They responded quickly to my inquiry, hired good contractors who all did excellent work, and…read morefinished the project in a timely fashion. What surprised me most is I was able to customize many aspects of the build, as opposed to it being predetermined design and construction. I definitely plan to go to them for the next project.

I contacted this company along with some others to get a quote for a shed for my backyard. After…read morespeaking with this company, I elected to go with this company and had a 10x12' (120 sq feet) storage shed (the size of an office or a bedroom) built in the summer of this year in my backyard. The purpose of this shed was to house my lawn/pool/scouting/camping equipment, etc. I elected to go with a James Hardie fiber cement siding shed that matched my home. Many folks elect to go with plastic sheds (or other shed materials), but because I reside within a homeowners association, there was a requirement that materials used for my shed match the home. Regardless, if this requirement was not in place and although more on the expensive side, I would have elected to go with Hardie Plank fiber because of the inherent advantages... when the right materials are used, it looks great, and it lasts a long time. The option for the elevation of the shed (what the shed would rest on) provided by the company were cement blocks, which is fairly standard. I however, requested that a full cement base (at an added cost) be built as I live in an area where rattlers are present and didn't want to welcome them to a new home underneath my shed. The contractor who poured the cement was different from Sheds & More. Once the contractor poured the cement and it was able to dry, the Sheds & More crew came out to begin constructing the shed. The shed took approximately two days to complete (building and painting the planks). The workers who came to do the build were efficient and cleaned up the work area each day. The only issue with the shed is a small catch at the top of the sliding barn door that doesn't allow the door to shut smoothly. I did report this concern to the PM, who advised someone would take care of the issue, but as of the date of this review, that has yet to occur. I am happy with the shed aside from the minor issue. It should be noted that if someone does decide to contract with this company, they are not the cheapest option (but you get what you pay for), 10% of the project funds are required to start the project, many shed options are available and communication with the PM and crew for the job is simple. Total costs for the project to include full cement base $14,000 #supportlocal

Well, I guess my update in September of 2023 was not my last for this nightmare of an experience…read morewith Hill Country Outdoor Builders. In late January of 2025 I noticed some uneven shingle lines on the opposite side of the patio roof that Tobi and his team completed. From my previous post, Tobi assured us that the opposite side of the patio roofing was done correctly which is why he refused to redo the entire shingle work and just correct the area that was falling off (as seen in the pictures). I asked a 20+ year roofing professional to assess what I noticed and he confirmed that both sides were done incorrectly. There were areas with 3 nails per shingle or less and even some shingles with no nails at all. We chose to have the entire side (opposite side from which Tobi already corrected) re-roofed; including paper underlayment. Luckily there were no signs of water damage. This correction was north of $1,000 out of our pocket. My wife and I want everyone to know that we would not recommend Hill Country Outdoor Builders for any work moving forward. We are also starting to notice some loose paver stones on the end caps of our patio floor. Do your research with this company and ask a lot of questions before moving forward.
