I love that this place has small and large portions for quite a bit of their entrees and even some apps. The ambiance was perfect and they have outdoor seething as well. Of the three restaurants I went to, this was the most reasonably priced. I ordered a glass of wine, app, small entree and dessert and without tip, my total bill was only $50 compared to $75 for the other two nights. The shrimp app with the lemon aioli was amazing and they had the best creme brûlée I've ever had. Caleb was such a great server with the most earnest smile. He took wonderful care of us. My husband got the seafood linguini which had very fresh seafood in it. Always a sign of a restaurant's quality. The scallops were particularly delicious being that the were done perfectly: very tender, not rubbery, done all the way through. The noodles were al dente and hardier (probably made with more egg? no, they are NOT egg noodles) which was surprisingly good for combining the tomatoey sauce and seafood together. I had the risotto. It was good with peas, arugula and tomato slices which freshened up and slightly lightened this traditionally heavy dish. It also added nice textures and bits of sweetness that were delightfully well complimented. However, I thought it needed...I don't know...something deeper? spicier? ...that final punch to take it home. Tangy! Yes, it needed the tang that traditional risotto gets from a well aged PARMESAN. I guess the cheese they use lacks flavor. Finally, we had french fries with the truffle aioli. I would say you had me at "truffle" but even before that, these fries are awesome. I went to this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon related to they allow dogs on the patio. As I got there at approximately 3 PM I only observed one other group of people which made me kind of nervous. The food was good but nothing spectacular but not all things have to be amazing. I only experienced calamari, shrimp appetizer and a salad but like I said It was good but if your looking for wow maybe not here. Three of us went out for a birthday dinner. Bottom line is that food and service were solid; wine selection was good but unfortunately, it is also old-school overpriced. A drink menu was provided with the dinner menu, but we had to ask for the bottle wine list. We started with Parmesan Shrimp (lg portion) and Crab Cakes. Shrimp was properly cooked, but the coating lacked the type of caramel color and crispiness typical of a fried product. Two sauces accompany the shrimp; the cocktail sauce was just slightly better than ketchup with lemon juice. We asked for additional horseradish - that made a huge difference. Crab cakes (2) were very full of lump crab meat and almost no filler; aioli had a nice lemon flavor; avocado on the plate was unnecessary, but was perfectly ripe. Dinners included Amish Roast Chicken, Lobster Ravioli & Lamb Shanks; both meat dishes were MORE than enough portion wise. The Ravioli could have been a little more generous. One had Tomato Basil soup. Soup was hearty, earthy and obviously made in house. It was the right combination of broth to tomato meat, however, a little too little basil for me - but I am always disappointed by the amount of basil in this product. Chicken was a bit dry, but had a beautiful skin crispiness color with a hint of spice. Garlic mashed potatoes accompany and they were disappointing in flavor. Lobster Ravioli was VERY good, lots of complex flavors; if you're looking for ravioli to have a cohesive sauce, this is not the dish. It arrived beautifully plated in a single file of cascading raviolis. The lamb shanks included polenta 'toast points'. These were very light in texture and very browned on the outside; creamier and lighter than most corn bread products. Lamb was cooked perfectly - falling off the bone and fork tender. It was finished with a very thin mushroom sauce; much more sauce and actual mushrooms would have enhanced the dish. Also on the plate were 'caramelized' brussel sprouts. I am usually a brussel sprout fan, and these were properly cooked, but a little too sweet for my taste. It seemed to me that they were rolled in a honey mixture and just tossed in the oven. This is not what I was hoping for when advertised as 'caramelized'. There were quite a few other menu items we are interested in trying and look forward to coming back. read more

We made reservations to celebrate our anniversary. My husband had pre-ordered flowers to the restaurant using Open Table. When we arrived a bit early, our table was ready and flowers were waiting for me. What a wonderful surprise! The manager came over within minutes with glasses of champagne and well wishes. The food was great with several GF options for me. Everything was delicious, and timely in delivery. The service was warm and friendly and very helpful with suggestions. Service was great. Atmosphere cool. We ordered a bruschetta for a starter. What happen to bruschetta being tomatoes, basil, and moz. This bruschetta had red peppers and onions on it. My husband and I got married over the weekend. We came to Thomas at Bacio to help make our day special. We had a small ceremony and after had 25 guests to Bacio for drinks and apps and a private dinner. Thomas was absolutely amazing! So accommodating and helpful. He and his staff did everything they could to make our wedding day was beautiful and easy. They set up the tables the way we wanted it, put up our decor for us. Excellent food and even better service! Out for my wife's birthday and had an excellent time. The server was very good and observant when we told her my wife was a vegetarian. Not only are things marked veggie on the menu, the staff is very conscious about knowing all the little details about ingredients. My fillet was cooked perfectly, the butternut ravioli was amazing. Although the restaurant is in the parking lot of a mall the ambiance inside and on the patio is beautiful. My husband and I started with a glass of wine and scotch, both with generous pours. I ordered the pesto crusted sea bass, which was delicious and my husband got the lobster ravioli. I loved the sea bass but in two of the ravioli pieces I bit pretty hard into lobster shell and the basil was a bit overpowering. For the price of the 5 ravioli pieces, I hoped for better. read more

Only if you drink water have a meal that is anything but the fish or large plates, and have no dessert or coffee can the price fall under $30. I can't find out what the pricing levels are based on, but the two dollar signs is misleading. Did not feel safe dining here during pandemic last night. Though the restaurant attempted to space seating, they ultimately sat a party of 4 at a table originally blocked for spacing considerations. My party was already seated in a booth, feeling comfortable with the spacing to that point. One member of the party that was seated at the originally blocked off table was within 3 feet of me. I mentioned it to the waitperson, and the manager offered to move us to a table by the bar (which was busy, so that seemed to defeat the purpose). We were almost done with our meal so there was really no point. They should have moved the other party, who were seated much after us, but that party was being belligerent and the management "gave in". I know it's a tough time for businesses, and I empathize, but if businesses are to stay open and operating they need to comply with health standards - regardless! read more

When in town, I go for the walleye (fish) at Bacio, it is different from any other place. Otherwise, italian or steaks are great as well. It is usually busy, so don't go without a reservation. It is loud so try avoiding tables close to the kitchen, which adds to the noise. read more

Wasn't really impressed given the price, but we'll try again soon since this is right down the road from us. Service is awesome, and the decor is really cool (like the big skylight), but the place is so open and gets insanely packed.
