Keep going in, you'll see a small lot on the left side past the speed bump. Food: *Sliders ($9 for 3): Three beef sliders were juicy and okay. It was pretty salty for both of our palates. *Half-Salad ($6.50): Yes, why order a salad at a burger bar? Well, it was pretty late so we wanted something light. Ended up actually surprised at how generous the portions were. I couldn't finish mine...but Rosalynn L. devoured hers lol. You've got a selection of different salads or the choice to build your own. Now to the main reason why I gave BDBB's 3-stars... Service: What service? Is what we were thinking about 75% of the time we were here. Coming in around 8:30 pm, we were told there was a 20 min wait. One of the guys in the front handed us a beeper and turned back around to a coworker and continued to converse. She profusely apologized and said it wasn't her table so she didn't want to step on any toes, but seriously? Doesn't it make you curious when you see two people sitting there for a long period of time with no water on the table looking around trying to get some attention? I'm writing this review 3 weeks later and STILL annoyed thinking about it. The person originally assigned to our table never showed (probably too embarrassed to) so the nice lady we flagged down ended up taking over. After that, our service from this one particular lady was great. I understand how tables can be assigned to specific staff members, but the overall goal is for the patron to have a good experience. It's just surprising to me that no one did or said anything..I truly think there needs to be more awareness and attentiveness around. Additionally, when we left, the guys at the front didn't say anything like many other restaurants do. No "thanks for coming", "have a good one" or even a simple "bye" -.- We honestly feel like people here just don't care. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger on steroids (medium) and we got a dry overcooked patty of meat with American cheese and 2 slices of bacon. No lettuce, no tomato, no sauce. One of the worst burger ever. The order was to go and we called the bar to let them know about the mistake. All they offered was a ridiculous refund of few dollars for the price difference. I called immediately after I got home after figuring out they messed up the order and a guy that claimed he was the manager told me he would write down my wife's name and would let us get a free meal the next time we ordered from here. I sat at the bar and had a great time. The parking was a bit confusing before I walked in. Most of the parking spaces are designated to other businesses. The bartenders were great. We had high hopes of this burger bar being tasty, but out of 5 people, only 1 enjoyed their meal. 3/5 got burgers and none of us ate the entire meal. We all have at least half of the burger left on plate. One person got a create your own salad and she enjoyed it. She did get protein added and out came 3 pieces of friend chicken tender. This is our 2nd time at this location. The service was food the first time but this time it was exceptional! I was immediately greeted as I walked in (there isn't too much space between hostess stand and front door) my husband was parking so I let the host know that I was waiting on him. As soon as we stepped back in, he acknowledged me again and led us to our seats. Once seated, the host immediately brought out some water and our utensils, then advised that our waiter would be right with us. Our waiter Roderick was amazing!!! He was super friendly, very engaging and knew the menu well. It was like having dinner at a friends house but with extra special service..lol I also love the way that the whole staff works as a team. One server brought out or appetizer, the manager (Cali) brought over my husbands drink and another person asked us was everything okay. I've had great service plenty of times but this was just different. There was not one staff member who didn't have a smile on their face. After Roderick let me know that Cali was the manager, I called him over to compliment him on what a great job him and his team are doing. He was very appreciative and thanked us for telling him, as well as giving us some coupons for our next visit. The great service continued as we were rapping up, which says a lot because a lot of business just want you to hurry up and leave and make sure to let you know. The first server brought over our check and let us know a here was no rush and although he wasn't our server, he was just helping out. For my send off meal while visiting with my friend in Atlanta I wanted a good burger. They suggested Bad Daddys since they've been before and liked it. I created my own and kept it pretty classic as I believe a good burger speaks for itself and too many ingredients can take away from it. I got the 7oz premium beef patty on a brioche