I ordered takeout one evening. The 5 piece chicken with a bubble tea and red bean dessert. The food was ready and accurate when I arrived and the staff welcomed me. The interior was clean, modern, and bright and there were a handful of tables along with the ordering kiosk at the entrance and the counter at the back. All the way home, the delicious odor of the chicken taunted me and when I finally opened the box it tasted equally divine. The outside was wonderfully crisp while the inside was perfectly juicy and savory. I enjoyed the milk bubble tea as well, though it was less remarkable. The dessert was like a cup of silky smooth flan, not very sweet and with no strong flavor, topped with a layer of dark red beans. It was surprisingly good. read more

one of the best chicken Sandwiches I have had to be real. I would choose this place over Chick-fil-A or Wendy's

This Chinese fried chicken spot was a really nice surprise! We ordered 6 items to go: the 5 piece chicken, fried chicken burger, fish burger, takoyaki, brown sugar rice cakes, and red bean milk pudding. Everything was pretty delicious. Chicken was perfectly crispy. I only wished the burgers came with extra toppings like tomato for free. In addition the brown sugar rice cakes are difficult to have as leftovers - they get firm in the fridge - I tried microwaving them for a few seconds and they inflated and got rock hard, so I had to toss them. Would definitely return for their fried chicken and milk pudding!! The pudding was sooo silky smooth I loved it. read more

This place is awesome. I'm not sure why its called Hamburger because I think the official title is 98K Chicken. This is a great place if you're looking for a fast food like, crispy chicken sandwich. We got the couples meal which is honestly incredible value for the amount of food you get (2 chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets and some wings!) the breading on the chicken at this place is truly incredible and crispy. The chicken has good flavor and is still juicy. We definitely think the chicken sandwich is the star of the show, didn't really like the wings. read more

Ordered the spicy nuggets for a little snack before running some errands. I like that there are different spice levels and how it actually carries some heat. It was crispy and not oily. I ordered my food through Uber Eats on 8-31-2025. I got a delicious grilled chicken sandwich. I had to try that sandwich first and I got a 8 PC fried chicken with honey mustard and their hot sauce it's good. I've been meaning to check this place out for awhile. I saw this place on line before the chicken place in Decatur. I live down the street from a Popeyes since the last order I was supposed to get a 10 PC I paid for the meal deal and received only 8 after calling and not getting a response I avoid them like the plague. Crispy crunchy chicken here delicious taste. I also got $14.00 off with promo with my order through Uber Eats. read more

This restaurant is located in Intown Plaza on Buford Highway. There's a parking lot in front with plenty of spaces. Inside you can order at the kiosk or at the register, seat yourself, and pick up your order from the front when it's ready. It's a casual place with some aluminum tables and chairs. The prices are comparable to fast food and I really like the chicken sandwich here. It's filling with light flavors and isn't too oily/greasy. read more

Wow is my first impression of the food. The price is pretty reasonable too. The downside is the lack of seating if you were to come here with a large ish group. But the food does come out quick. There's a 'couple set' deal that's decently priced. The hubs said that we should have gone with that deal for a couple more bucks then we would have gotten more food. Gosh. Such a guy comment. I just wanted a sandwich while he wanted a combo and much more. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich was super delicious. The chicken had really juicy dark meat with a nice crispy skin. It was a pretty sizable patty too. The other ingredients were simple with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Even though I rarely get anything spicy, the spice level on this was pretty mild. The crispy cod fish sandwich was surprisingly tasty too. The fish's crust had a nice crunch that wasn't too battered or oily. There was also a good portion to the fried cod with accompanying lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The fries were pretty decent. I usually don't like thick fries because of the super potato-y taste, but these were golden and pretty crispy. The staff was super nice. Prices decent. Quick service. I do indeed would visit again and try their other menu items. read more

I ordered the fried chicken which was on point spicy so it had a kick to it. No complaints on the fried chicken. The shrimp burger was something I was looking forward to, but instead of it being a shrimp patty that was fried it was pretty much a few pieces of fried shrimp in between some buns. Nothing too special about the shrimp burger. I would go back to try other menu items. read more

