    Banana Milk

We ordered the Okinawan Black Sugar matcha and the Banana Milk matcha. The Okinawan black Sugar matcha is rich in flavor and I would absolutely order it again. The flavor isn't watered down and actually tastes like a creamy matcha. The banana milk matcha is also delicious. It rivals Phin Smith's banana matcha (which if you know you know). Would absolutely come back to try new ones. Service was great! Only one guy taking orders and making the drinks. He was very kind and made the drinks in a timely matter. The cafe is small but very clean and good vibes! I hope more people check this place out!

Drinks: I tried the Okinawan Black Sugar Matcha and Strawberry Milk Matcha. The first sip really made me appreciate the ceremonial grade matcha. So far, this is one of the best matcha places in West LA and the surrounding areas that I've tried. My favorite was the Okinawan Black Sugar. I think the rich, slightly smokey sweetness complements the matcha really well. As for the Strawberry Milk Matcha, I personally would have loved a little more strawberry flavor. Food: I ordered the Dorala, which comes with red bean, milk whipped cream, and strawberry. It was delicious! I'd love to try the other flavors next time. Service: Excellent! The staff were friendly and helpful. Ambiance: Casual, small, grab and go setting.

I think this place has one of the best matcha lattes that I have had. I tried the Earl Grey and yuzu sparkling matcha and they were all delicious. The yuzu sparkling matcha was refreshing but the earl grey matcha latte was absolutely delicious. The earl grey really added to the earthiness of the matcha. This place is also located at Sawtelle too so it's a perfect spot to hang out and grab lunch/dinner afterward. Highly recommend!

Really impressed with this matcha shop! Drinks center a strong matcha flavor that are fragrant, nutty, and not overtly sweet. We tried their Okinawan Matcha and Strawberry matchas which we felt were well made. Drinks are strong which I really appreciate and prefer to some coffee shops that are more milk and ice heavy. Service staff were friendly and helpful with our orders and the shop is well kept and organized. I'd definitely come back to try more drinks as well as their featured desserts/sweet treats

This new small matcha shop is the next big thing to open on Sawtelle. The yuzu refresher is exactly what I needed during this summer heat. Im excited to go back to try the dorayaki

Stopped by for their grand opening!! This is definitely one of the best matcha lattes I've had in a long time, and probably one of the best on Sawtelle. The bright and herbal notes of the matcha flavor is really just excellent, and the freshly made dorayaki was delicious. We got the strawberry milk and Okinawa black sugar matcha drinks - to my surprise, the strawberry was definitely sweeter and creamer, while the black sugar had the layer of creamy foam on top but was more matcha forward in the drink.

Might be my new favorite matcha in the city. Fate drew me to order something I've never heard of - the Earl Grey Lemon. It's such a delicate balance of the earl grey, the lemon and the single-origin signature Yame Ichibancha green tea sourced from Fukuoka (I googled it) matcha. This some big body matcha. Some thick pretty matcha twerkin in this cool designed cup matcha. The quality is so vividly apparent from the taste. A world of difference from most spots that been hopping on the matcha train. And the two dudes running the shop were super cool.

Their matcha is just fabulous, Dorala truly makes it perfectly, it's very high quality matcha. I tried the Okinawan Black Sugar which was a nice hit of sweetness without being overwhelmingly sweet. The whipped topping is so delicious. The barista was also super nice and quick!

This place isn't bad, solid matcha! It is a small shop but the staff were nice and quick. I got the Okinawan black sugar matcha and my complaint with this is the amount of ice the ice chunks are huge and mine was filled to the top. The foam didn't look as fluffy as pictured on the menu or compared to other reviews I saw. It was pretty pricey I believe 8 dollars or 8.50? Nice flavor but I'm not sure if I think it's worth the price point. I do want to go back to try again and also get the dorayaki they offer. Next time I'll just ask for light ice!

    Cloud latte

I tried dorala through door dash. First and foremost they package the items very securely and safely which is always a plus. I tried their cloud matcha latte and their double matcha dorayaki. Both were incredible! The matcha is very rich and strong. Great cup size as well. I will be definitely trying their other menu items as well. So glad this spot opened near by !

I've tried so many matcha shops in La & this one is absolutely delicious. I got the Okinawan Black Sugar Matcha. The ceremonial grade is amazing, it is so rich in flavor! It is definitely ranked in my top 3 favorites.

Real Authentic Japanese Matcha open at the heart of Sawtelle! All Staff are very kind and friendly Matcha drinks are decent flavor and cozy taste Japanese waffles called Dorayaki also good size and delicious Very comfort sweetness Definitely come back!

    Strawberry milk matcha

Found my new go-to matcha spot in Sawtelle! I tried their strawberry milk matcha, and it was perfectly balanced. You can really tell they use high-quality matcha. The staff were super friendly as well. ll definitely be back to try their dorayaki and the rest of their matcha drinks!

Tsukemen and Spicy Tsukemen Dipping Noodles: Both of these were delicious. The noodles have the perfect chewy texture and the chashu is tender and full of flavor. The dipping broth is to die for! Rich and savory, it is exactly what you want to dunk your cold noodles into. Chashu Ramen: My daughter ordered this one. The broth is a bit lighter than the tsukemen, but still very savory. A great option if you want something more traditional. The staff is always nice and the service is fast, even with how busy they get. Overall, this is a ramen spot worth the drive to and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good bowl of noodles.

The most memorable thing of this ramen was the creaminess of its broth. I liked the tsukemen dish more.

The spicy GOAM with crispy noodles as the base was great, definitely not as much of a spicy flavor as I thought, as it seemed the main source was pickled jalapeños tucked into the layers. I personally am not a fan of a concentrated spicy jalapeño bite so I ended up not getting much spice. However the rest of the pancake was very good! The loaded Kaisen was indeed piled high with seafood, but I thought the flavor was a bit light in the pancake itself. The seafood did seem fresh and tender though! The hamburg omurice was absolutely delicious. Something about their demiglace sauce here was special, I'm usually not a fan but this time I ate every drop! The steak was also tender and juicy, a perfect combination with the dish as a whole. At a late lunch time (2PMish) it wasn't too busy, and service was pretty quick! This is the same restaurant group my college bestie and I last dined at (in Gardena) that she recommended. Shin-Sen-Gumi Chanko was her last recommendation, and she was Japanese so I feel like she would know what legit Japanese food is. :) All the skewers were delicious, the ramen broth we requested to be not too salty and they were able to accommodate. We love the chicken heart so much we ordered seconds. The gizzard skin was the only one I felt like we could have skipped, too chewy for me. The sushi taco were yummy too, highly recommend those, I love the pork belly eggplant and ordered 2 sets of those too, have yet to try something similar elsewhere... so happy we were able to pay them a visit. My favorite items were the chicken meatballs, they were juicy and flavorful. The spice tuna on crispy rice was ok, the rice was a bit too hard. The cucumber salad was good too, nice was to add some acidity to the menu. Overall good place and I would come back again.
