I love the food at Irie no lie. But one thing I have noticed is the difference between the 2 locations. The one in peachtree fixes your plate with love while the one in Norcross fixes like you're on a diet. I've ordered from peaches countless times, this is now my 3rd time ordering in Norcross and I'm continuously disappointed in their portion sizes compared to the amount of food they give you. I paid $50 and some change this weekend for an oxtail plate and 3 patties, got home, looked at my food and I felt extremely played. I'm tired of complaining about this to the girl up front. Whoever answers the phone when they do decide to answer is very rude and obnoxious. I heard the food was great but it's mid at best. It's always empty when I did go. I had the most amazing plate of food! Jerk chicken was dark meat and cooked to perfection even without the sauce. Having the sauce on the side was new for me but I enjoyed it. Delicious!!! We had the jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, and a rum punch, and everything was absolutely perfect. The chicken was packed with flavor, tender, and cooked to perfection. Even the cabbage--something I usually don't get too excited about--was amazing! The peas and rice complemented the meal beautifully, and the portion sizes were generous. I expected a fresh, home-cooked meal like this to take a while, but the service was surprisingly quick. And now, I can't wait to enjoy my leftovers for lunch! After seeing them on television, my family and I had to go visit. And it did not disappoint, the food was tasteful and plentiful. We ordered curry chicken, rice and peas, oxtail pasta, and jerk shrimp. Everything was so good. The service that Jacinda provided was excellent. She made wonderful suggestions and was very pleasant. And Chef Debbie cooked it all. We were so lucky that she was cooking. All of the food was so tasty and the meat was falling off of the bones literally. This is a very late review, but it's needed. They hosted a birthday celebration for us in October 2024 and did an amazing job! Not only was the food delicious (oxtails, curry goat, jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage & plantain - thanks Debbie!), but the service was outstanding! They went out of their to accommodate our guests and our many changes. We still order individual meals from there now, but we'll definitely use them again for another celebration! read more

The restaurant is very nicely appointed, unlike many Jamaican restaurants. Makes for a good dining experience. The mojito was nice and strong and the jerk chicken was amazing. My only complaint was they included an 18% service charge for just 2 people. Not necessary! read more