bun, bacon, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, ketchup mayo mustard. When it came out the first thing I noticed was how pleasantly they put on the condiments under the top of the bun. Secondly was that the burger patty shape was too perfect; they could have certainly used a mold but it made me feel like it was a frozen patty. The patty itself didn't have much flavor to it. The burger as a whole wasn't terrible but also not great. I've definitely had better burgers from fast-casual chains. Fries were good nothing set it apart from any other fries I've had. I can't say I would go here again if I wanted a good burger since nothing was memorable enough to keep me coming back; there are so many other burger spots to try in ATL. read more

Difficult to spot tucked away off of peachtree blvd. it's across from Whole Foods and next to choa urgent care. We came for lunch on Sunday and it was packed, especially the bar. Then again, it is Super Bowl Sunday in the host city. We didn't have to wait to be seated but waited a while for our food ie over 45 minutes...for burgers and wings. The best part of ordering was the Super Bowl special where they offered a free 16oz beer with an order of wings or the classic American burger. We also got a $5 Bloody Mary special. It came w a thick cut bacon strip which mmmmm. Although a big too salty overall. Several of us got tater tots. The kids loved that. The sweet potato fries were a nice spin off the regular fries. The first time I ordered, my shake was made wrong. It was supposed to be the salted caramel pretzel shake ... there was no pretzel. Burger and fries were so-so. Tonight, I gave them another shot. I ordered through Grubhub. The order was promised by Grubhub between 7:30-7:40. At 8:00, I had still not been notified that my food was ready so I called the restaurant to inquire. The gentleman on the phone told me "yea Grubhub doesn't notify customers when their food is ready, you're just supposed to come." Huh? I know that to be 100% untrue. I use Grubhub at least once a week and always, ALWAYS receive a mobile app notification AND text message letting me know my order is ready. If Grubhub doesn't notify customers that Bad Daddy orders are ready, that's on the restaurant because that is absolutely a function of Grubhub and part of the reason I regularly order through them! By the time I arrived to get my food it was cold and soggy due to not being notified that it was ready - likely at least 30 minutes prior, and all my sauces as well as the lettuce wrap were missing. There's Five Guys and Grindhouse all within a 2 mile radius of Bad Daddy's, so based on other options in the area, the poor customer service, and both my orders several months apart being inaccurate, I will definitely not be back. read more

It is the best black bean burger I ever had. I felt like I was eating Mexican beans and corn and not a burger. The fries were normal. The patio is dog friendly. Burger prices were okay, a bit high. We wanted some burgers and wins for dinner and wanted to try something new and local (covid has caused to try and only eat local) I had issues with placing an online order. It wouldnt take my card for some reason and i double and triple checked my card info. So i call and after trying to call 3 times with no answer someone finally does. Is absolutely NO HELP. Tells me i have to place online or in store but wont take an order over the phone... ok no problem my girl was on the way over to pick it up anyway. She gets there at 820, 40 mins before closing at 9... She asks the host if she can place an order the host says"I DONT KNOW IF WE DO THAT. GO TO THE BAR AND ASK". I was craving some burgers and wings so I thought I'd go to bad daddy's and get both ! I arrived just shortly after 8pm . I ordered my favorite smoke house burger ( with pulled bbq pork ) , western burger and trufflao wings ! I places this order at 8:16 pm . While waiting an HOUR for my food, I got to feel like I was in the show undercover boss ! Just seemed the restaurant was all over the place . As if everyone that ordered to go or placed a to go order after dinning was left waiting . Even with half of the restaurant being empty and atleast 5/6 servers ,guest were told there was a 15 minute wait time and orders still seemed to be arriving late for everyone not just me . By this time guest were getting up cancelling orders and leaving . After after about 30 minutes passing I asked one of the waiter's about an order update and they said they are working on it now it should be out shortly ! Time just keeps passing by and I check in every 10-15 minutes . The waiters seemed to be hiding in the kitchen area at this point wanting to avoid any upset and frustrated customers . I saw the manager give out $20 off vouchers to a few customers which was nice but I think it was the least they could do , people that left with Togo were