Fabulous bookstore and more! Came here with a friend for a happy hour brew and some reading time. They didn't have one of the books I was looking for, but recommended another that I'm very excited about. If you're looking for a place to hangout and read, delicious homemade cookies, or a solid book recommendations, go here!

    Quiet table in front.

Smooth on the spoon with that soft creamy finish that makes soup feel a little luxurious instead of just warm. The feta on top cut through it nicely. Salty. Tangy. A little flash of brightness in every bite. It gave comfort with some polish. Like rainy day food that still has good posture. The almond croissant was the one. Golden edges. A soft shatter on the outside. Then that dense almond center that lands sweet, nutty, and almost plush. The powdered sugar on top made it feel a little extra in the best way. Not too precious. Not too sugary. Just enough to make it feel bakery serious. The kind of pastry that makes you pause after the first bite because now everybody else at the table wants some. The tea was better than good. Clean. Smooth. Calming in a way that made everything else settle into place. It felt intentional. Not an afterthought. Definitely the standout and the easiest thing to come back for. Forgot her name, but the woman helping me order was a lifesaver. Honest. Adorable. Knew how to guide without hovering. Gave the kind of recommendation you trust immediately. The room had that easy café buzz. Warm lighting. People lingering. Felt relaxed without losing its shape. it's giving... quiet luxury brunch energy due to the vibe she gave. Coming back.

The only available slot was from 6:30-8:00, and as long as we arrived on time, they'd seat us. We got there around 6:45 and had already looked over the menu on the way, so as soon as we sat down, we placed our entire order. The ambiance and decor were very nice and chill. It was a little loud, but we could still hear each other comfortably. We started with the sangria flight -- fruity and delicious. Our first appetizer was the papas bravas, crispy with just the right amount of spice. We also had the beef empanadas with chimichurri sauce, which were excellent. Next were the steak skewers, seasoned to perfection (though I do wish they offered a choice of cooking temperature). The octopus was my favorite -- char-grilled, tender, and full of flavor. We also tried the mac and cheese. It came out a little loose at first, but after sitting for a bit, it had a nice bite, especially with the chorizo. We finished with the shrimp in garlic butter and crostinis -- flavorful, garlicky, and one of our favorites of the night. Overall, this is one of the best tapas spots we've had in or around Atlanta. It's definitely our new favorite -- even over some of the local favorites in Decatur.

Everyone was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing, truly 5-stars quality across the board. The smoked filet was phenomenal, and the craft cocktails, white sangria, and wine selection were all excellent. Even though there wasn't a children's menu, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our kids were taken care of. The chef even prepared special dishes just for them, which we truly appreciated. I can't say enough about how thoughtful and accommodating the entire team was. They just slide a menu in front of you as a gesture - you read it if you want to know. I can't see the small print on these menus to save my life lol I invited a industry colleague for a business dinner Ok, food review they offer an oxtail protein in the collard greens "Yummy" however I didn't find oxtail in the collard greens anywhere. My guest ordered some cwing dinner that looked like a contraption. As far as the presentation was delivered. I wanted to also make sure management was there. An older caucasian woman greets me well we have a cordial conversation about my previous experience and my embarrassment at such a nice looking restaurant She was unable to believe this happened at her restaurant. Just plain disbelief and raved about the kitchen and pride that goes into her food to later having to eat those words Again, limited menu what is up with the 4-5 items to chose from. I donot eat steak fries So I just ordered the burger - medium well - not burned and it had no venison mixed or blended meat added The burger came out with old brown tarnished lettuce I sent it back for fresh lettuce . She brought it back they added thousand island dressing when I specially asked for mayo on the side which was also provided. What is going on in the kitchen I took a bittersweet bite anyways and spat it out. Took my utensils which looks like a switch blade in a fairly nice restaurant. bad esthetics decisions I knifed out The center of the uncooked raw meat of the burger and waited patiently for the nice lady to find her way back over to me I offered to just pay and leave. They have an incredible Gluten Free selection, which is not why we went, but I noted that if you were GF, this would be your heaven-on-earth. Everyone in my group of 5 got something different but loved it just to same. Fun fact: there's a hidden speakeasy inside the restaurant you should try out before/ after/ in lieu of dinner in the main restaurant. This place is EXCELLENT! Can't wait to return now.

Bonus PSA: Chamblee has an open container law, so you can walk around with your drink and bop to other nearby spots with ease. Love that