Y'all this chicken is GOOOOOD! If you love the lighter breading but flavorful crunchy of Taiwanese chicken nuggets, you'll love this. Reminds me of my usual fave Cuckoo's cafe chicken though this one doesn't have pickled vegetables so it's not tops for me. BUT it's still freaking delicious. Portions are HUGE. My husband and I got the couples set and it came with TWO sandwiches, fried wings, roasted wings, and nuggets for only $25. Mins literally blown as most places would charge $12 for each item alone. Cannot beat this deal. Our friend got a fried chicken bucket and devoured his. All the chicken was very flavorful with a good crunch on the outside and moist on the inside. Service is countertop and the cashier was friendly. She even offered us free keychain toys at the end. Ambience is similar to a fast food joint. It's located next to China Hot Pot and there's plenty of parking via lot. read more

98K Hamburger - Couples set! - Halal Near Me - Doraville, Georgia

Super fresh "fast" food and really affordable. The only problem is that it's tiny inside so it's hard to have a group of friends eat with you without taking up the entire place. It is actually fresh made so you will wait longer than other fast food spots but it's worth it. Just order well ahead of when you're hungry and you'll be good. Chicken was crispy and light, burgers tasted not greasy at all and you could tell the veggies are FRESH. I know I keep using that word but it's the best word to describe this place. It's just slightly lacking some salt but that's what condiments are for. Fries aren't super crispy but I didn't mind that they were still yummy. I love the variety of soda flavors because they are flavors you don't normally get, the watermelon lemonade Sunkist was a perfect complement. For this price point and the quality, I don't think you could beat this place in this area. read more

Solid chicken sandwich. Wouldn't say it's mind blowing but if you're craving a fried chicken sandwich, it hits the spot. Portions are very generous. There's not enough sauce on the sandwich to taste it which is a bummer but some ketchup and hot sauce will take up for that. Fries were cooked perfectly crispy. They provide gloves if you don't want to get your hands dirty. Small spot so don't come with a big group unless you're getting it to go. Chicken is battered and fried really well. I'd come back. read more

Phenomenal!! Sandwich is absolutely fantastic. I'd definitely come back to try other items. It was so crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Rightfully seasoned and perfect spicyness. Only thing I didn't like is their bubble tea. It's not good. Nope. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise! It reminds me of a yummy asian chicken joint I see in C-dramas which I love so much! The better part is everything is halal no pork, the bacon is beef When you walk in you can order from the kiosk that will print out a QR code they scan at the front and take payment or you can pay there OR you can just go up to the front register to order. We ordered the Couple Set meal it's like $21.98, comes with: - 2 crispy chicken sandwiches, the spicy is SPICY! The regular is delicious too. You can choose. These come with lettuce and a white sauce I'm guessing is a flavored Mayo? - popcorn chicken, this is my favorite out of everything I just love Asian style popcorn chicken it's super crispy, fresh, and its thigh meat. I like to add a Honey Garlic sauce on the side for $0.50 - (2) bbq wings? These were tasty a little salty they tasted like braised wings - (3) crispy wings, these were delicious and crispy perfection And it comes with (2) canned drinks of your choice. Another day we ordered fries and the jelly bubble tea. The jelly is lychee jelly and the tea comes in only 1 flavor. It tastes like your typical bubble tea with lychee jelly but it was nice! As for the fries, I have to say they were underwhelming and no flavor really but it's not enough to knock a star off because this place is delicious and super cheap! This is a lot of food and I think we will continue to just order single items that we're craving next time. read more

Tried this new spot for the first time on New Year's Eve and at 7pm it was quite busy inside. There were people eating inside as well as a good amount of takeout orders. I waited 15-20min for my food. It's halal certified so that's cool. There's beef bacon instead but pork bacon being offered. I liked the fried spicy wings and the spicy popcorn chicken was just okay. The jelly milk tea was pretty good, ask to adjust the sweetness if you prefer things on the less sugary side. I do want to come back and try the chicken sandwich which seemed popular and their most pushed item. read more

