Was excited to try Bad Daddy's. The place was poppin' on a Saturday evening, but wait wasn't bad for a table of 4. Plus, they have cornholes available while you wait. The restaurant is pretty big, with plenty of seating indoor and out. Once seated, it didn't take us long to decide what to order. We ordered: The Frenchie with sweet potato fries BYOB bunless with fries BYOB with onion rings Sliders (with no onions) The food was fresh and flavorful. We really enjoyed it. Our food came out exactly as ordered. So why the three stars? The. Food. Took. Too. Long. I try to be patient and understanding, especially on a weekend lunch or dinner rush, but we waited at least 30 minutes for the food.. We devoured our burgers as soon as the server brought them. There wasn't really an explanation either. However, our server was pleasant and friendly throughout the evening. Definitely going again. The food was really good and fresh. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Burger w/ sweet potato fries. Let's just say, it didn't stand a chance. It was really good. I got my toddler chicken fingers w/fries and side of broccoli. Although she didn't like the broccoli because of the seasoning, but I enjoyed it. It was a little heavy on the black pepper though, so I'll jus tell them no pepper the next time. The server was very attentive. We were outside and I enjoyed my view. The table wasn't wobbly either!! First, I would like to say I am more inclined to give this place another go given the customer service aspect. The young lady at the bar who assisted me with my take out order was very lovely. I recently moved to the area and my first night in, I went here for take out. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger which is my go to type of burger when visiting a burger spot. I would have to say it was just okay. I didn't like how thick the burger was, nor the fries. For the amount you pay for the fries, there weren't too many to actually enjoy. I would like to suggest the establishment get other take out containers as well, because due to the plastic container, the condensation from the heat makes the fries a bit moist by the time you arrive home to enjoy them. read more

I found Bad Daddy's Burger Bar through a Google search today and am I glad I did. My daughter and I stopped in for an early lunch and we were both blown away by the friendly bartender and the manager. I ordered the Nick's patty melt with the homemade potato chips. Both were delicious. The patty melt was great and maybe the best I've ever had. My daughter had the Daddy's Philly and she was equally impressed. Have you ever thought you were introducing something new to a kid and you're instantly hit with the I did that already? Well this is exactly what happened to me when I suggested trying Bad Daddys to my nephew this past weekend. In fact, he highly recommended we stop in for burgers over any of the other area establishments and I couldn't agree with him more. Bad Daddy's is located in a newer complex with housing and other businesses and is directly across the street from Walmart. It is less than five minutes away from Oglethorpe University. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. We arrived well after traditional lunch hours, but there was a pretty heavy crowd. Despite the crowd size, we were seated within a minute or two of arriving. The portion sizes are extremely filling even for the heartiest appetite and the price point is about $10-$16 per entrée. We tried the Philly themed specialty burger, party melt on Texas toast, a BYO (build your own) burger, bacon queso appetizer, onion rings, coleslaw, truffle fries and housemade lemonade. All of the items were smash hits at our table even though the timing of the appetizer was rather close to the delivery of the burgers which took 20 minutes and the fried buttermilk garlic bacon was left out one of the burgers by mistake. In each instance our server did apologize, and we simply chalked it up to the crowd size and honest error. If you order a beer like Budweiser, it is served in a 24 ounce can like the tall cans sold in neighborhood convenience stores and are often placed in a paper bag. While I am no beer drinker by any stretch of the imagination, an oversized beer can at a specialty burger establishment was quite a surprise. read more

Walked in and was greeted by the cool hostess and seated pretty quickly. The bar is in the center of the restaurant and they have fast screens with sports and reality tv shows playing. It was pretty packed a lot of movement going on. So we sat down grabbed a menu and now the decision of what to eat or should I say what burger shall I build to eat? So they have burgers already built for you or you can grab a pencil and proceed to build the burger of your dreams! I choose to build my burger of course! So we ordered drink first the wife had FRESH made strawberry lemonade I had a beer and two waters. Few minutes later waitress returned we put our orders in well I put mine in first and my wife did hers a few minutes later which caused some confusion because I thought the waitrees would have waited to put both orders in at the same time. But she didn't and my food came out first. Now the food did take longer then normal and the waitress