Born and raised on the east side, I know the best lounges are the ones with free parking, good music, solid drinks, and a grown folks vibe. Zanza gave just that. As soon as I walked in, I could tell the crowd was a little older and I was probably the youngest in there, but the energy was everything. The DJ was hittin' with a little bit of everything: Boots on the Ground, Just Kick It and Beef It Up...all the classics that get the whole room moving. I didn't eat this time (I've heard the wings are fire), but I did order a Sidecar. The bartender had to check the recipe real quick, but she still came through with a smooth, strong cocktail that hit the spot. Friend had a bday party here , kind of small but large bar area wait staff was friendly music was a mixture if old school r n b and like 70s soul /rnb. Def grown and sexy crowd. My friend package included food it was supposed to come out at 930 but it was an hour late. It was good though. Meatballs were great , wings , pasta salad and fruit tray. Idk why it was late if they knew a party was there. So he played a bday song , but was hoping we could get on the mic abd actually sing happy bday to cut the cake - idk the exchange but he wouldn't let her on the mic , but shouted out some other girl at the bar it was her bday. Where do I begin? The location is decent the crowd was great, but the service was the most diabolical nastiest I've ever seen in my life. We ordered two sets of wings, a burger, and a pizza. First off the pizza was mediocre after waiting 45 minutes for our order she comes out to say that there was no pepperoni. OK put extra meat in it (another 20 mins) everything came out. One set of wings was good. The other was burnt. She asked what did I wanna do "do you wanna take it off. I said no I just wanna fix this order, OK. After about 20 minutes, they come back and say oh there was no winglets and we have to do whole pieces. OK that's fine after another 30 minutes for some replacement wings they come back. Now I'm shorted 2 wings which would've made my 10 piece wing. She says oh the whole Wings cost more OK that's not my fault that you had to replace my wings then Monique catches an attitude and says "what do you want me to do?" After sitting through a boring movie, I found myself at Zanza after a suggestion from my friend. Yes, it's a hole in the wall club. It reminds me off a cross between Tanquaray and Bigelows. It's not a large place, but it will do. The music is alright, but the drinks are what keep you there. Ciroc was $7. Almost everything else in the city is $10. They also have regular bar food if you're interested. I consider myself very versatile so I would go back to chill. Make sure when you go to leave your expectations at the door. read more

I went to Zanza last night 2-14-20 and the bartender Monique was straight garbage. I ordered my food and waited ...i'm not .TWO HOURS for my to go order to come out. I did order two glasses of wine not at the same time. I kept asking Monique what's up with my food i'm hungry. Hell it's Valentines Day and I choose to go there instead of places I would normally go to for live music. I must say I've been to this places many times and I like to support a Black Owned Biz...but I won't EVERRRRR go back there again. If they want to stay in biz they need to get rid of Monique flat ass. When the man came out from the kitchen and told me that he was gonna comp my bill I said ok, Thanks... Monique brought her dumb ass over to me with a bill saying oh you gotta pay for the two drinks. Can yall believe she was tripping about $ 10.00. I gave her ONLY... $ 10.00 CASH and No damn tip.
