In particular, Stephen and Patrick have been exceptional, even helping me negotiate with parcel carriers. However, there have been some hiccups. Misquoting shipping timelines. But, they own their mistakes and seek to remedy. They make ample effort to improve their methods to meet my needs. Even when the errors are not their fault.

They lost track of our inventory and failed to fulfill more than half a dozen retailer POs, including missing repeated extensions on those orders. This put our most important customer relationships in serious jeapordy. From our experience, the problems appeared to stem from upper management and ownership rather than the warehouse employees themselves. Even more concerning, multiple POs were marked in EDI as shipped when they had not actually shipped, while the tracking information showed the orders never left the warehouse. We ultimately had to reimburse the retailer for those orders. Despite our repeated requests, AVID would not provide reimbursement or credits for the losses/damages we incurred and, after we exited, continued to deny responsibility. Throughout this situation, we repeatedly tried to get help from the owner, Patrick Graves. We received little meaningful response until attorneys became involved and we sent a formal legal letter. Despite the significant inventory and fulfillment failures we experienced, AVID demanded payment in full and would not release our remaining inventory until the outstanding balance was paid, without any adjustment for the problems or damages we had incurred. This went on for months and severely damaged our company's most important retail relationships. We ultimately involved attorneys and forced an exit from AVID in order to protect our business and customer relationships. To be fair, our experience with AVID was generally fine for approximately the first nine months. After that, however, the level of service deteriorated dramatically. Had the company taken responsibility for what happened and made a reasonable effort to address the losses caused by these failures, I would not have written this review despite how serious the problems were. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Other businesses considering AVID should know about our experience and conduct their diligence accordingly.

This is exactly what happened to me with this company and I was threatened with a law suit if I opened my mouth by the owner Chris who says he's a Christian ' but in reality he and his trucking company are wolves in sheep's clothing. When I went through orientation I was told I would be paid 350 dollars a day as long as I didn't cancel the run for the day. I started on Jan 31st of 2022. I was told to be at work at 5 am and when I got to work the truck I was assigned to had mud flaps missing on the truck. The heater in the truck didn't work and I was given a fuel card that I was suppose to fuel at state line before heading onto Southern California! When I got to state line to fuel up the card at the pump said the card was no good ! I went to the fuel desk and the man at the fuel desk ran the card and he said it shows the card was invalid. So I called Freight Connection dispatch at 0600 am and told them what happened. Freight Connection dispatch told me to bring the truck and trailer back, that they would have me run local instead for the day. After running 5 hours for the day , I resigned after getting the run around and dealing with a invalid fuel card. At 10:00 am I was called by my former employer and asked to come back as I had retired to go to work for Freight Connection. I resigned from Freight Connection and went back to my old employer. When I asked about getting my pay for the 5 hours ' I was paid 98.00 not the guaranteed 350.00 a day that was told per the Craigslist ad or per Brittany the human resource lady during orientation ' which the 3 hours of orientation is on your own time and not paid which I found out later isn't paid. When I questioned the owner of the 5 hours I was paid only 98.00 for and not the actual 350.00 as stated by Brittany' the human resource lady in orientation' I was threatened by the owner Chris who said he was a Christian ! But I believe he is what most people call a wannabe Christian as most Christians wouldn't rip off their employees or threaten a law suit as Chris did, and he was extremely aggressive over the phone and in text which I have. Not good Christian attitude if you ask me. I would highly suggest staying as far away from this company if your a driver, because they will promise you everything under the sun , but not deliver. I will never work for a private company again , because they are all the same! All talk' no walk.

After scanning my package, he carelessly tossed it on the ground instead of a sorting bin (clearly marked USPS). Coming back to question about usps package(s), he argumentatively insisted it was FedEx but I had to tell him it was USPS. See picture and it clearly says 'USPS Ground Advantage Return'. I guess he can't read and does not care for any of the packages where they go! Then he was going to make me wait for a 'lesson', which I decided to leave without question. My husband used to work with this company for deliveries before he retired. He called on Monday, scheduled a pickup and delivery for Thursday with a lift gate and pallets. They said between 9 and 10. They were here at 8:50. The truck was unloaded in about 5 minutes, placed safely in my garage and they were off! Incredibly reasonable price. Would have cost us more to rent our own truck, fill it with gas and pay for insurance on it. FANTASTIC SERVICE! (Our tile guy wrote their name down to use them again!!)