Ordered the couples set for takeout but forgot to take pictures. The chicken sandwich was so good and juicy! It was humongous as well. The roasted chicken and chicken wings were pretty good and flavorful as well. The popcorn chicken was okay, mostly breading and not much chicken. It was a little too oily as well. I would definitely prefer some fries over so much chicken but I will ask for substitution next time if that's possible. I also paid and ordered for tartar sauce but didn't get any :( only the ranch that I also ordered. Overall, I enjoyed the fast food and will be back to try other stuff. The service was quick and friendly as well. read more

Probably one of the best chicken sandwiches you can get in the Atlanta area. It's not too heavy/oily like traditional chicken sandwiches, and they use dark meat in the chicken so that it is both crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I've only tried the sandwich, but would like to try other items on the menu. read more

I intended to have some of the fried chicken, but ordered the wrong thing for it. Nonetheless, the (grilled chicken and) pineapple sandwich was pretty tasty. I had a bite of the double cheeseburger, as well - good ingredients, noteworthy that it's halal, but it had a not-unpleasant but distinct taste that I associate with cafeteria burgers. I also had the boba milk tea, which was decent. Overall, I'd put the food around a 3 or 3.5 star level - not having tried the friend chicken, I'll say 3.5 there. A factor that rounds this place up is the clean and well designed interior, along with a seamless service process. I'll note that since my companion and I ordered separately, there was a substantial gap in when we each got our food, but that's more on us than the kitchen. Overall, I'd say a good place to eat if you're in the area, not a destination- but there's a chance the fried chicken is good enough to reach a higher tier. read more

Randomly found this place on my way home and decided to try it out. Best decision I've made. I love fried chicken and have had all the fried chicken chains you can think of. This is up there with my top fried chicken places. The portions are big, very fresh (lettuce was crunchy and the chicken was made to order), well seasoned (option to make it spicy), and the chicken is juicy and tender. The closest comparison would be Popeyes but 10x better with an Asian twist. I love that everything is self serve, you order on the tablet at the front door, grab your drink from the fridge, and utensils are on the counter. Prices are very reasonable considering the quantity and the quality. I recommend getting the combo for 2 (see image), you get to try a bit of everything for just $20, and I always end up taking leftovers. read more

98K Hamburger - Combo for 2 just $20. Comes with drinks, two burgers, and three types of chicken. - Halal Near Me - Doraville, Georgia

Decided to check this new place out in Intown plaza (Shallowford and Buford) in Doraville. It seems fairly new as it looks quite clean and not worn down just yet. The food here is pretty decent. We ordered the couple set (2 chicken sandwiches, 2 fried chicken wings, 2 roasted chicken wings, popcorn chicken, and 2 sodas). All this for $22, you get quite a bit of food. Really enjoyed the popcorn chicken, as I like a real crunch when eating popcorn chicken or shrimp. Both sets of wings were tasty. The only exception to an otherwise delightful surprise: the chicken in the one of the chicken sandwiches was really fatty. I don't expect all chicken sandwiches to be white meat, but in some sense, I do expect most of the fat to be taken out before frying. The service here is excellent. The cashier greeted us, gave us a menu, and was attentive when we got up to get a napkin, sauce, or condiments from the large center table. Good service is hard to find in Atlanta nowadays. 3.5 stars read more

It was a very delicious lunch for less than $10. That's almost impossible to find nowadays, so this place will hold a special spot in my heart. You can tell the couple things they do to control costs but it certainly doesn't take away from it being a great place. The one place they do not cut corners is on the chicken. They use an expensive, dark meat cut of chicken and the breading on that chicken is everything. It's light. It's flaky and it's tasty. The sandwich itself is a good size on a nice soft sesame seed bun and they have some kind of sauce on there that I think is closest to mayonnaise, but it's a bit thinner, a little peppery and more delicious than your traditional mayonnaise. Throw on one piece of iceberg lettuce and you have a fantastic sandwich. They also give you a very generous amount of fries but they're not that great. They obviously came just out of the fryer but it's your very bottom of the line fry with quite a few broken pieces or small pieces. No seasoning and barely a coating in there. They give you a very generous amount more than you can really eat and I think if they lower that portion they can find a much better fry Lastly, the staff is very friendly and is a great looking place on the inside. Everything seems brand new and it's very clean. As soon as someone gets up from a table the staff not only clean the table but the area around the table and was very attentive to ensure the restaurant looked great. They were very friendly as well. The other thing I noticed was that they didn't let you tip even though the POS machine had a spot for it. The lady selected no tip and went on. I can greatly appreciate the counter service here without the pressure of a tip, which is awesome. Pretty rare these days. I will probably come back many times when I am in the area read more