coming back With missing items from their orders. Made me worry to be honest. Would any of my food would be missing or if all my food would still be hot because as previous they said at the 30 minute mark that it should be out shortly ?! After 1h and 15 minutes I finally got my food and that's the first thing I checked , however I was missing a burger . I informed them and they kept asking me if I was sure and went back and forth for a few seconds . Hubster and I have been craving a delicious meaty burger. The kind of burger that you need two hands to hold. Bad Daddy's Burger did not disappoint! Bad Daddy's shares a lot with other retail stores. We had no difficulties with finding a spot to park. The menu was extensive and we needed a few minutes to decide on what we would like to eat. Each table has a couple of pads so that you can check off the items you want if you want to create your own burger or salad. Hubster thought this was really helpful with allowing him to decide on what he wanted on his salad. They had an extensive list of options to chose from. Our server was Marissa and she was ABSOLUTELY wonderful! She was super chill and patient. The decor of the restaurant had a really cool industrial vibe. Definitely a place where you can have a few beers and watch a game while eating a delicious burger. We ordered the Western Buffalo Burger with a CYO side salad and a Pittsburger. Hubster said his salad was surprisingly crisp and fresh. He loved their balsamic vinaigrette. The burgers were huge! I had a hard time picking up my burger and I could not fit it all in my mouth. Hubster had to help me finish half my burger because it was so big. Definitely enough to have leftovers if you don't have a human trash compactor (read husband). The burgers are made to order. We both ordered our burgers medium. Our server said that Bad Daddy's burgers are made a little under done and if a little pink was ok. This is a heads up for those who like their burgers. Both of our burgers were piled high with toppings. Hubster's Western Buffalo burger's was pretty much bleeding out crispy onion straws and my Pittsburger was pretty much a tiny haystack with the shoe string fries. This new addition to the rapidly growing Chamblee area piqued my interest, so I stopped by to see what it's all about. I thought I'd stumbled upon a new local spot but as it turns out, this is one of Bad Daddy's 28 locations throughout the U.S. Now I wanna know the story about the name...I presume it's the nickname of the owner. How does one get the nickname Bad Daddy? Who gave him the nickname? Is he a total bad ass? Or was the name BIG Daddy's Burgers already taken? I keep wanting to call the place Big Daddy's. But I digress...back to the visit! The layout is open, airy, and industrial. A wide open bar is situated in the middle with tables and booths line the dining area. The bar opens up into outdoor patio space. It just so happened to be a perfect patio weather day when I was there, so I grabbed a seat at the bar that combined the best of both the indoor/outdoor ambiance. I love that they have worksheets & mini golf pencils at the ready so you to create your own burger if one of the many burgers doesn't suit your fancy. Great for picky eaters or those who like to push the envelope on traditional burger options. Soon after submitting my burger worksheet, my turkey burger with sweet potato fries arrived. At first glance, it looks promising. The patty was proportionate to the bun, and my toppings were all there (lettuce, tomato, cheese, caramelized onions). It had a nice presentation, but the burger wasn't earth-shattering. It was almost certainly a frozen patty, not a fresh handmade version. The sweet potato fries were pretty good although I wished that I'd ordered the tater tots instead. While Bad Daddy's won't be my top burger destination, I'll still go to soak in the indoor/outdoor ambiance, watch a game and maybe try a few snacks. Finally had a chance to try this place last night with my fiancé. We dropped in for dinner and it was pretty busy. Our server, Hannah, was awesome! Super friendly and helpful. We were not sure what to try so she gave us some great recommendations. We started with drinks and an appetizer. I had the "Bad Ass Rocks Margarita" and my fiancé had a beer. We shared the Chicken Wings. They had Buffalo and Thai Chili Sauce to choose from. Hannah said we could do half and half to try both which is what we did. I must say the sauce of the Thai Chili Sauce was DELICIOUS. My margarita was GREAT...would highly suggest ordering. The beer came in a couple of different sizes but they do not sell pitchers. For the main course we went with the "Daddy's Philly" and fries and the "Buffalo Chicken Sandwich" with chips. I enjoyed the philly more than the chicken sandwich. My chicken wad a little bit tough but other than that the food was good. We