Love love love this spot! Perfect matcha to get your day started off- not too sweet! BF loved his latte but couldn't taste the sweet potato post mix. Service was fast & the place has very subtle cute Halloween decor. Only wish the tables weren't so small so they could accommodate more laptop action. Will definitely be coming back for some more drinks

Love finding new coffee spots when I'm out and about. This one is located in a shopping plaza, so parking was not an issue. The inside was light with warm tones and very inviting. They have small little tables. The menu wasn't extensive which is nice and they also had seasonal items. I got something off the season menu which sounded so interesting. I give credit for originality! It was an apple mango matcha latte, yeah never seen that before on a menu! I asked them to make it less sweet which they did but said I would get less of the mango puree, which is fine by me. The drink was very interesting and quite refreshing on a hot Sunday afternoon. My husband got an iced latte and chocolate croissant and both were solid.
Found my new favorite coffee shop!!!! I usually get my iced lattes at Chamberlain but I wanted to try something new. Tried their cookies and chestnut latte, which was incredible. Also bought the brown sugar blueberry latte for a friend and she liked it. Customer service was outstanding. Nicest people ever! Also, the drinks are a bit less expensive than other places around the Westside.

I really enjoyed the seasonal mango Matcha. It was not too sweet and the Matcha tasted great! The hojicha was also great tasting and was not overly sweet! That ambience was somewhat busy, but also workable if you needed to jump on your laptop Overall great experience and will come back
Back for my second time and just as impressed! This time I tried one of their seasonal specials. I love that they have a decaf espresso option for their drinks. The barista even recommended hojicha which has less caffeine and it tasted great! Cherry dalgona hojicha latte: 5/5
Yum, I wish we lived closer because these drinks were so delicious! We parked on the side street for free but they do have parking lot as well. The interior is very nice and the cashier / barista was very welcoming and nice as well. The drinks were so delicious. My favorite part was that they weren't overly sweet. I would definitely be a regular if I lived closer!
This is my new favorite matcha place on the Westside besides Faregrounds (and TBD on Amai and Bonsai because I'm going there next)! It was a perfect balance of sweetness from the strawberry and matcha. I love that the matcha lattes are vegan because some places premix the fruit purées into the milk, but this place is fully customizable with milks. I've already spent $40 here in matcha this past month but worth every dollar!
Finally got a chance to try Way Home coffee! This Korean inspired coffee shop is located in a small plaza with parking, which is super convenient especially in this area. The space is so beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed, with some small tables and benches that make it good for working/chatting. I got the blueberry duo matcha which was soo delicious! The matcha tasted high quality and the drink was so refreshing and creamy without being overly heavy. Such a cute and inviting spot! I'll definitely find myself coming back.
Cold brew was meh. Sweet potato Einspanner was delicious! Such a unique drink and the sweet potato cold foam was quite tasty. Definitely expensive but good to try once.
No Ambiance & Service review. This was a delivery. I ordered the Brown Sugar Blueberry Latte and the Apple Mango Matcha. Both were delicious, unique, and refreshing. Brown Sugar Blueberry Latte was my favorite here. Well-balanced sweetness.
My friend and I went to this cafe for its ambiance. The place was busy but still relaxing, with a few people on their laptops, though I didn't see many outlets. We didn't try any of the food but will be back soon for the drinks.

I used to come here almost every morning for a matcha and croissant. The matcha is creamy and they have a really good vanilla cream top and don't forget about the super yummy honey butter croissant. My ideal time was always around 7:30am right before work. Everyone was always super friendly and nice and they make your order quick. One day I drive over like it was any other day and I was they where closed. I quickly look them up and they changed their hours! IM SO SAD. As a healthcare worker who goes into work early and gets out late sadly I will never get to enjoy their matcha again. So sad because this place is super good. So curious why they changed their hours to open at 9. I believe a good coffee shop should always open at least early enough for the early birds before work !! Earl Grey Misugaru Matcha Latte (10/10) - this matcha was amazing and I think it is the best matcha latte in the westwood/ucla area. the earl grey syrup (which is house made) and misugaru cream paired perfectly with the matcha latte and it is genuinely the perfect balance of both flavors. the matcha is hand whisked which is a huge plus and this specific latte comes in one size only but it is big. Parking - there is parking in the strip mall but it is only limited to 10 minutes for the dedicated Way Home Coffee but there are other spaces available that are 30 minutes as the limit. if you want to stay in this cafe for longer or are unable to find parking there is plenty of residential parking that doesn't require a permit when I went. Service and Seating - there is a lot of seating for the amount of people that usually come in and the decorations of the cafe is really nice and aesthetic. the staff is really nice and helpful and they didn't hesitate to answer my questions with a smile :). read more

Stopped in after a long run for a hot drink. They don't sell basic plain hot tea unfortunately so I opted for a hot matcha. Service was quick and there's quite a bit of indoor only seating. Hot Matcha Latte 2/5, I would not order this again, minimal matcha flavoring, I really only enjoyed the fact that it was hot and I was cold. I got this without sweetener (fine) but I do not think sweetener would make this any better read more

