Delicious gelato place with several choices for flavors . I ordered their blueberry & ricotta gelato and it was absolutely the highlight of my month. It is a seasonal flavor so make sure to stop by and try it! The employees there are super helpful, beautiful interior. I would love to try their affogato next time around.

One of my favorite places to come to for dessert after having dinner in Sawtelle! They have a variety of different flavors ranging from sweet and fruity. The gelato itself is rich and flavorful. They have a variety of sizes and offer both cone and cup. The smallest is piccolo which you can get two flavors. You're able to get up to three flavors with the regular size. My go to flavors are strawberry and raspberry, it's perfectly refreshing, fruity, and delicious. Not too heavy which I appreciate! The store itself is clean, bright, and cute. The service has always been amazing every time I've been with friendly staff who offer samples and give insight. They have plenty of seating outdoors! Love that they also sell pre packaged pints that you can take home! Parking can get a bit tricky and there is street parking.

Okay this is a high end ice cream I would say! Lots of flavors and really tasteful The decor they did fits the high end theme as well

Such a cute, aesthetic spot for a sweet treat! The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. Since it was my first time, they were kind enough to offer samples because they have so many flavors to choose from. I tried quite a few, and honestly all of them were delicious, which made it really hard to pick just one. They also offer cookies and brownies. The cookie I tried was thin and crunchy with just the right amount of sweetness. I would definitely recommend stopping by for dessert.

food: I got the Picolo cup, which lets you get two flavors max. overall, similar to gelato in tally but not 100% the same smoothness. 9/10. - strawberry super latte: if you love strawberry and fruity flavors, this one is for you. It was refreshing and light. - hazelnut: if you love hazelnut, then you have to get this! It is a very strong flavor, a little bit chocolatey too. You won't regret getting this. If you're borderline of the biggest fan of nuts and or chocolate, then this might be overpowering for you. service: the server was very nice and let me try as many flavors as I wanted. I tried about five or six. ambiance: it feels energizing and aesthetic in there through a seating outside but on a Friday night it definitely got too busy to sit there so I ended up just walking around in the area. On the same street there's a ton of different food spots so it's easy just to walk around and look and enjoy your gelato.

Great gelato shop with plenty of different flavors! I enjoyed the yogurt bianco one the most! It had just the right balance between tart and sweet. The service was also great, they do let you sample flavors which is nice when there's so many choices. Lastly, there is seating outside but parking might be tough in this area.

4* Food 4.5* Service 5* Ambiance Finally! Sawtelle has a gelato, coffee and sweets shop that isn't over the top expensive or lacking ambiance. This place sets the mood for a nice European cafe to escape to after a delightful day of amazing Asian flavors on Sawtelle row of restaurants. The coffee is good, the sweets are classic, and the ice cream looked good although we did not have any.... saving that for next time. They do charge extra tax for dinning in, which is a little dissapointing.... after all it's just coffee. So if you want to enjoy their ambiance, be prepared to pay for it.

I've been here a few times now. The portion size of your cone really depends on who serves it. There's no consistency to the size and they don't weigh anything. It's a guessing game ! Tonight this young lady helped me and it was so absorbently small for $12.25 for a single waffle cone. At least give people what they pay for! The amount of gelato that was in my cone was pathetic. In addition, the cone didn't taste very fresh. Only time will tell if I ever come back?

Ambiance: it's a modern and cozy Italian coffee and ice cream shop, limited seats inside, few tables in the outdoor patio area Service: slow and careless, the cashier made mistake on my order and it took a lot efforts to get it fixed Food & Drink: standard gelato with seasonal flavors Mousse di Pistacchio - **** PISTACHIO MOUSSE, combination of the signature Pistacchio gelato, chunks of pistachios, and crunchy pistachio cream, recommend Pistacchio - **** Authentically Italian-grown pistachios in a delightful Pistacchio gelato, recommend 3 Cioccolati - *** 3 CHOCOLATES, the three chocolates recipe is a delicious blend of 60% cacao, 70% cacao and Stracciatella, thick texture and tasted like brownie Olli's Strawberry cheesecake - *** very sweet Crema Torino - **** FULL HAZELNUT EXPERIENCE, rich in hazelnut flavor, recommend TIRAMISU - *** DOUBLE MASCARPONE, average Affogato al Caffe - **** A scoop of gelato with a shot of espresso, rich in flavors, recommend Price: small portions and overpriced for its quality, not worth $20+ per person

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Five stars customer service from Vicente. When I walk in he greeted with smile and explained all the flavors. Asked me what I usually like and recommended me a few. This place is located in heart of Sawtelle. Parking could be challenging as usual. I ate dinner at close by restaurant so wasn't really problem for me. After having some bad experience in other locations I was a bit hesitant to try this one but my experience was very pleasant here. They have nice outdoor seating area and good to hang out with friends. Highly recommended and I will definitely be back.

The Baseline: The Ice Cream/Gelato Baseline consists of having quality dairy product, variety of flavors/mix-ins, and serving quantity for the price. Handles goes over the baseline on all marks. Food: Got a regular with three flavors today (coffee/peanut butter/chocolate types) and it was creamy and good. Service: Fast, friendly, efficient service today. Ambiance: It feels comforting in the store like I am walking into an Italian high end cafe. Love the decor.

I came here to get Italian gelato after dinner for dessert. It was so good! I got the Tiramisu gelato with pistacchio cream ice cream cone with nuts. My tummy was satisfied! Service was great and ambiance is great too! It got really crowded after we left around 8:30pm. Overall, I would come back!

Bacio di Latte is a place I've often walked by - and skipped over because of my dislike of very sweet sweets. However, I was finally roped into trying it out; their samples made it easier to pick between... their two Pistachio flavors: Pistacchio and Mousse di Pistacchio. While it was a tough decision, I eventually went with the Mousse di Pistacchio since it had pistacchio bits in there; I'm a fan of nuts, what can I say? The mousse version was indeed sweeter, which I wanted to avoid, but I couldn't avoid the temptation. The pistacchio, though, was creamier and a crowd favorite. Either way, couldn't be disappointed. Had I not known one or the other existed, I'd still be a happy camper. Cup or cone? I chose the cone version. While it ended up being a sticky mess like my usual ice cream cone munches, my mouth enjoyed finally trying Bacio di Latte though my wallet might not have... because I plan to return!

Then, an eternity ago, it closed and we were sad. Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.

My boyfriend tried the vanilla soft serve with Nutella filled Aboong. The Oreo taiyaki was absolutely delicious! It came out super fresh, they filled both the body AND tail with Oreo so every bite had a great ratio of chewy fish and filling. This location always fills their Taiyaki evenly which I appreciate, it's much better than the ones I've tried in Sawtelle. It's really affordable too, so definitely come try it.
