I really do love their dry, spicy breaded, and fried-crispy jumbo wings.

Mr. Cue's never fails to deliver fantastic wings with a laid-back, chill environment, and plenty of fun. Ever since they stopped allowing smoking inside, it's been SO MUCH BETTER. Despite having been around since before I was and having the run-down look to prove it, Mr. Cue's remains the best billiards within AT LEAST a 5 mile radius. I also don't know of any other billiards places. I attempted to order by phone for a to-go order, but it seems they stopped taking orders over the phone. It would seem that too many people didn't pick up on time. I ended up walking in and ordering and coming back within less than 10 minutes (during peak hours) and my order was ready. However, I'm here to tell you that if you want wings that are nice and spicy, but not too hot, Mr. Cue's is always bringing the good game- (pun intended). I was disappointed to see that they're still using buttermilk ranch, but you can get bleu cheese instead and it's pretty good. Tonight, I did a little taste-testing and ordered the same things from 3 different places. The results: Three Dollar Cafe wins the ranch and lemon pepper wings (dry and wet) contest. Mr. Cue's wins the crunchy and spicy wings contest. I really do love their dry, spicy breaded, and fried-crispy jumbo wings. I've been coming here since I was in college and I hope they'll always remain a local fixture. I will continue to offer my patronage to their humble establishment.

What would have been a five star review is now knocked down and it's too bad because this was definitely becoming the spot for my dad, brother and friends to play at. The tables are great here, they keep them up because of all the tournament play that happens here. Fair pricing. There's a lot of action toward the evening hours. The wings are surprisingly good for a pool hall, better than some pizza places I've had. They have a jukebox if you feel like being DJ. I had some good songs going that people were vibing out too, So far this place was winning. And then the manager or whoever he was said we had to pack it in because suddenly a league game was about to start. We had started to settle in: a second pitcher was already ordered, we had barley gotten our wings order for the table, and we had a tab running and now we were hurried out there. There was no guarantee of a new table but the league suddenly needed this table to start. It would have been cool if before we ordered our food and second pitcher they would have told us not to because of an impending league game instead of being told to give up our table. It's kind of off putting this happened as we were happy paying customers. Bad communication and a lack of transparency really clouded this experience here. Not protesting the league play at all, it is what it is, but let your patrons know they pay for a table. We weren't even in the special section of the pool hall for league play. By the time my brother and I could try to question what was going on and who to further talk to my pops was already packing up ready to leave to avoid conflict and close out the tab. So out of respect we cashed out, but here's the kicker in all this. We stayed 30 minutes after to finish our pitcher (my dad doesn't drink) and wings and we saw no "league" players claim the table or any type of structure associated with this "league" game beginning. We could have gotten two to three more games at least in and finished up. Just a little suspect there and really Bad communication from the pool hall management and in the meantime the Vibe was completely ruined for us and we couldn't finish our games. We had our own tournament going ourselves. If my pops wasn't there, we definitely would have contested what was going on and to try and remedy the situation as patrons just wanting to have a good time out. We want to come back, we all like the place, we thought we came at a good time to play, I guess not.

My husband an I we really enjoyed ourselves

Great place to play pool it was no smoking due to the pandemic people was 6 feet apart they made sure music was playing food was great the people was very kind the food was hot straight out the air fryer the wings was everything if you go it's a must try enjoy

I had a good time at Mr. Cue's. The pool hall is pretty big with about 40 tables. For some reason, I expected the atmosphere to be like the 1989 Patrick Swayze movie "Road House" (loud and smoky), but the environment actually turned out to be pretty chill and I liked that. It was still smoky, though, and while smoke doesn't bother me, I don't like leaving a place smelling like it. My friends and I came here to shoot pool on a Friday night and I believe tables were $10 per hour. Since it was a weekend night, this was the highest rate. If you come during non-peak times, the price is lower. All of the tables, balls, and sticks were in good condition. Mr. Cue's also has a snooker table and a 3-cushion table. The employees are friendly, from the bouncer to the girls working the bar. Drinks and bar food are reasonably priced (e.g. $8 for one pitcher of beer, $1.75 for a soda). If you want to take a break from shooting pool, there's a dart board, shuffleboard, and some arcade games in the back. Located in the same shopping center as Kroger, Mr. Cue's is open late, until 3am and 4am on some nights. The hall is 18 and up only, and they will check your ID at the door.

this is the rude employee that should just be fired or is just plain racist.

