Such a cool coffee shop operating from an Airstream. The quality is excellent. I tried the banana cream top latte and mascarpone latte. I prefer the banana as it was a bit sweeter but still being able to taste the expresso. The service was friendly.

Cool little setup to grab some coffee or a matcha. I went with the strawberry matcha and it did not disappoint. The strawberry puree was so fresh and the matcha itself was top quality. If you're ever in the Venice area, give this place a go!

Was eating at Cafe Gratitude down the block and they recommended this place It's a trailer parked on the street, there's a bench you can sit and sip your coffee or walk around Got the flat white and it was a nice strong espresso (but not bitter) and so smooth. Barista was super nice and patient. If I lived nearby I'd be by way too often. Highly recommended. Great flat white and seems like they have lots of fun specialties. Parking is going to be street parking, meters or in the residential neighborhood.

Great espresso being poured at this local shop. Friendly staff working out of an Airstream. Cool neighborhood along Rose Ave, go out and show this local spot some love! Pro Tip: small bench to enjoy your coffee and people watch

Really cute aesthetic truck vibe and owner is so sweet, on 2 days of a week he lets you pay whatever amount you want. Matcha quality though was too light in taste. Its a matcha I would get if I had no other option but not my favorite. Maybe Ill have to come back for his other drinks on menu or if he changes the matcha he gets. Im used to authentic matcha sourced from japan and his didnt taste like it at least when i went.

fig leaf cold brew was good! most notably, the service was a bit awkward - there was one person manning the truck so there's a little wait (totally fine), but he wasn't friendly and seemed annoyed we were there. could be a one-off day but not a great feeling to spend 8-9$ a drink and be treated like an inconvenience! would consider trying their matcha if in the area to see if anything changes

OVERALL: QUALITY MEETS QUAINT! In my opinion, Saint Maxime is the best espresso + ceremonial matcha spot on Rose Ave in Venice, and quite possibly the best on the Westside of LA. It is a thoughtful blend of the highest quality beverages with genuinely unique flavor offerings, paired with the charm of ordering from an impeccably kept Airstream that feels both nostalgic and intentional. I love their classic cappuccino, but the special menu is creatively unique, if you're into that. Interesting options like the Fig Leaf Cream Top Cold Brew and the Banana Cream Top Matcha Latte are truly delicious and beautifully balanced, without being a cloying sugar bomb. This has become a favorite quick and easy yet elevated activity with friends on a quintessential sunny Sunday in LA. Also the owner who is always there running the show is super kind and has clearly mastered barista artistry which adds to the overall experience. Saint Maxime takes pride in their powerfully compact business and it comes through with every sip.

Coffee: A luxury I started late in life. For no other reason than I never needed that "get up and go" rush. As I got older, my wife turned me on to cappuccino's, latte's and espresso's. I finally understood the utility of coffee. Then after understanding the utility, I started enjoying the flavor. My absolute favorite cup of coffee (ever) was in Kona, Hawaii, drinking, of course, Kona coffee. Nothing, anywhere, could touch the flavor, richness, smell and drinkability of that cup in Kona, Hawaii. That is, until today, in Venice Beach, CA! Saint Maxime Coffee was set up in this super sexy retro Airstream Travel Trailer, serving coffee so good, I didn't add sugar or anything. It was a stand alone perfect cup of coffee, just as good as my cup of Kona years ago. Yes, it made my eyes roll. Yes, I savored every sip. Yes, I was sad after I finished this cup, as I didn't want it to end. Yes, I am sad this travel trailer is 2,000 miles from my home. You can completely guarantee when ever I'm within 100 miles of Saint Maxime Coffee, I'm making "The Drive"!

Grabbed an iced strawberry matcha! It was pretty good, you can tell they use fresh strawberries I wish the strawberries were a little more ripe. The owner was super nice! It's in a cute little trailer.

Nikita is the owner and barista and my husband and we love to get our mornings bevs from him. He's so knowledgeable and has such a calming energy about him. I am somewhat of a matcha snob and love that he uses ippodo matcha (the best bright green ceremonial grade) and not to mention he carefully crafts his own syrups for a variety of drinks he makes. The ambiance is also one of a kind, out of a very chicly decorated airstream with some seating outside. i wanna gatekeep but máxime is truly on another caliber. They deserve it!

Solid variety of pour overs and specialty drink. Highly recommended to visit if you in Venice area. Also they carry Lavender Raf and Fig Leaf Cream Top which are both excellent options.