Coming to Way Home Coffee is always such a treat. The cups are definitely on the smaller side, but I don't mind it considering the drinks are so well made & dessert-like, without being overly sweet. My only complaint would be the $1 up-charge for alternative milk given there is not much milk in each drink. All the pastries i've tried have also been delicious. Interior is spacious & vibey. Free & easy parking in the lot, even on weekends. read more
Cute new cafe that opened up nearby! I really like the interior design and found their little tree circle area a cute spot to sit around to sip on the drink with my sister. There wasn't much of a line, and street parking was accessible. We ended up trying their sweet potato einspanner and their banana bread one (?) I forgot the exact name for the banana one, but it was seasonal. Both of our drinks,, kinda just tasted like regular coffee without the hint of the flavor we had requested. I got the brown sugar blueberry latte & the cereal milk croissant. Even though there was brown sugar & blueberry flavored into the coffee, the espresso was still prominent. I appreciate that since sometimes, the flavors overpower the actual coffee at other places. I really liked the drink. The croissant was absolutely delicious. I didn't take a picture of it because it looks like a plain croissant on the outside. The "cereal milk" whip inside was delicate and not too sweet. Thicker than whipped cream but not too dense that it overpowered the flaky croissant. I will be craving this croissant. read more

I recently tried Way Home Cafe and was pleasantly surprised. The cafe has a minimalistic design and unique interior. I ordered a blueberry matcha latte and it was delicious. It's definitely not your typical creamy matcha. It was lighter, more refreshing, and unique. The cups were also super round and adorable. The service was friendly and patient. I usually order my matcha less sweet, but I trusted the barista's recommendation and kept the sweetness as is. It was perfectly sweet in my opinion. I would definitely be interested in trying their other drinks and will be returning. read more
Way Home Coffee has been on my bookmarks for a while, so I was excited to finally check it out while I was in the area on a Thursday afternoon. Parking was surprisingly easy there were a couple of spots right in front but I can definitely see it being a challenge during busier times. Walking in, I was immediately impressed by how beautiful the space is. The aesthetic is thoughtfully done, with a calm, cozy vibe that makes it a great place to sit and stay awhile. There were a few people studying, and I especially loved the unique touch of the tree in the middle it really adds character. Service was great. Both baristas were friendly and welcoming (I feel bad I forgot their names even after asking!), but they truly made the experience better. For drinks, my friend ordered the sweet potato Einspanner latte and I got the blueberry latte. The sweet potato wasn't bad but wasn'tmy favorite, but the blueberry latte was actually really enjoyable definitely something different from your typical coffee shop offerings. I appreciate that they have unique, seasonal-style drinks that stand out. If I had one note, it would be the portion/serving style. The cups are wider and topped with cold foam, so it's a little hard to tell how much actual coffee you're getting.. Overall, it's a cool spot with a great vibe, friendly service, and creative drinks. First thing I noticed was the nice Japandi decor. There is actually a good amount of seating inside (albeit uncomfortable lol) to hang out. I went on Friday afternoon and it was quiet. Parking is bad. It's located in a small strip mall with other businesses. Street parking almost nonexistent lol. Like everyone else was saying, the size of the cup is laughable. Been meaning to try Way Home Coffee for some time, and I grabbed some drinks to-go while running errands in the area. I didn't stay too long inside, but the café is quite spacious with plenty of natural lighting to chat and/or get work done; it's near UCLA, so lots of college students. I opted for the sweet potato einspänner and matcha latte with cream top (added an extra shot of matcha). Drinks were served in rounded cups, which looked cute, but on the small side: for $9.50 per drink, it was pretty steep for the quantity received. Any case, the sweet potato einspänner was delicious: sweet, solid coffee base, and indulgent. Not sure if I actually got sweet potato flavor, but there was a subtle earthiness to it. Matcha cream top was a bit disappointing: maybe it was because I added extra matcha, but it tasted chalky, as though the matcha powder wasn't completely mixed in. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten extra matcha, so I don't fault the café itself. Overall, a cute café with interesting drinks, but a bit pricey for the quantity. Glad I finally got to try it! read more
landed at LAX and was in need for a coffee / matcha fix. Rave reviews from other yelpers, so definitely needed to give this place a try. It's a fairly large size shop with one big round table in the corner and bench seating on the perimeters as well as long benches making a square in the middle of the floor plan. It's bright and airy. Service is friendly and helpful as there's interesting flavor combinations and options. Got the seasonal creamsicle matcha and it was wonderful - refreshing, light with a perfect blend of fresh orange, cream/milk and matcha. Best as an iced drink, which means it's also beautiful and picture ready. this is seasonal, so get it before it's gone! also got the sweet potato Einspanner latte - super rich, robust espresso with a rich, creamy and slightly sweet cold foam. It tasted like a espresso milkshake. so good. so filling. This is on their regular menu as a specialty drink. Great place and will come back! read more
Who said you can't get good coffee in Westwood! I've lived in the area for years and have struggled to find a good coffee shop. I was super excited to see this new coffee spot that opened up in a little shopping center occupying the old coffee bean location. After some instagram snooping I quickly learned that although it's only been open for about a month it's quickly become a fave. Not your traditional basic coffee spot, this Korean inspired coffee shop was perfect. I tried the sweet potato einspanner and I asked them to make me a special request iced latte with banana and it was absolutely perfect! The staff were all super nice, welcoming and friendly. I'm so excited to have a new place for my daily coffee in my hood! read more