Atrocious experience this Saturday 4/25/26…read more We were actually over at sweet hut around 9pm and decided to check out Sapphire Karaoke since they were close by. At 9:26pm, we sent 2 people from our group of 6 to go by Sapphire to see if they had availability for us. The manager told them "yes, we will have a room in 5 minutes" so the rest of our group showed up excited and ready to karaoke. We waiting patiently 10-15 minutes and the manager came by again with "I'm sorry but someone messed up reservations and we won't have a room until 10pm". It was 9:44 pm at this point. The manager could tell we were about to leave and she comes back and says "oh good news, this group is checking out now. I'll have a room ready in 10 minutes". 2 from our group couldn't wait longer so they left. The rest of us decided to wait and got 2 bottles of Soju. It's $15 a bottle and THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A NON OPTIONAL GRATUITY so keep that in mind if you want to leave a tip, it's additional. Our total for the soju ended up averaging $20 a bottle. I asked the manager at 10pm what's going on and she just cuts me off and keeps walking with a "hold on". 10:15pm rolls around and the manager was no where to be seen. At this point we have been waiting 45 minutes with no updates when the original wait quote was FIVE minutes. We saw 3-4 parties come in and get seated. I'm not sure what kind of business they're trying to run but we sure felt BAMBOOZLED out of $50 for 2 bottles of soju and wasted 45 minutes of our time. They clearly have to figure out their scheduling/reservation system if the staff are making multiple errors. Don't lie to patrons that you have a room available when you don't. This felt like the equivalent of an overbooked/oversold flight and they were hoping they could get more clients to cover no shows- at least be honest and say we were on a waitlist.

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.

But this place seemed rather cheap for the fruit tray, x4 munchie food selections (duck feet, liver item of sorts (?), sunflower seed, and peanuts), and a dozen beer in a medium sized room. I guess you pay according to the room size and amenities? The lights and design of this place makes it super flashy and sort of trippy at times. See my pictures! Ooh. Forgot to mention the private bathroom was nice. Also, the ability to search for recent songs (recent as in still playing on major radio stations recent) and have the ability to see the original music videos were amazing. Now mind you not all songs were available nor were the original music videos. But I can't ever remember a time where I was wow'ed by the song selection and actually sing as much as I ever did. This new music spot is definitely fun and reasonably priced once you do the split with a bunch of folks. It's also a little different as it's Chinese owned whereas most other places are Korean.

This trip was actually our first time visiting without him so we were a little lost about what to do next. LOL. We had gone to a cafe earlier in the day but it was still too early for dinner so we kept searching for something interesting to do. That's when my husband found Distillery of Modern Art. I wasn't really in the mood for drinking during the day so I wasn't sure at first but I'm so glad we went! We had never heard of a combination of a distillery and an art gallery before which immediately caught our attention. It looked like the space is used for a variety of events as well. Since we visited during Mother's Day weekend, there was a flower arrangement workshop happening in one of the rooms when we arrived. The bar area was very spacious with plenty of seating and since it was our first visit, we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different liquors they produce. My husband sampled their rye whiskey, gin, and Amaro Peach. I'm usually not much of a gin fan but theirs was exceptionally smooth and I actually enjoyed it. Amaro tends to be quite bitter but their Amaro Peach had a really nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. I ordered the Ocean Eyes cocktail which features their Amaro Peach and it was excellent. The bartender also made his own special version of a classic cocktail for my husband (I forgot the name!) and he really enjoyed it. What stood out most was how friendly and passionate the bartender was. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and honestly, he made the experience even more enjoyable for us. We had such a great visit that my husband ended up bringing home bottles of their gin and Amaro Peach. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Atlanta!