I work around Abbot Kinney and am always looking for a decently priced lunch option. Enter Noods. I…read moreabsolutely love noodles, so I was beyond excited to try this spot. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- especially for an indecisive person like me -- pointing out what's popular, what they personally like, and what they recommend. I chose to go the "build your own" route and landed on: 1. Base: Chili Garlic 2. Noodles: Yakisoba 3. Protein: Fire-grilled chicken 4. Toppings: Carrots, cabbage, red peppers, sesame seeds, crunchy chili garlic The portions are solid -- I easily got two meals out of one bowl. Since I like spice, they gave me a side of their spicy sauce, which added both sweetness and heat. With all the sauce, it was definitely a bit messy, but the flavor was bold and the kick was real. The noodles and chicken were cooked well, though next time I might choose something a little less intense so I can better appreciate all the ingredients. With that much heat and garlic, some of the other flavors got lost. All in all, lunch for about $25 on Abbot Kinney is a great deal, and I'll definitely be back to try more combinations!

The food was made fresh so served hot and the taste was delicious. HOWEVER. I did takeout and didn't look at the container until I opened it to eat. Major disappointment and concern as their thin plastic containers are most likely not heat resistant, which means chemicals leach into food. Cool concept as a store offering only noodle dishes but PLEASE change your serving and takeout containers!!

I had ingested several bites of it, (with hot sauce), but I couldn't take another bite. The meat was chemically contaminated & I got sick not long after for the whole night. It was important for me to tell the person that runs the stand. I had the best of intentions to help this business and wanted nothing in return. I walked up to the stand & asked the woman who takes the cash, (with the sharp eyebrows), if I could please speak to the person in charge, (or owner). At first she ignored me & then said, "I don't understand - no speak English." I asked who speaks English and she sent me to the back of the line by the cooks. I stood there for another 10 minutes and no one wanted to talk to me or answer my question. I told them that there was a big problem with their meat the night before & had brought back the entire meal, so they could try the meat. No one did anything except talk to each other in Spanish, (which I understood). The cook graciously offered me a replacement meal & tried to problem solve. The tall man, who spoke English, (as shown next to cashier Karen in the photo), was going to give me a replacement meal. I waited 15-20 minutes. I asked for the chicken quesadilla, and the vitriol that came out of cashier Karen, who said she didn't speak English was unbelievable. She refused to give me any food and said I had to pay $6 for the replacement taco. I tried to tell her that it was a replacement and she kept yelling aggressively at me and said, "no - you pay $6. You're not getting anything " and that I, "never bought any taco." She became angry and verbally abusive because I was getting a replacement meal, as a solution to my getting chemically poisoned. She was a bully and aggressively yelling at me to humiliate me in front of the other customers & personnel. By this time she had no problem speaking English. (A group of young ladies started talking to me, felt bad that I was the focus of cashier Karen's rudeness. They complimented me & wished me a good night.) The guy next to cashier Karen handed me the bag with the quesadilla. I asked cashier Karen for her name and she ignored me. Then I asked the guy next to her what her name was and he put his hands together like duck lips and rudely opened and closed his hand at me, (meaning that I'm talking to much) This was extremely inappropriate & as soon as I left, I threw the food out, because I didn't trust or hold it past any of them to have put something nasty in my food. By the way, there was never a possibility that I would be refunded. By this time I was so upset, I was sorry that I had generously tipped them the night before. Even cashier Karen's response to the tip had been of surprise; but then I remembered she had not even acknowledged it or said thank you, after receiving it. What this staff does not, is that I owned and operated a successful fine dining restaurant & wedding venue for 17 years. I have done consulting for small restaurant businesses, pro bono, in order for the businesses to financially thrive. I know how food is cooked, how it should be stored, when the oil needs to be changed, marketing, accounting, et al., as well as the health dept's requirements, in order to keep the public healthy and well. What I believe happened to the meat and reason I took my food back to the taco stand; is because they had been out of chicken. Since there was a meat shortage, more carne asada needed to be barbecued quickly. An abundance of lighter fluid was used to quicken the process & it possibly got on the grill, where the meat is placed; and the cooking process started well before the coals were ready. It shouldn't matter whether you go to a restaurant, food truck or taco stand, customers should be treated with respect, kindness & consideration - and it's called customer service. A customer shouldn't be lied to, yelled at, insulted and humiliated by any employee of the business. It should be run in a transparent and professional manner. I'm 64 yrs young & have never written one negative comment or review about any restaurant. Nor have I ever been treated with such disrespect, malice and ill intent. I felt it important to tell my story because nobody should experience what I did; in eating compromised food and then being made to feel like I did something bad. This is what bullies do and I've never had a problem in clarifying right from wrong, as well as responsibility and accountability. I didn't have a choice and had to give a star.
