Falls Billiards. It was exactly what we wanted. A pool hall with exemplary service, great prices, fun atmosphere and a clientele that didn't try to shark the amateurs. We played for a couple of hours while watching Game 1 of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Shout out to the bartender who searched the channel guide to find it for us without getting grumbly about it. Mixed feelings amount this place. Nice amount of pool tables and the live band was good, but the music was way way to loud to enjoy, the cigar and cigarette smoke was a horrible and it took a really long time to get a drink from the bar. I met a friend here to shoot pool and it wasn't what I expected. First of all, it smelled like smoke. Which was overwhelming. The waiter wasn't very welcoming and he charged me $4.50 for the ginger beer for my Moscow mule. I didn't understand why I was as paying separately for the ingredients of a cocktail. read more

I love any spot where I don't have to get dressed up or be around pretentious people trying to look cool. MFB fits the bill. There are plenty of pool tables with extra seating around the perimeter and in the middle. The ladies room is super clean. Everyone working behind the bar is super cool and takes good care of you. I like to go early evening (I'm old) when the music isn't too loud and I can still hear my friends talk. Around 10 or 11 the DJ comes on and it gets super loud, which is fine if you are into that sort of thing. I love that the crowd is a mix of black and white folks. Everyone is just there to have a good time. Now let me talk about the star of the show...THE FOOD. Like, you can't believe how tasty everything is. I am embarrassed by how much I love the French fries. I wish I had some right now. This is my new favorite go-to spot for meeting up with my Crew. Can't wait to go back. read more

Brian is incredible. He must be the owner because he truly cares about the happiness of everyone there from his staff to all us patrons. We played pool there last month while I was visiting from California. When I came back a month later he remembered us and had our favorite beverages freshly ordered...diet coke! :) That meant a lot. He is just great. The pool hall is keeping with the new sanitation standards by keeping all the equipment clean and we'll definitely be back!!! They take really good care to keep good equipment in stock. It's easy to find a good cue. So you can tell that this is a point of pride for them. This place is about medium sized, maybe by 15 tables. I have never had to wait to get a table but when they do have a wait it seems to move along pretty quick. The service staff is good about coming around, but if they get busy it's not a big deal to order from the bar. The bar food menu is short but everything they make is good for what it is, and better than i usually get at other bars. The Philly is good, the chicken wings are some of my favorite in the Atlanta metro. On the crispy side rather than soggy, which i like. Chicken is always good quality, and they sauce them well. It almost seems like they decided to have a basic menu of things they're good at making and keep the quality good by keeping it simple. You can smoke here but these days less and less people smoke. I have never felt like it was smokey. If you have a problem with smokey places, this place shouldn't bother you, but please go some place else, you're probably uptight and obnoxious anyways. The atmosphere here is pretty chill, they play classic and moderns hip hop and rap. Some of the employees look like they're hard asses but they're always attentive and friendly when you actually talk to them or need something. If you have a problem with somebody here, you're probably the problem lol. Bottom line: great local place to play pool. Great bar food, chill atmosphere, and plenty of parking. This is one of hubby's and I go to spot for pool. Surprisingly the wings are fire and the burgers are good too. The staff does a great job of keeping the drinks flowin' while you enjoy the music bumping. Hopefully once all is settled with COVID they'll have a DJ. One drawback or a plus depending on who you are, cigar smoking is allowed inside. read more

Never been here before but always lived close. Glad I finally decided to try it out. Super chill environment. Nice staff. I can't find a reason why I would give it any less than 5 stars. It's $10/hr to play pool. It was around 8:30pm on a Saturday night when I came and there were a decent amount of tables open. The bartender CJ took care of us on and off the bar. Baby, this place is on point. I peaced up in this pool hall by accident with some girlfriends from out of town and somehow I ended up showing these broads the time of their life... at a pool hall. Let's get down to brass tacks and call a spade a spade here: Morgan Falls is mostly an "urban" stomping ground, but let's really get real... Who the hell cares? This place has a great atmosphere, where you can just lay back, drink some cheap beer and strong drinks with your people and have a good time. Is there really anything better to do on a Saturday night? The staff was very friendly with lots of smiles and seemed legitimately happy to see people enjoying themselves without causing a complete disruption. Mind you I have only been here once, but it doesn't appear to be a place for adults to act like chumps and ruin your night. Even the patrons were in good spirits, so it obviously made this place even more welcoming. As for the pool, well, the tables are a bit old, but the cue sticks all seemed fairly new. Unless you're trying to pull some Color of Money jazz and really hustle someone like the pool shark you want to be, I don't see where it matters. There's plenty of tables, so I"m positive someone could find a table up to par for all their hustling needs. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out at this particular pool hall, and I will definitely be back next weekend. read more

