I had heard about Battle & Brew for many years, but never got around to actually going. Me, my wife, and our two best friends went one day after dinner. I had an idea of what this place, but wasn't exactly sure what it all entailed. We walked in and were greeted by a large shelf or should I say shelves of a bunch of different board and card games. We walked to the register and told them we wanted to play some board/card games. I believe it was $7 per hour and then $35 for everything else. Everything else means all the video/electronic games. Think PS5, Switch, PC, Xbox. It was sooooo cool seeing everyone play all the different games. There were bigger groups, couples, people by themselves. It's truly a place where anyone can go and have a good time! We got some drinks (they have a really cool cocktail menu). They do have a food menu too, but we just came from dinner, so we only got drinks. Our service wasn't the best though. It took forever for someone to come and check on us, and no one came to fill our water the entire time we were there. Service could definitely be a lot better! Battle & Brew is in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. It's also pretty big too, so there is plenty of seating inside. I would definitely come back here in the future and play some of the video games, as I love to play some Nintendo Switch!

If you're a gamer and haven't been here yet, where have you been?! I finally made it for trivia night and it was genuinely one of our most fun date nights in a while. There's plenty to enjoy no matter when you visit, but if you're going for an actual event, make a reservation through the site because seats fill up fast! Speaking of seats, yes, there's traditional restaurant and bar seating, but then there are also stations with those comfy gaming chairs (one of my favorite things, I swear!). The food was tasty, drinks were great, and I really enjoyed the spirit-free cocktail list too, because I feel like you don't see those enough. My "Kelp Juice" cocktail was spirit free and it was deliciously refreshing. Can't wait to go back!

Very well designed gaming spot! I love the wall murals. They have a large variety of board games on the shelves right when you walk in. There's also video games on the pc or console but that is per hour. We personally game in for the board games (it's $7 for the whole day but used to be $5 before inflation). Still worth it! I haven't heard of most games, but I wish there was a way to recommend some popular games that they should have. I couldn't give it a five stars because one of the games was missing a whopping 14 cards (the odd ones out board games). So I wish they took care of them a bit more or a way for people to let staff know if something is missing or wrong. They have a drink and food menu. The soft serve is unlimited refills. The cocktails have cool names! We got a princess peach which came with edible glitter. I got their battle and brew lager ($3), which was okay it wasn't that smooth. I loved playing their circle of jerks and dim sum game! If they had bobaescapades or some rowdy games like jungle speed, it would've been perfect.

I was truly excited to try this place because it is such a cool concept. Went yesterday for dinner with my husband, daughter, and my friend and her daughter. We opted for the board games for $7 so that we could play together at the table while we ate, which is a great idea in theory but the execution left a lot to be desired. Most of the games we tried to play were old, dirty (yuck), and incomplete. For example, we were unable to play Guess Who because both the red and blue lineups were missing people and many of the people cards were torn into pieces. We were able to play What Do You Meme, but it was obvious that most of the meme cards were missing, so we had to stop abruptly when we ran out of new cards. Since people are eating and playing, effort should be made to keep the games clean, or at the very least, provide hand sanitizer at each table so that guests aren't grossed out about handling dirty game pieces in between grabbing bites of their sandwich or other finger food. I just feel like even though $7 for board game play is reasonable, it felt far less justifiable after experiencing the issues I just explained. If you are going to charge people any amount to use the games, ensuring that those games are complete and sanitary seems like a reasonable expectation. Service was okay but most of the food did not even meet the okay standard. We started with mozerrela sticks, which were okay. The fries with all our meals were obviously the frozen bagged kind you can find at any grocery store. They added seasoning but it's not enough to hide the fact that you are eating frozen fries at a sit down restaurant. My husband ordered the Don't Call It Hotlanta chicken sandwich and I think that was probably the best tasting thing we all ordered. I ordered the ATLA with cheese and did not like it very much. The bread was too crispy, the cheese was cold, and the overall flavor just didn't do it for me. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese with a side of fries. It does say on the menu that it is Kraft mac and cheese. She didn't complain, but she's 12 and not too picky so no surprise there. I had a soda water, my daughter had a sprite, and my husband had two mixed drinks (I think margaritas). Our total bill including the $7 for a crappy board game experience came out to $94 before tip. It was not worth it and I would never return for dinner nor can I recommend that others consider this a worthy dinner spot. Nevertheless, it would be a cool spot to come to with a big group of friends to play the computer and video games while enjoying a few drinks and maybe an appetizer or two. I could see that being a fun experience and would be open to returning to play the video games with friends or maybe one of their event nights like trivia that sounds like a good time, but I won't come back specifically for dinner because there are far better place to get a far superior meal for that price around here. So, at the end of the day, two stars is my review for the dinner and board game experience, but it would probably be closer to a 4 for just video games and drinks or events because I don't think there is anything else like it around here. I am not 100% on pricing for the video games but I think I saw something like $20 per hour, which I think might be a little pricey. However, I am not a big gamer myself so I may not be the best judge of that.