could have kept us updated but she didn't. So when my burger arrives it looks great! But I look closer and there is NO CHEESE! NO CHEESE! NOOOOOOOOOOOO CHEEEEEEEESE! The entire Bad Daddy's stopped as I screamed this at the top of my lungs!! Just kidding I screamed in my mind lol. So I told the waitress they forgot the cheese and she said no problem I;ll get you some and she brought me 2 slices of cold homemade cheese which is good but would have been better melted on my turkey burger! So since I'm a nice guy I took the cheese and put it on burger and since the burger was piping hot and heat makes cheese melt BOOM melted cheese I now have! Burger was very very good juicy and full of flavor ( see my pics for my creation and feel free to copy it) I skipped the fries and went with fruit salad because summer is coming! I would put their turkey burger on my top 10 list in GA. So for the minor hiccup with the cheese and service could be quicker food is very good and the craft beer selections and fresh lemonade puts Bad Daddy in a good place. I went to Bad Daddy's on a Thursday afternoon. I'd been wanting to try them out and since I was in the area grocery shopping, I decided to go for it. I placed an order online which was easy, but given their extensive menu with so many options to add items to your burger, it was almost overwhelming. I successfully placed my order online and started heading in that direction as it said my order would be ready in about 20 minutes. Since I was just down the street, I got there in no time. Due to COVID-19, the dining area was closed and all patio tables were off limits, so customers had to walk up to their patio bar area to pick up any orders. When I walked up, someone greeted me and said my order was finishing up. I waited about 5 minutes or so and was given my order of fried pickles, a create-your-own burger, and sweet potato fries. I got home and began to eat my food and the fried pickles and homemade ranch were sooooo good! The sweet potato fries and chipotle ranch dipping sauce were super yummy too...the flavor combo of the two was perfect. The burger, however, was a little weird lol. The patty's shape was kinda weird to me and it didn't have much flavor. I opted for their homemade American cheese as well as jalapeño bacon. The homemade cheese was interesting, but was quite tangy and made the sandwich very messy. The jalapeño bacon's flavor was good, but it wasn't crispy at all, so that kinda turned me off. Having a long layover at PDK, a burger joint was exactly what we wanted. The location is very convenient to Signature so it was a quick hop over to this new area of restaurants. We were promptly greeted and they had a table quickly ready for us. Our waiter was very helpful and explained how everything works. We opted for a create a burger which lets you fill out a paper at the table selecting every detail of your dream burger. This includes everything from your basic ketchup and mustard to peanut butter and pineapple. The burger I created was very tasty and prepared just how I requested. I wasn't a huge fan of the fries because they weren't very crispy but they weren't horrible. The atmosphere is a higher end chain vibe with large TVs throughout the dining room and bar. Juicy, wonderful flavor, the same size as the bun (isn't it so annoying when there's way too much bun?), the toppings are fresh and delicious. Bad Daddy's is a good franchise and it fits right in to the Chamblee scene. Stopped by the restaurant today to catch up with an old co-worker. Kept it simple with a spirit and some wings. Got a Moscow Mule for $7 and the were less than $10 (for the appetizer portion - which was plenty). Wings also came with celery and your choice of ranch/blue cheese; I got the blue cheese which was delicious. My friend decided on the chili bowl and said it was bomb (real good, not too salty). Got to Bad Daddy's around 4 pm and the crowd was just assembling for the evening. So there was plenty of seating and a full bar to choose from. Staff was polite and ready to serve. Great view of Peachtree Blvd and Waffle House across the street. Bad Daddy's is situated in the new development across from Waffle House. Parking was easy enough in the development. Some of the spots were labeled with 2 hour limits, but there wasn't a big crowd on this Thursday evening at 4pm. I came here for lunch because I heard its the best burgers in town. LOL I tried their Bacon Cheese Burger on Steroids with sweet potato fries. I will say this, you need some deep pockets when dining here as most burgers are above $10 price range. My meal was like $13.95. And it's also like 2,000 calories. I basically have an entire day's meal is this one burger alone. Service was great. Burger was juicy and had tons of bacon. I wish the price was a little lower but I guess you get what you pay for. This is basically the Louis Vuitton of burgers. If your in the Chamblee area, I highly recommend you come by and try this place. Sitting in one of the newest complexes in Chamblee at the cross section of Peachtree Road and Clairmont consisting of several other little shops, apartments and a CHOA location is Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. It is not a very large place, but it what it lacks in size