The location being centrally-located in my neighborhood makes it great for a quick bite for lunch or dinner. No matter the sandwich salad or other bakery options, freshness will always be guaranteed in consistent, no matter the location you visit. I love this Henri's, even with all of its little inconvenient quirks. The outside can be a little rough. This place gets busy and the parking lot does not accommodate that reality at all. It's at a very busy intersection with oddly placed entrances. But patrons make it work, and the quality keeps people coming regardless of how crazy the parking gets. I learned recently that Henri's is quite an Atlanta institution, and has been around for a loooong time. But I understand why. The service is great, regardless of location. The baristas actually like to talk to you even during the morning hustle. They are well-staffed and you can tell their employees like working there. Sharon is awesome, and the guy who mans the sandwich station is REALLY good at his job. The inside is kept clean, and it's a really calming environment for a coffee shop. Whoever designed their cafes did a great job, as the theme is consistent in their sister locations. I really have no complaints about the food. The meat is fresh. The bread is fresh. They make many of their bakery items at an HQ and locally distribute them to their sister locations. The pastry section is well-appointed and the display makes them very tempting. The Reuben with pastrami is *CHEF'S KISS*. Just make sure you get it on a more durable bread, because the sauce can get a little messy and make the sandwich soggy. I'm sad to report that they do not serve matcha here yet. But the chai latte and standard latte was delicious with a nice, thick layer of foam on top. I love Henri's! To be clear I love just about everything here, but my go-to is the turkey poboy. It's nothing fussy - mayo, mustard, deli sliced turkey, ham and salami with Swiss cheese and a pickle on French bread. The bread might be my favorite thing. I also love their onion rolls! The baked goods are tasty and consistent - Some of my favorite sweet treats. Everyone is always friendly and the service is usually quick. I have driven past the Brookhaven location several times and finally decided to visit after reading fantastic reviews of their Mardi Gras king cake. I bought the cream cheese version. Although it's pricey, it's huge and worth the price. The brioche base holds moisture much better than Danish, so it stays fresher longer. Because I can never walk by petit fours, I bought a few. Not sure, but I think almond flour was incorporated, rendering a heavenly, creamy mouth feel. Although it's a hike for me, it's worth the trip to try a sandwich next! I have driven past this location of Henri's many times and today was my first time to drop in. I came with a request for two pounds of deli meat. Even though not on the menu, the staff went back to kitchen and were happy to accomodate. Price was reasonable! The cashier was very friendly which is a nice surprise because often folks in food service are going through the motions. Not here! The pastries and cookies looked wonderful. They had several sandwiches and salads prepared for grab and go. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. At 10a on a Saturday morning was not crowded. We pulled into this restaurant after our other place was too busy. It was our first time there and it was pretty good! They have a wide range of baked goods and a whole deli to make fresh sandwiches. They also use the local Rev coffee brand. You walk to the counter and place your order. It is a little weird that you order your sandwich from deli part but have to order your baked goods from the other register The service was friendly. Everything we ordered came out pretty quickly. My biggest issue with this "deli" is their lack of authenticity. I have ordered a Reuben there and they didn't even know what real rye bread was. I spent my first thirty one years in my hometown of NYC. At the age of fifteen I illegally worked at a deli where we served Reubens on a daily basis. Henri's has no idea what rye bread is. Except for the way parking is set up, I love this Henri's location, which isn't too far from where I live. Lots of natural light flood into the store through the clear floor to ceiling glass windows. Inside the store are bright lights. The parking lot is still the same as it was when a pizza restaurant used to be at this location. Henri's is on a triangular shaped property at the south corner of Johnson Ferry Road and Ashford Dunwoody Road, where these two roads converge/diverge. Either way, it's safest to turn right from either road into the small parking lot, rather than turning left from either road, which is impossible from Ashford Dunwoody, and dangerous from Johnson Ferry. I also highly suggest leaving the parking lot by turning right in order to be safe. Just know that the small parking lot is divided in half by a median. Other reviewers have pointed out that this Henri's Bakery & Deli doesn't bake their goods onsite. That doesn't really bother me, as long as what they have is fresh and delicious, which is what I've received the three times I've come in here. There are some tables and chairs, both inside and outside, but this is not a great place for large groups. Great looking and well presented desserts are in the clear display cases, and prepackaged desserts, sandwiches and salads are on self serve shelves. For the most part, customers are courteous and generally keep track of the order of when they entered the store, but I think stanchions need to be used to queue up the customers because the employees don't really keep track of which customers came in first, etc. The employees that have helped me have all been respectful, courteous and efficient, and they've been able to answer my questions about what's in the desserts that I've been interested in trying. The first time I came here, I got a delicious tasting bacon, egg and cheese croissant that was nice and flakey on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside. The last two times I've come here, I've had a slice of their Black Russian cake, which, although it's not like I've had before, it's still a good and rich treat. Henri's Black Russian has layers of yellow cake with a layer of chocolate creme between the layers. On the top and on the sides is a layer of whipped cream, and white chocolate shavings on top of the whipped cream, and a big round dot of dark chocolate on the very top. I'm a fan! read more

