I love the music they play. I am so sick of elevator music and they don't do that. I really enjoy that. All of their food is great, but I am hooked on their salads. Their Sartori Caesar is one of my favorites. It has super fresh crisp romaine hearts with freshly grated parmesan cheese, sourdough croutons and house-made Caesar dressing. I love the dressing. Their Big Newport Wedge is better than most is has the best iceberg wedge topped with applewood smoked bacon, balsamic red onion, tomato and a great blue cheese dressing. I wasn't told this at the register, wasn't offered these "premium" ingredients, So I placed my order and didn't find out until I received my order. Big ass let down. I'm done with Dog Haus. We couldn't decide what to get because everything on the menu sounded so good, so we asked for suggestions. We ended up splitting the loaded hash browns, crab cake Benedict, shrimp and grits, and cinnamon roll pancakes. It was definitely a lot of food for the three of us, but so worth it. Today I tried the Chico Cubano bowl with pulled pork, beans, plantains, and I chose greens and white rice as my bases. The pork was succulent and tender with great seasoning, the plantains were the perfect sweet complement - excellent texture to the plantains. The rice is sticky and perfectly cooked and the beans were delicious. The picked red onions provided the perfect amount of acidity. The only thing - I would not recommend the greens with this bowl since the beans kinda take over the base. But hey, it was still delicious, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I did learn you want to order ahead of time at lunch. That way it's ready when you get there. I did have to wait, but only for about 10 minutes after I placed my order on the kiosk. A New Job, A New Milestone & A Chance to Rewrite the Narrative…read more My best friend and I have a tradition of celebrating new jobs with a nice dinner. Since this was her new job and a major milestone, I let her choose the restaurant. She had visited Bo-Beau last year but didn't get the full experience, so this was her chance to rewrite the narrative. And it was truly night and day. I researched the restaurant beforehand and was excited to see that Bo-Beau is part of the Cohn Restaurant Group, which I mostly associate with San Diego and South Orange County. After this experience, I really hope they're here to stay. I noted on our reservation that we were celebrating her new job, and for once, the restaurant actually read the note and acknowledged it. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was excellent. The hostess welcomed us downstairs, another staff member greeted us when we reached the rooftop, and our server quickly followed up. Then came the surprise: complimentary champagne for both of us. It was such a thoughtful gesture, especially because those little celebratory touches seem to be increasingly rare. Our server was also patient with our questions and attentive throughout the evening without being intrusive. We spent about 2.5 hours enjoying dinner and catching up over: Baked Brie Brussels Sprouts Steak Frites Everything was flavorful, and the entire experience felt relaxed, peaceful, and worth the price point. The food was great, but the hospitality is what earned the 5 stars for me. Real hospitality is paying attention to the guest, recognizing the occasion, and making people feel genuinely welcomed. My best friend got the celebration she wanted -- and a much better Bo-Beau experience this time around. Will definitely be returning!

Off the happy hour menu, we got the nachos, fish tacos, and the crunchy tacos. We loved the nachos and the fish tacos- very flavorful and decadent. However, we would probably skip the crunchy tacos next time- there wasn't really anything special about it. We also ordered the naughty fries and two pastas: garlic and parmesan pasta and the spicy mariana cremosa. The serving sizes for the pasta were definitely worth the price, and plus it comes with two pieces of garlic bread. The naughty fries were also really good! In addition to the delicious food, we also ordered 3 of their shaken espressos- cinnamon brown sugar, banana cream, and the cocoa moon rocks. All were pretty solid but I wish the flavor was more coffee forward. The interior of the place is very nice. I loved the light fixtures and the stage. It would be a perfect dinner spot for a night out. Our table was near the window and there's a lot of flies near there, so that was just a little displeasing. In regard to the service, it was a pretty slow. It took a while for us to get our drinks, the check, and also to pay. Our server was really sweet though!