This sandwich was much better than i expected for a gaming spot. Legitimately a really nice lemon pepper flavor and very well cooked, crispy and tender. Fries were good also, and the food came out fast and the service was great. Way better than i expected for a sandwich eating experience at a MTG pre release i would come back just for the sandwich, but the inside of this place is pretty cool

Visited while in town for a concert. It seemed like a good opportunity to check out all the themed cocktails and see what exactly a gaming restaurant looks like. For the first time they explain how things work and the costs. For less than $10 you can play games they have there or spend a bit more to have a digital gaming station. The concept is cool as it making gaming a far more social experience. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was okay, but not as lemon peppery as I hoped and unfortunately my fries were awful maybe over fried or something. My sister's fries were better. Once our food arrived our server did stop by one more time but we didn't see her again. I actually had to track her down to get the check so we could leave. So concept is cool, but the food and service are just kind of okay. I likely won't return on a future trip, but it may be fun for a birthday party.

We had a fun group experience at Battle & Brew! We opted to play board games, and there were many options. There's also an extensive food and drink menu. I had the B&B burger and fries, which were delicious. I love the concept of this place and am so glad we chose it for a night out.

Our server Kevin was so funny and helpful! I love how he took care of us. We came for trivia night (PlayStation) hoping to win free Dreamhack tickets for this year. We did not unfortunately. But the food wasn't bad. I did try the new lemon pepper chicken sandwich and it just wasn't hitting. Too saucy with lemon pepper but also no real taste. The bun was disintegrating as a was eating it . The fries was good and brownie (I had it without ice cream, and stayed long enough to taste a good bit of the menu items). Like my partner enjoyed his sandwich (Dragon). I should've picked something else. They used to have this great curry dish yummmm that was Vegan but it's gone as well as like everything else practically vegan. There is only fried rice with tofu. Yay . The drinks I had was meh. The one-winged angel despite a mocktail tasted better to me than the seasonal potion drink they had. I think sometimes places over do sugar, carbs, and salt (and meat everywhere) thinking it will hit the most, but it just alienates people to me. Battle and Brew is a great nerd cafe for people like my partner and our friends, but the food is becoming a hit or miss more these days...

Clearly TWO chicken breasts on that sandwich. False advertising.

Went with our sons, 31 & 28. They Love games. Cool concept. Thumbs up for having $10 pitchers of your house brew. Where you lost big points with me is charging $14 for a hot chicken sandwich with hardly any coleslaw, barely any spice. The picture on your ad shows a huge sandwich with 2 chicken breasts on it. I only got one. Also lost points on the noise level, all thumpy-thumpy club music, very repetitive. The service was great.

Battle & Brew is such a cool place! They have PC gaming systems, consoles, and board games by the hour, all while you can enjoy food and drinks! They got really cool "potion" drinks. They have the Mana, Health, Stamina and Estus potions. We tried them all and they were actually pretty good and strong. As per food, they got a little bit of everything for bar food. We tried their chicken tenders & tater tots and the chicken is actually pretty good! We sat in couch with the consoles and our orders were taken from here and delivered by our server. I have to say service was pretty slow when they didn't seem as busy. They also took forever to switch out games for us. All in all, cool place to hang out, we'll be back!