My friend and I split the Pimento Cheese Sandwich ($6.99) on a croissant and the Roast Beef Sandwich ($8.49) on white bread. Both were great and reasonably priced! We also got a Petit Four ($2.49), Shortbread Cookie ($1.49), and Cheese Danish ($3.25). The cheese danish was the only one that I was a little disappointed with. The food was good! 5 stars for me! Everytime I go in to this Henris everyone has smiling faces and are very welcoming. The food is always fresh, the inside smells delicious, and the coffee is delicious! I typically go for breakfast, my go to is a ham egg and cheese on a croissant. Love getting my breakfast from here because I know it's always fresh compared to some of their competitors. Spending a week babysitting our granddaughter in Brookhaven, we needed some lunch, so naturally I pulled up Yelp and found Henry's Bakery & Deli. It was early (11:15) but already pretty busy with people eating both in and outdoors. They have a pretty extensive menu and were greeted as soon as we walked in. I opted for the Reuben sandwich and my wife got the chicken salad on French bread. Both sandwiches were delicious, my Reuben was stacked and toasted perfectly. My wife loved the chicken salad and of course we had to add a little something from the bakery side for desert! We got a black/white cookie and a couple oatmeal raisin cookies, and were very tasty! The prices were more than fair and the customers just kept on coming in but the folks behind the counter never missed a beat! So it's a sandwich shop. Nothing more, nothing less, but a sandwich shop. It's a bakery too so if you're into cakes and cookies as well as sandwiches, this would probably be your thing. The places fairly new so it was really clean. All white interior, looks good. I walked in and was looking at the menu and everybody was so helpful. Trying to go ahead and navigate the menu, wasn't hard, but they seem to try to make sure they can help me along. They have indoor and outdoor seating, not a whole lot but enough sitting. That's actually probably more sitting on the outside than it is on the inside. I ended up settling on a corned beef sandwich. It was good. I'm from Detroit and we do corned beef, But this was okay. It's just that I'm just used to being huge and hulking sandwiches from the deli. The sandwich was good, you got the add what you wanted to, for example if you want to double meat. I ordered a club sandwich without mayo. I was given mayo on it. I did not know this until I return home in Conyers. I also ordered three cookies the health, peanut butter and one that has coconuts and dates on them. All of the cookies were hard and tasted old and stale. On a hot and very humid day, we picked up our favorite toddler and headed to Hernri's in Brookhaven. The air conditioning was waiting for us and we were warmly greeted by the kind man at the register. It was past 3pm and the cases were still full of great choices. Our almost 2 year old loves the shortbread cookies and always chooses pink on top. We ordered half dozen to share and bring home. The coffee is great and the space is clean. This is one of the best gluten free sandwiches I have ever had. The bread is so soft and fresh! They changed their gloves (you have to ask) but it was great service. I grew up on Henri's in Buckhead so it was nice to see one over in Brookhaven. The inside is a cute little bakery/cafe vibe. What a great little addition to the Brookhaven fast/casual scene! I'd never visited other Henri's locations, but I understand from friends that this one doesn't bake fresh on premises, but rather gets them delivered from the main Atlanta Westside location. We'd noticed the parking lot was a crazy mess, so we decided to walk to Henri's to earn our treats. -Atmosphere: expect to wait in line for any made-to-order items, so it feels a bit like any other sandwich shop. On a Saturday lunchtime the queue wrapped all the way out of the Johnson Ferry-facing entrance and around the building. -Menu: plenty of good sandwich options with choice of bread. Breakfast/brunch looks like a smaller selection but all looked tasty. Some pre-made sandwiches were ready to grab & go - for these you can ask the queues to let you closer to the fridge to pick your selection and then head straight to the counter/cashier opposite the main door (Ashford-Dunwoody facing). One oddity was that it doesn't seem that they sell actual bread or pastries at all - just sandwiches and cakes/quiches/salads. I'd hoped to bring home a loaf of bread or some croissants, but they don't sell like that. -Seating: mostly people clear out quickly after eating, and for the main part were clearing out their trash as they left. It was a bit chaotic with kids and dogs everywhere, but at least people didn't seem to be saving seats - there's space by the time you get through the line. -Loyalty program: while in line, I signed up through the Henri's website, but at the cash register they ask for your phone number which takes you to a completely different platform to register anew. Rewards start once you hit $75 spend. -Food/Drink: coffee was excellent and sandwiches really fresh and tasty. We didn't hit up the sweet treats, but there's a good selection. Next time! read more

Love, love this location - parking lot is less than desirable, but the sandwiches make up for it. I come to this location often ... so happy they decided to bring a Henri's to Chamblee. Staff is ALWAYS super accommodating and has always been above and beyond for me. When I used to swing by to get sandwiches to travel with, staff was always friendly enough to separate the wetter toppings in smaller containers to avoid a soggy sandwich lol very nice of them. Inside is small, few tables to some and tons of natural light. It's usually moderately busy but service still manages to move pretty quickly. Henri's is a gem in my book bc they offer gluten free bread AND a few gf desserts such as the flourless chocolate cake, almond macaroons and the Mediterranean cookie. I would be skeptical to recommend here if you are celiac - chances of cross-contamination are pretty high. All in all, love having the option of a deli pastrami 5 mins away! read more

Love that this cute bakery opened in Brookhaven! It's a great addition to the neighborhood. They have limited parking out front, so just be wary when coming in. We came in this morning around 8:30. We were able to quickly place our order at the sandwich counter. I got the croissant ham, egg and cheese sandwich. It was so tasty! They have some other breakfast sandwich options and a large selection of more lunch-y sandwiches as well. They also have coffee available - everything from black drip coffee to a latte. Had a hankering for a sandwich while I was in the area and decided to try Henri's for the first time. I can't say no to a good New York style deli and had a hard time deciding what to try. I settled on the French dip sandwich. The au jus served alongside was just the right amount of salty and beefy. While the sandwich itself was packed with lots of meat, I wish it had like a horseradish sauce or something to add a bit more dimension. I tried my bf's chicken salad sandwich and it was good but a little on the sweet side. The prices were also pretty good for the amount and quality that you get. I like that the food is prepared right in front of you but you also have grab and go options in the refrigerated section. The ordering process wasn't very clearly and we quickly learned you have to put in your order with the people preparing the food and then proceed down the line to pay at the register.
