Wow welcome with open arms. Super cool vibe. Great music I sat down as single female and felt so comfortable.

Not sure why it took me 3 years to review this place but...here you go! This is my favorite local watering hole. Divey as divey can be! Small and dark place but it offers 2 pool tables, a jukebox, darts, about 6 TVs, cheap and solid drinks! This place is often packed with super friendly locals who'll be glad to make you feel very welcomed. Best bartenders! In fact the nicest bar staff ever, always a sweet smile, a joke, talks...

Update as of 5/5/2019 I am again rasing the stars for this place do to the fact that the person who hit the guy on the ground is no longer employed with this establishment. I am sorry to hear, though happy for one bartender that has gain new employment. For the new bartender Tina, she is good though she tends to water way down drinks. The only 5hing is that the AMI jukebox is broken too much. I play songs in order that I want to hear them and it decides that I want to hear them in a special order. I have used other AMI Jukeboxes and this is the only one that does that. Please fix. They do offer free food on Sunday early if you can make it.

Amazing drinks and service by Candace she literally made my first time here amazing and the drinks were soo goood!!!

Stopped in as part of my quest to explore the best dive bars in and around Oceanside. Tiffany the energetic and engaging bar tender here at this comfortable strip mall hole in the wall, provides the "up" energy and happy hour provides a $3.00 heavy pour well drink. And wonder of wonders, they had a little cheese/salami and cracker snack for gratis. An older mellow crowd: a few 40s-50s and some older well off types. Cool bar...show up and grab a drink, you won't be disappointed! Did I mention Steel tip darts?

Bartender kicked people out for telling her she over poured the who was drunk and passed out in the parking lot. She could care less.

Sure, the beer is the thing and they're bosses of it…read more But their Wine Wednesday is amazing! I will not post the price here, so as to give them the courtesy of our changing times, but I will tell you that you cannot find a glass of Austin Hope Cab for anything near their WW price! It has to be at a loss, thank you! We love it with the Spicy Thai Peanut salad, with added Salmon (which they get right every time). ...and also don't forget the beer.

First time here on a Saturday night and it was great!…read more We tried a beer and a seltzer - both crisp, cold, and refreshing. Blueberry and the raspberry lemonade - perfect on a hot day. Great flavor and so smooth. Food was really great - our table ordered the Buffalo chicken dip (huge portion of chips and the dip was delicious) for an appetizer- I think it arrived in three minutes. Carne asada tacos, fries and farmhouse salad with chicken and the beef sandwich were all super tasty. We had to try a dessert and it was hard to pick just one as they all sounded so good - landed on the apple crisp and it was perfect and the best warm caramel sauce. Food is fresh, good quality and everything was great. Service for drinks was the fastest I've ever encountered in any restaurant- seriously! For as large as this place is, they have it running like a machine with food runners and wait staff choreographed perfectly. It's also a neat atmosphere, lots of tables, full bar and good vibe. We enjoyed our meal and overall experience. Highly recommend.

I've been here many times, mostly for breakfast or lunch. Today I'm here for dinner. I decided to…read morehave a light lunch since I will be line dancing with friends nearby. The place has a cabin feel with the wood work and cozy feeling. Sometimes it's a little dark after coming in from outside so you need to let your eyes adjust so you can read the menu. Amanda was my server today. And like any of the other servers I had before her, all were friendly and helpful. I was opting for a soup, sandwich and salad for today's meal. I asked about the sour of the day. Amanda shared that it was Toscano soup. She described it has a broth/cream base with potato and sausage, and kale. I selected a balsamic dressing with my house side salad. My cocktail for today was an espresso martini. Amanda mentioned that it was not made with espresso coffee, that it was espresso liquor. I asked for Bailey's be added (additional $2.50 a shot to the martini). It was very good and I'm glad I added the Bailey's otherwise it would have been too strong. My meal was perfect! That Toscano soup was very flavorful. My grilled cheese sandwich was made with pepper jack cheese. I will try the traditional cheddar cheese next time. The sourdough bread had a stale taste to me. Not sure if it was, but that was my take on it. It didn't stop me from eating it all (came only half a sandwich). I pretty much finished my plate (a little salad left). All was great along with my cocktail. I enjoy coming here. They do have outdoor seating if you wish. There is street parking with a 2 hour limit. There is some all day parking no fee for either. This entire street is extra busy on the weekends.

I understand this place is a staple and go to for locals. I visited once years ago and it wasn't…read morememorable, so we decided to give it another try. Honestly, the food was overpriced for the quality, quantity, and flavor. The Caesar wrap was missing the dressing entirely, and even though I asked for extra croutons per the server's suggestion, there wasn't a single one on it. The French dip sandwich wasn't impressive either. It was over-salted with kind of boring bread. The chicken strips were good, but honestly the most memorable part of the meal was the side sauces, which we got overcharged for. Their buffalo sauce is 10/10 and the "spicy" BBQ wasn't actually spicy but still had good flavor. $90 later, I was disappointed thinking I could've made this whole meal better at home. I get that a busy Friday night means pushing orders out quickly, but that shouldn't come at the cost of flavor or quality. With that being said, our server was patient, kind and a sweet gal! Unfortunately, we won't be coming back

We were greeted and seated quickly, came on a Sunday around 8:30 pm…read more Our waiter was very knowledgeable with the menu, gave us suggestions that at first we thought were just him kinda talking the dishes up, but dang whoever is cooking in the kitchen knows what's up! lol They knew how to sear a steak better than most! and made some amazingly moist/juicy perfectly fried chicken! I promise you it's really that good, please try both. Our cocktails were PERFECTLY made. The staff was on it, I mean you can tell they work as a team. Different ppl checking on us (but not in an overbearing way) clearing plates, making sure the food was to our satisfaction. Always filling waters. Very friendly. I haven't had this good of a restaurant experience in years. Idk if we just got lucky or this is how it always is here since today was our first visit, but we will definitely be back and hopefully capture this magic again lol Ambiance was ok, the other patrons were a little loud but I expect that on a Sunday late at night. Decor was interesting and place has a cool lounge area. Big bar! :) Highly recommend this place! :)

We came here Labor Day weekend to celebrate my brother's birthday…read more My dad had called ahead to reserve a table since it was 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We were seated right away. We started with some appetizers - my favorite was the crispy brussel sprouts and cauliflower. Everything was perfectly roasted and there was a great kick with the habanero jam feta. The fly basket was pretty good, but keep in mind that the portion size is small - 3 of each of the hush puppies, fried shrimp, and fried green tomatoes. My husband ordered one of the specials which was a short rib pot pie - one of our favorite dishes of the night. The short rib was so tender and the dish was rich but in the perfect way. I ordered the tri tip sando. It was loaded up with meat and grilled peppers and onions. I upgraded my fries to truffle fries and those were really flavorful! My mom ordered the cioppino. She was a little disappointed by how many mussels there were in the dish - she had been hoping for more fish and shrimp. She said the flavor was good though. For dessert, we did opt to try the beignets. Honestly I could have done without them. They weren't as light and fluffy as they could've been. Overall, it was a good experience with great accommodations for our toddlers and great service.