it makes up for in energy, food choice and drink selection! I have been a couple of times since opening with one time on the patio and the other at a high top in the bar area. Both have been pleasant experiences that came with no real downsides to where we sat. If you are outside and it is chilly, they have heaters on the canopy to keep you warm and toasty, which is a nice touch when its a little cold outside, so the wait inside is insanely long! Which brings me to my next point - be prepared to wait here! Both times I have gone there has a been a wait of some kind. They are pretty good at getting people in and out, but still a wait is almost inevitable at this place - but again, totally worth it! They have a well put together menu consisting of a few appetizers, some sides, salads, pre-created burgers and some other sandwich options. Their big plus and claim to fame is the "Create Your Own" option which you can do for a salad or a burger! I have not gone for the salad, so I cannot speak to what is on this list, but the burgers, which is my go-to option here, gives you plenty of options from the type of protein, type of bread, cheese, condiments and even a solid list of "extras" such as house made sauces and specialist bacon. I usually piece mine together and each time they have turned our really well, with this past time being a beef burger with bacon mayo, bad daddies sauce, jalapeno bacon on toast. It was devine! And...I had it sided with their buffalo tots, which are tots drenched in buffalo sauce and topped with blue cheese crumbles. They are excellent, however I will tell them to go lighter on the sauce and more on the blue cheese next time I get them. My friend and I were at the office, and as we usually do, going through a list of places we wanted to go try out. He picked this restaurant and when I was doing my research almost immediately knew I wanted to go. When we arrive I notice how packed it was, however we were still seated quickly and a waiter promptly asks us what we would like to drink. Combing through the easy-to-read menu we selected our burgers and an appetizer. For the appetizer we selected the devil eggs which came out in an acceptable amount of time and was prepared fried with a jalapeño on top of it. You could tell it was cooked fresh, it was crispy and tasted delightful. It had an interesting texture between the fried eggs, the filling and the spiciness of the jalapeño. We enjoyed it. For the burger I selected the smokehouse and requested it medium rare with a side of tater tots. It came out just at the right amount of time after the appetizer. It's presentation was simple yet everything. The burger itself was just perfectly done, one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The burger was juicy and flavorful. So good in fact it inspired me to write this review. Been to Bad Daddy's multiple times. Somewhat of a newer local establishment that always manages a decent crowd and good food. Great for group outings as they've always been able to support larger groups that just drop in. Food overall is good, but not distinguishable against other burger joints. They do give nutritional information on their menus which is helpful and they have other protein options besides beef patties which is helpful to those of us on special diets. Only negatives from this most recent visit were soggy/overly salty fried pickles and the food wait time was over 30 minutes for two simple burger/fries orders. Never had a bad experience here. I saw a place called Bad Daddy's Burger one day when driving by. As someone who loves burgers, I knew I would have to visit this place one day. Date night seemed to be a good time and they did NOT disappoint. The outdoor area is very nice. They offer warmers and flat screen television. The menu honestly consists of way too many options for just one visit. Immediately after 5 minutes of looking, I knew I'd have to come back. A few items that caught my eye were the Bad Ass Burger, Pittsburgher, Daddy's Philly, and the Buffalo Chicken. Alas, I went with the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids ($13.95). According to the menu, it comes with Monterey Jack cheese, three pieces of jalapeño bacon, three pieces of applewood smoked bacon, housemade bacon mayo, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato (hold that), red onion, and pickles. I can't even really begin to describe how good this burger was. The juiciness of the burger mixed with two types of flavored bacon is everything my stomach and tastebuds set out for. The burgers also comes with a side choice of fries, tater tots, sweet potato fries, housemade potato chips, house slaw, and fresh fruit. I had been eyeing the tater tots on other Yelp reviews and they looked really good, so I got those. Glad I did. I also appreciated that unlike most places, Bad Daddy's doesn't charge you for refills when it comes to specialty lemonades. I ordered a strawberry lemonade, which was on point. While trying to find some place nearby that was unique, I came across Bad Daddy's. I decided to give it a try due to its stellar reviews. I sat at the bar and my order was quickly taken. I had the magic mushroom burger, and it was delicious. The fries were decent, but I came for the burger. The