Our servers name was Josh and he was incredible, he gave us advice on our questions and was very conscientious about his service toward us. The food was excellent the brussels sprouts were over the top good, and the salads were pretty terrific. The sandwiches were very good as well, a half of a hero sandwich was more than enough for one person. Will absolutely return when in town. read more

I love this place! Such a great addition to the Bonsall-Fallbrook community. Great atmosphere with very friendly staff! Olivia is hands down my favorite server there...knows the menu and always friendly. Great rotating selection of beers on tap! And the food is very good. Wings with 5150 sauce are cray! Burgers are juicy and well cooked. The fries are insane. Seriously legit. TVs on the right spots for games and they keep the volume loud enough to hear but quiet enough to actually talk to your party without yelling. 100% recommend and will be back a lot. read more

My husband and I went here for the first time this week. The hostess, waitresses, and bar staff were just great. We both had one of the burgers. The meat was almost tasteless and somewhat chewy. We asked for medium but we're served well done. But the sauces they served with them were very tasty. We loved the curly fries. They need to add more vegetables with their dishes. The people next to our table loved the pizza. When we came in, a woman told is she really liked the meatballs. I don't know if I'd come back. But if you are hungry for burgers and fries, I'm sure you would like this place. read more

I praise their wine list and prices. The service was still in learning mode. We started and ended our stay with the wings. Menu says 1lb of wings....we were disappointed with the 6 meatless wings (bones) @ $15. We'll try them again after they settle in with new employees. read more

The Good: Food was great! Kudos to the cooks! Waitress was friendly, and a nice young man set up outdoor heaters. The Bad: We waited about an hour and a half for our food! Once it was delivered the waitress disappeared. Drink glasses were empty for our entire meal. She came by when we're were finished and apologized. Sadly, the owner was too busy chatting about wine, wine delivery company, and his preference of whiskey. At this point we weren't the only frustrated table, there were four other tables waiting and getting pretty restless. Maybe in the future we can give Backdraft another try and hopefully give them more stars. But for now 3 is pretty generous for having to wait that long for a burger. read more

Good looking bar -terrible thin crust pie. Didn't try anything else, but my pie was no better than a take and bake your own pizza. Ingredients were not fresh, crust was not crispy. I'd definitely have drinks there, but not the "thin crust" pie. read more

We just tried this place for first time today. The pizza was hand tossed sourdough and oven baked deliciousness. The hamburgers melt in your mouth with a custom meat blend. Food and service were excellent. I would rethink pricing on the Mac though. This was the full meal not the child's size. Also ordered the wings which came in an order of 7? Just an odd number. Beer selection was pretty good although I would appreciate a lower ABV stout as the one they have was $20 for 10 oz 14 abv. Like...I have to function after this and don't have time to have a lounging drinking afternoon. Great new place! Gluten free pizza was fantastic; tasty crust. Ordered the GF pizza with pesto, chicken, and mushrooms. Server suggested trying the bacon on top. Bacon was great, but sweeter than what I'd put on that pizza; I'd rather get it on a burger next time. Partner got the thin&crispy pizza with pesto, chicken, & mushrooms and he was impressed, especially with the taste of the sourdough base. They have GF bread /wraps for those that care. Great wine and beer selection, and their house wines are from my local favorite- Fallbrook Winery. Supporting other local businesses is rad. Staff was cheerful and competent. Out in this area for a kids sports game. Everything was good. Ordered a couple pizzas and a sub. Sub was perfect - perfectly dressed and seasoned. Everyone seemed to enjoy their pizzas. Good beer selection, great service and priced right. read more

Loved it Josh was amazing. Loved his service at his last place but he has elevated his game here. The Loaded Baked Potato Pizza was totally awesome. We also had the AED eggs and Blazin Bacon. The bacon was great but a little too spicy but I am a wuss. Tried the Mango beer and liked it. Want more options in beer than almost all IPA's. I am not an IPA fan. A group of us engaged in a dinner/birthday and I will most definitely return. It hasn't been open very long. I believe six weeks or so? Our party had the pleasure of talking to Chris ( the owner) who's brother a firefighter co-owner tragically and suddenly passed away. It was the firefighter brother (apologies for not having his name) who named the menu as it relates to the Emergency Medical System. Genius ! My guess ...the deceased brother saw this place as his future baby. For my first experience here is what I experienced: Good food, good service (Olivia was fantastic and patient with a large table), we could hear ourselves converse in conversation, nice wine list with many choices, nice ambiance, and a soul! The challenge for any restaurant, bar or grill is consistency. So far I am impressed and look forward to coming back. thank you ! read more

Wow! What a special find! We host an annual event nearby and always need a place to help us provide lunch for our volunteers. We initially went in to sample the food and see what they had to offer. HOSPITALITY was at the forefront! The food we tried was delicious and fresh. We decided to order for our event. Each day the food was prepared fresh and on time!!