A friend and I patronaged this pool hall last night. Well, kind of... I walked in and walked out in less than a minute. It was entirely too smoky for me and I couldn't handle it. I smoked 10+ years and hanging out in a smoky place really messes with my throat. Aside from that, there was a full service bar, which is great. It's deceivingly small from the outside. I can say this....top notch customer service! We live in Johns Creek and we have a pool table in our house but to get out and play in another environment does a game good! I had a ball!! They were filming a reality show, but it did not take away from the patrons' experience! Kudos to management and staff! Food is typical bar food, not overpriced but just good and hot! You will not be disappointed when you step in to this place. They have always been above standard before C19 came along. The pool tables and all that comes with is always sanitized. Tables constantly disinfected along with the bathrooms and bar. Always, bomb drinks and good food. My fave is the fried shrimp dinner and the philly. The bread for the philly is too good. My husband and I found ourself wasting away on a Saturday night. It was too late to do anything other than hit a lounge or club, so with the help of Yelp, I found this place. Read the article on someone getting shot in the parking lot and thought "hmmmm...let's just drive by and check it out" lol. There were only a couple of cars in the parking lot, very obvious that it was empty inside. As we walked in, we heard the music, saw the dim lighting. Good so far. Went to bar and ran into someone from my office. Feeling a little better now. At that point we decided everything seemed cool so we ordered a couple of drinks and played pool. - Either the drinks are really strong or the lemonade was left out of my ciroc and lemonade -_- so they must trust everyone here because once we ordered, they gave us the sticks and balls and we were told to pick a table. Mind you - was before giving us the drinks. Instead, the waitress brought them to our table and left. No paying or anything. Apparently you pay once you turn in the equipment, so you basically have a tab open the entire time. Not a problem, just unexpected. The good news is that she constantly checked on us so putting in another order is no problem. - the DJ was cool. He made me feel like it was 2007 and I was back at CAU with all the Atl snap music he was playing lol. A lot of Gucci and other local artist that I know you wouldn't recognize lol I seriously couldn't stop dancing though. - We got there around 10pm and there was only 2 tables in use. Around midnight (yes midnight) almost all of the tables were full. But regardless, it felt really private at the same time. No one bothered us and everyone kept to themselves. - It's definitely a mixed crowd (Don't let the music fool you). And by mixed I mean both race and Pool playing expertise. I noticed a few "Pro's" some "newbies" and the regulars seemed to be at the bar watching tv and talking to the waitress. This seems to be the neighborhood hang out. - didn't try the food but everyone else seemed to be eating wings so I'm assuming they are really good. - oh yeah, you'll leave smelling like cigarette smoke so beware. All in all, this place will be my Nipsey's (from Martin lol). I had fun & we spent less than $30 for over 2hrs of pool and a few drinks. read more

Mmmm.... it's okay.. would have potentially given it 3 stars ( although it's not my "scene") but when I left the car I was parked next too had 4 guys huddled up in it ... a la' half baked. Yea it was pretty hood, Gucci mane, wakka, along with other hardcore rap streamed from the Dj booth. I ended up here on one of those random nights hanging out with friends when someone in the group said "let's go shoot pool!" and we ended up at Morgan Falls Billiards on Roswell Rd (it was near my friend's house). At first glace me and all my whitie friends almost walked back out, but the place had a good vibe to it and seemed inviting enough. The DJ was "spinnin" some good jams from the 90's and today's hits (well as a white girl I knew SOME of the songs). The bartenders were awesome and took care of us. This is my go to place after work. They open at 6:00pm and it's always a good time. The food is surprisingly good. The wings alone would keep me coming back. The staff are always polite and sociable. My husband and I had our first date at this pool hall-so it MUST be magical! Seriously-it is not ritzy and trendy like you might find in a Midtown or Buckhead club. It is a good old, dimly lit, smokey, worn carpeted pool hall. They have bar food (good wings), and a full bar. They have TVs that are usually playing whatever sports game is on. The people that work there are super nice and the owner gives us a big, heart-felt hug and a smile every time we come in.