bartender made sure I was taken care of, even though I wasn't drinking. There isn't much parking, due to all of the nearby businesses, which share the parking lot. And this place is PACKED, so you may want to get there early. But it was definitely worth it. We live nearby and frequently dine in at Bad Daddys as well as order through Doordash. Overall, the food is great and my husband and I have our regular go-to meals. I usually order the Black Bean Burger. The fried is my favorite but the other grilled option is also good. My husband orders the Bacon Cheeseburger every time. The service has been hit or miss dining in. The last time we were in the place was not busy but our server was MIA. The fried pickles that come with the burgers have also been served soggy to us before, sitting in a quarter inch of oil in the metal serving cup. Being the foodie that I am, I'm keeping my spirits up (with food of course) and supporting local restaurants during this COVID-19 pandemic. Bad Daddy's is a spot that I always see but have never gone to, so I wanted to change that. Located on Peachtree Blvd. in Chamblee in a mixed-use plaza near Whole Foods, Bad Daddy's looks to have a nice dining space on the inside and has eating areas outside with a garage style door that opens to the bar area. Very cool. There were signs leading to where you order takeout. The cashiers were very friendly, and the wait was about 15 mins for the food. I ordered Emilio's chicken sandwich which comes with fried chicken breast (I believe you can also opt for grilled chicken), guacamole, jalapeño bacon, poblano mayo, tomato, lettuce, and red onion. I did not get the bacon. The chicken breast was HUGE! They don't skimp out on the portion sizes here at all. It was tender, juicy, and nicely fried. The toppings were pretty good together even though everything kept falling out because the sandwich was so damn big lol! I could've done without the guacamole honestly. The sandwich came with a choice of sides and I got the natural cut fries. The meal also came with a sauce that tasted like bbq mixed with some other stuff. Banging!! It tasted really good on the sandwich. My meal was roughly $13. I was getting my car repaired at the nearby Honda dealership and decided to have Bad Daddy's Burger Bar for lunch. I've made mistakes before for lunch, but today wasn't one of them! You get options here at Bad Daddy's, and if you don't care for one of their pre-made burgers (or non-burgers like turkey, chicken, etc), you can make (and name) your own, which is what I did! For my create my own burger, I made the following burger: 7 oz premium patty ($9.95) with: blue cheese crumbles ($1) Mushrooms ($1) Brioche bun Arugula onions pickles Bad daddy sauce Horseradish mayo The burger I created was named by me: the humble (blue) crumble! The burger came out pretty quick, definitely less than 10 minutes, and this thing was a good sized burger! It was cooked the way I asked (Medium), and all of the toppings were exactly as ordered. I got the sauces on the side but they made the burger all the more tasty. Each burger, even the create your own comes with a free side, and I chose tater tots. These came in a nice sized bowl that I could probably share if I weren't dining alone, so I ate these crispy, well seasoned pieces of joy! Located in the Parkview on peachtree mixed use development, you can find Bad Daddy's off of peachtree blvd. Parking is shared here, although I didn't park since I was dropped off. The lot is not huge, but not small either. Basically you likely will find a spot. Customer service here was a little slow when it came to the check, but the servers were excellent, energetic, and seemed to love what they do.. They also gave great suggestions! I saw lots of staff, just not working with customers. That alone is not enough to knock this down to 2-stars though. So why the poor rating? Um... have you tried a good burger in your life? Have you tried a frozen one that is then grill thawed and dressed up? Because here you're getting the latter. Sure, the dressed up part was good, the sides were fine, but that patty. What a shame. The food is a bit on the pricey side for a burger and fries but it is good quality ($56 for 3 burgers, 2 fries, 1 side salad, and 2 sweet teas). My most recent experience I built my own burger. 10oz medium cooked patty, fried egg, bacon, pickles, and Cajun ranch. The meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, I really enjoyed the burger. I also had some sweet potato fries which were very tasty. My mother ordered a plain burger which she enjoyed. But what she really liked was the make your own side salad. She was able to pick the greens, her favorite toppings, and dressing. Although Bad Daddy's isn't the best burger in Atlanta I will definitely be back. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE (Chamblee)!!! Their adult beverages are delicious and so is the food!! Order Not Your Mama's Deviled Eggs (be careful of the jalepeno) and a Bad Ass Margarita (there's a limit of two because they are potent when made right). I believe one of their greatest offerings is the Build Your Own Salad option (forgot to take picture of my salad). You select what leafy greens and up to 7 toppings from an incredible list.