I'm visiting Georgia, and my niece and great-nephew suggested we check this place out for some fun. I had a great time -- the atmosphere was lively, family-friendly, and the food was really tasty. We did have to wait a while to be seated, which may have been due to the Sunday crowd. My only critique is the pricing. While everything was good, the total came to nearly $90 for our small group, which felt a bit steep -- especially for a spot that's geared toward families with kids. Just something to keep in mind if you're planning to bring the whole crew. Overall, it was a fun outing and worth trying at least once if you're in the area. Would I go back? Maybe with a coupon!

I've been going here for years and now I conveniently live very close by to it. A nice nerd bar where you can eat, drink and play games. The food is mostly standard bar food but they have some Asian and brunch style dishes as well. They have a fully stock bar and a huge variety of beer and specialty drink offerings and non-alcoholic cocktails too. I don't think I can remember a time where I didn't like the food that I've had but I always seem to get the dragon talons with sweet potato fries or tater tots. The talons are basically massive chicken fingers and I typically get it with either yum yum sauce or the gochujang aioli. They have a pretty nice variety of video games you can play as well that you pay by the hour. Unfortunately they have increased their prices over the years so I don't really come to play games anymore but if you have a group with you, then it's not as bad because you can split the cost. They also offer board games and PC games as well. Come on a Tuesday for half off games. Overall one of my favorite bars in the area and will definitely return.

Now if you flip it over the wine list is extensive or decently extensive considering the fact that it's not a winery but you have a massive amount of options . Last time I was there I sat at the bar and Rob was super cool and really gave great customer service. No complaints about that . Brooklyn favorite Reuben - the Reuben was a really good sandwich. It came hot with melted cheese on there and sauerkraut and it was a hit. It came with fries but you can actually get a different side if you want. The Reuben sandwich was very good and very filling. It wasn't overly stacked like I'm used to back where I'm from but at the same time they definitely put a nice amount of meat on there so you won't be hungry after you finish. Avocado egg rolls - I tried the avocado egg rolls and they were okay but it's not my cup of tea. Personally I don't actually like avocado and it was pretty much 90% avocado inside there. At the same time it wasn't bad. If you like avocados then this is really gonna be your bag. It comes with a really sweet, maybe a teriyaki kind of sauce, but it's actually good and it helped. I'm just not a fan of that so I can't take that away from them. Lobster bisque - the Lobster Bites were okay. It tasted just like it was supposed to. It was still very lobstery and creamy so I have to give them that. It was pretty good. I only had a little bit but at the same time I thought it was good for what it was. I was charged an extra .50 cents for the tenders to be tossed in buffalo sauce but the sauce tasted too sweet and only had the faintest hint of background heat, not even zing. The fries were soggy and lukewarm but I am willing to give this place the benefit of the doubt given that the order must have been waiting longer than expected but still, I seldom have soggy crinkle fries on a DoorDash order. I was let down and surprised as well because I had their burgers before and they were very good! Also, the subtotal 17.50 before the tip! Brandon recommended the chargrilled oysters, and they were phenomenal. He also provided hot towel service, which was such a thoughtful touch and something you rarely experience these days. We ordered the surf and turf to share, and he took the liberty of having it split for us without us even asking. That level of attention to detail made the entire experience feel effortless. To top it off, Manager Darius stopped by to personally check on us and ensure everything was perfect. That kind of leadership and hospitality speaks volumes about the culture of this restaurant. I typically visit a different C&S location, but after this experience, I will absolutely be coming back to Sandy Springs. Brandon and Darius made our evening memorable. If you're anywhere in the Atlanta area, do yourself a favor and visit this location. It's small, quaint, intimate, and the service is truly top-tier. Highly recommended!

Birthday dinner for my mom, twin sis and I. I love seafood so I'm always down for a seafood…read morerestraints. The menu is filled with a lot of items that I enjoyed especially the shrimp dishes. I had the shrimp cocktail, Rockefeller oysters, and jumbo shrimp. Overall this place was nicely maintained with white clothes tables, waiters/waitress dressed very weak and knew the menu up and down. Full bar and they threw in complimentary birthday desserts.