really liked the location of the restaurant and the layout inside. If it wasn't for our server, Jimmy we would probably rate this place closer to two stars. Ordered our drinks and food and it took what seemed like forever for our drinks to be brought out. Thankfully, the Moscow mule and the margarita were pretty tasty. For food, we ordered the Bad Daddy Nachos to start and were VERY disappointed. Not a speck of chicken on the plate! Confused, I asked Jimmy if chicken was supposed to be on the nachos and thankfully he got that comped off our check. I was hopeful that the chicken would come out as we would have happily paid for it, but alas, it never came out. I guess asking for the sauces to be placed on the side confused the chefs in the back? For my chicken sandwich, I also asked for Dijon mustard and the tomato jam to be placed on the side. It wasn't. In fact, no Dijon mustard anywhere on my platter. Tomato jam was great, just wish it was placed on the side as I had requested. Im not a fan when the condiments get all over the bread because it makes the bread soggy--fast. Bad Daddy did not disappoint! From service to grub, we had a stellar experience this past weekend. We beat the dinner crowd by arriving around 6 and immediately found a seat at the bar. We were greeted promptly by the bartender and placed our drink order. Several choice craft beers on the menu-including tropicalia, my fave. I also tried the margarita and it was delish! They had several TVs around the restaurant so we could catch the Braves game once it started. We started with the deviled eggs and I highly recommend. They were lightly fried (not as weird as it sounds) with a sriracha twist to the filling and topped with bacon and a fresh jalapeño. So good! I've been looking forward to trying this place out for a while as I have heard mixed reviews. Although the service and food arrived on a timely manner, here are my thoughts on burgers. We tried the bacon burger and the chicken one. Both were around $13 and very large burgers that come with a side. There is a challenge to cooking and eating large burgers. Both our burgers were overcooked. My chicken was tough and really difficult to chew. Between that and very stringy bacon and stringy mozzarella cheese, I gave up eating my burger halfway. Because the burgers are so large, they were challenging to eat and on the salty side due to the jalapeno bacon and additional condiments. I love the idea of beautifully crafted large burgers but I think they become harder to prepare (balance the elements) and easy to overcook. Maybe it was a bad batch of burgers, but these were both salty and overcooked burgers unfortunately. The ambience was fun and parking was easy/free. I came with a friend for a first-time dine-in experience and I can't say we had a particularly impressionable time at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. Inside: It's a chain restaurant, so nothing outstanding as far as decor goes but it's to be expected. Each booth had a tall plexiglass installed above the already existing separating wall, so the extra protection was a nice touch. Service: Basic at best. We got sat down and our server brought us water. A few minutes later, he asked if we wanted anything to drink to which we both replied no, that water is fine. Our server gave us a hard time for not wanting an alcoholic beverage, saying "C'mon! It's the weekend!" but I had to explain that I was doing Dry January and didn't want to drink. He didn't seem satisfied with my answer. To be honest, why should I even have to explain myself? What if my friend was struggling with an addiction. It just really rubbed me the wrong way. We went ahead and ordered chips & cheese dip and weren't handed two plates to share the appetizer. The cheese dip was runny, which is to be expected, but why no plates?! I mean it dripped on the table and on myself, and not a napkin in site lol. We had to ask for napkins which took forever to arrive because our server was nowhere to be found and had to ask another server for their help. This was a reoccurring issue throughout our lunch - no server, need to track someone else down. The place was by no means busy either. Our lunch finally arrived, still no silverware on the table, so we had to wait some more before we could eat! We couldn't find our server, so we had to ask someone else to bring it to us. It also took forever to get our bill, have our credit cards picked up, and get our receipts back. We had to constantly ask for someone to help us, see if they knew where our server was after 20 minutes had passed! Again, a completely understandable scenario should the restaurant be packed, but it wasn't. Food/Drink: I think the food was fine. I enjoyed my sliders and truffle fries, my friend enjoyed her mac 'n cheese and broccoli. The chips & dip were good. Vibe: I think the vibe could have been better.