I went back to 98k a few times after my first experience and I have to say - it hasn't quite tasted the same. The chicken tasted of old oil, and the seasoning otherwise was quite mild. I guess it's the case of either falling quality or lack of consistency but I'm no longer my wowed the way I was before. read more

The food tasted just like it did in South Korea! I'm in love with the crunchiness they've mastered on the fried chicken. The fried chicken sandwich is HUGE, yet juicy and flavorful. The chicken wings are the way TO GO! Super crunchy yet juicy and packed with flavor on the inside. A little spicy as well, but nothing the honey mustard sauce can't balance out. The fried shrimp tastes like your typical frozen fried shrimp you'll find at a hibachi or buffet. Still good though. The fries were pretty good and you get a large portion. They just need a little salt. The service was amazing! You get your food in about 10 minutes and it's not and fresh every time. The music in the place is awesome as well! Very current with all the great music that's out now. This place is better than Popeyes and the only place I go to now for fried chicken. The cost of everything you see on the tray was only $25 which is a GREAT deal! Chicken wing prices are the best I've seen out there as well. Would I eat there again? Hell yeah read more

So I came here with my mom and daughter to try out this establishment . Okay. So first off. The food isn't bad but the particular combo I got did not have fries with it. The service was fast and friendly. The place was looking cool, had a franchise vibe thing going on. I got the meal for two, you get two chicken sandwiches , popcorn chicken, and some spicy wings along with two sodas (cans so no refills) . It's a solid chicken sandwich the chicken itself was juicy and flavorful but I wish they had a better sauce to accompany it other than mayo. I would be back if I'm around the area but not if I had to go out my way to get it. read more

The food came out really fast and it was so good. The chicken sandwiches were huge and the chicken thigh was really juicy. There was so much chicken popcorn pieces, we had a lot of food leftover. This was a great experience! We got the couples set which includes two chicken sandwiches, two New Orleans Roasted Wings, 2 fried Hot Wings, a bag of popcorn chicken, and 2 sodas. All for $21.98 not including tax - this was an awesome deal because we got a large portion of food for an affordable price. The spicy chicken sandwiches remind me of the KFC Zinger Burger in Pakistan, except spicer and using thigh meat. It was delicious and crispy. The roasted wings also had good flavor as did the fried hot wings, which were more mildly spiced in comparison to the chicken sandwich. The popcorn chicken was perfectly crispy and great to use with their dipping sauces (the honey garlic sauce and spicy sauce are good options). It was a 30-40 minute drive back home and everything was still tasty and warm. I can only imagine how good it is fresh. Service was good and I received the food in 15-20 minutes. The menu has a large variety and everything is halal. Not much room for seating - there are three tables that can sit 4 people each and about 2-3 hightop tables that can sit 2 people each. I will definitely be back and am very happy to have a new halal option besides the usual Desi/Middle Eastern food. I will definitely be back! read more

Make sure the inside of your chicken/chicken sandwiches is cooked. I went once and noticed the inside of my fried chicken sandwich wasn't cooked. I figured it was a mistake. Next time I went I asked them to make sure the chicken was cooked through. It was still raw on the inside. I'm guessing this is a theme and a lot of these 5 star reviewers are eating raw chicken. read more

While there is little seating, the food is delicious! I had no idea the signature was the spicy chicken sandwich which I've had before, and it's really good! Disappointed. I was honestly excited to try this place and ordered it through Uber eats. I took a bite into the sandwich and the flavor tasted delicious but I was wondering why the chicken tasted rubbery - it was raw!!!
