First off, if you are a part of the minority please reconsider (despite who will be taking your order at the bar for sure). The drinks aren't cheap and the service is not it. You will OBVIOUSLY be seen as an "outsider" and will be treated as such. If you are of the minority population please be ready to WAIT and be disregarded until the majority has been served/tended to. The food was good though *shrugs*. Won't be back. I HIGHLY suggest treating the minority population with a better and warmer regard as patrons. I gave 1 star for the food. The owner is all about catering to acholic she is Ethiopian i am not discriminating. If you are not a regular that come in everyday to pour down liquor. The customer service suck. Don't go in on the weekend you got a bartender that has been reported so much name Mary Beth. She definitely need to be gone. The owner disregard everybody complaints. Whites not allowed. I walked in for the first time on 5/28/24 around 9pm after hanging out at my favorite bar next door. I was the only white person which didn't bother me, but after standing at the bar clearly trying to get a drink by just making eye contact with a smile on my face, the bartender looked over at me with a big frown on her face and walked to the opposite end of the bar and put her back to me. She was not busy. No one else was ordering drinks. It was obvious what she was saying. No whites allowed. I had no choice but to turn around and leave because I was clearly not getting served. It's not surprising because we all know where the REAL racism lies nowadays. At my favorite bar next door it is mostly white but there are probably 20% black patrons and everyone is nice to each other. All of this is obvious though and no surprise. read more

Honestly the best bar in Tucker (and, dare I say, metro Atlanta). I'm from the midwest so I love a good dive bar and Atlanta is severely lacking in that department. When we moved to Tucker, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that there were not one, but two great dive bars in our town. Bonus points because they're right next to each other. We absolutely love Billy Bob's. The service is unmatched. Everyone is always happy to see you, we always make friends, and we truly feel like locals at this neighborhood bar. Touch Tunes is always going so you can play the music you like and the vibe changes depending on who's in there, which is fun. Drinks are cheap (and strong) and there's always a game on. Every bartender has their own personality but looks out for the regulars and couldn't be nicer (even if it's in their own roundabout way). The food is also shockingly good! We came one night when I picked my mom up from the airport since there were few late night options. We shared a plate of nachos and they were super fresh. When we mentioned how good the diced tomato was, we were told they buy their produce down the street at Sherry's. Love local supporting local, and it makes a difference in food quality! If you can get past the smokiness, this is the place to be. Plus, major kudos for requiring proof of vaccination to enter and supporting BLM. read more

After ignoring me, he just told me that I was watching my game elsewhere. After finishing my game, his wife said he had left. I politely told her I wanted to tell him why I couldn't come back. Billy Bobs was recommended to me from another bartender. The place is dim, smokers haven , Tv's everywhere and computer chairs to seat in. The bartender and other staff were nice to me and made me feel welcome. It seems like everyone know each other in this place. They stay open late and the prices are right. This isn't a dress up spot. This place is a nightmare. We came in to have a few drinks not knowing what this place was and there was about 5-6 senior citizens sitting motionless around the bar watching the tv. You could hear a pin drop in this place it was so quiet. My girlfriend and I were literally texting each other at the bar to avoid being the only ones talking. A few of the patrons gave us disapproving sneers and the bar tender was incredibly dense since we had to explain 3-4 times that we wanted 2 miller lites. She acted like we were asking her to explain the meaning of life. To make things more awkward, the drunk guy next to us asked the bar tender a question that seemed to offend her and she snapped back. The first time I walked into Billy Bob's I was a bit terrified. It struck me as the sort of bar that used to give the old hippie me a hard time. But I no longer have long hair, reak of dope, and play Dark Star on jukeboxes. So Billy Bob's felt safe and warm and had icy cold Miller High Lifes. I moved less than a block away and it has become my local bar at this point. The drinks are always strong thanks to Jan behind the bar. The jukebox always plays something I like thanks to regulars like Christian. And the people are all kind and welcoming. Being a relatively new non-smoker (about a year at this point) makes it a bit difficult to visit too often because Billy Bob's makes me want to chain smoke and drink whiskey. Not their fault at all, simply a flaw in my own character. read more

Billy Bob's in Tucker offers good bar food at reasonable prices and strong drinks for working folks. The decor is a little dated but the friendliness of both the staff and patrons more than makes up for any shortcomings. Burgers are really large, wings are crisp and the steaks are quite good. I love Billy Bob's! A friend took me here a few years ago and I've loved it ever since. The food is always really good, (Burgers here are the best!) and the drink prices are really low. Even though Billy Bob's has an incredible juke box and huge flat screen TV's all over the place, it's cozy quiet which I like since I hate noisy sports bars. The food here is always consistently good, unlike most bars which serve boring "bar food". I had the most delicious Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, green beans and cornbread the other night. Try the daily specials if you're not in the mood for one of their great burgers. Most importantly, the drinks at Billy Bob's are strong and cheap! Be prepared for a smoking bar which I am glad still exists, even though I am not a smoker. My favorite part of Billy Bob's is the people; the regulars who come to Billy Bob's and the ones happy to serve you. It's so refreshing to have such sweet and friendly people treat you like family.