Went on a Sunday at 10am. When I went the store was empty but by the time I left at 11am the store was packed and there was a line to order! Interior is nice and clean but only one dining table. The rest of the seats are benches and stand alone single tables - not a place for many groups to study but lots of seating for a quick chat with friends. Cereal Croissant - creamy filling with cinnamon cereal inside. Tasted good but wasn't a fan of the texture since the cereal got soggy from the filling. Coffee - forgot what I ordered honestly but tasted good! On the sweeter side but I usually drink black/cold brew so personal preference thing. Would encourage you to try their specialties though :) Overall good experience just very busy towards the end. Parking is also decent as they have a lot in front and the business around it are usually active more at night. read more

Love their creamsicle matcha latte! You can still taste a strong amount of matcha flavor even with the orange. It's a seasonal item and I'm already sad for when it's no longer on the menu! I hope it becomes a permanent item. The service is friendly and is quick. There's not much seating with only one full size table and a sprinkle of tiny drink tables so it's more of a grab and go spot for me. read more

Just like the cafe's name calls out, the ambiance gave that relaxing homey space. It suited solo visitor or 2-3 people group max per table and the place was pretty busy. Nonetheless, ordering process was speedy including getting the drinks ready. Their favorites appeared to be their specialty einspanner drinks as well as the seasonal menu particularly the creamsicle. We had their Sweet Potato Einspanner and Creamsicle Latte, both of which came with cream top, but surprisingly still let the bold coffee flavor stood out despite being very creamy at the same time so you got the two great things in one go. If you preferred something less creamy you might wanna go with the latter, but bear in mind the orange flavor was tad strong. read more
Decided to try out this new coffee/matcha spot 10 min away from UCLA! We ordered the matcha latte (comes unsweetened unless you add-on sweetener) w/ lavender syrup add-on + creamsicle matcha latte, both with whole milk. The lavender was kind of overpowering the drink, so I didn't really taste much of the matcha. I preferred the creamsicle matcha latte more--it's like a creamsicle in a drink format! I just wish that the matcha taste was stronger for both drinks, but I will say that for the creamsicle matcha, I could taste the matcha more. Neither drinks were overly sweet, so that is a plus. Parking was a breeze when we came on a Saturday morning. Service was super friendly and they also give out free stickers at the cashier! I liked the aesthetic of the cute cups; it may look small, but it's pretty wide and comparable in size to other Ktown drink portions (of course I would appreciate if the size was bigger though for the price you pay). The decor is cute and the vibes were nice, but I wouldn't recommend studying here. There seemed to be only 2-3 outlets, 2 of which were located in awkward locations that weren't too close to the tables. The tables themselves were quite small (think portable stand desk) and there's only one large table in the corner that would be optimal for doing work. Nice to finally have a Korean-style cafe out on the west side! It opened not too long and there is definitively still a crowd by the time I got there a little before 10AM ** Location: located in a shared plaza with a small but decent parking lot. I had no issues with finding parking in late morning even as I was leaving and the cafe for more crowded ** Ambiance: there's a decent amount of seating inside but limited in terms of "larger" tables if you're looking to work here. Mostly shared bench seating with a multitude of small side tables and I think I only saw one large today. Better place to just sit and chat than actually get work done imo but the music wasn't too egregiously loud amongst the background of chatter. The aesthetic reminds me much of the other Korean cafes in Ktown and in parts of Korea --woodsy/neutrals with organic shapes. Regardless, there was still a crowd. There was no line when I got there around 9:45 ish but by the time I left around 10 a pretty decent line formed ** Service: maybe it's the crowd and recent opening but it took quite long to get my drink -- it took a little maybe over 15 ish minutes for my one drink :( ** Pricing: even for LA prices the price was a bit steep for the size. The cup is rounded but it feels like maybe at most a 12Oz drink totaling to be 8.50 (one extra whole dollar just for whole milk). Not sure if I would come back regularly just for the price alone ** Drinks:: got the matcha creamsicle and while the citrus flavor was very fresh/does not taste artificial at all (was told that it's made fresh with tangerine peels and definitely takes like a creamsicle) if you like the taste of matcha to predominate would skip this novelty drink since the creamsicle flavor definitely overpowers the matcha. But if you're a fan of lightly sweetened and unique drinks then this is a fun one to try out. Came here to try out this place since we've been looking for a new matcha place and I got the banana matcha latte. It was so good. I also got it with oat milk so it tasted so creamy and delicious. Highly recommend it. My friend got the blueberry matcha latte which she really liked. She also got the croissant for her bf so not sure if it tasted good or not. The only downside is that the wait time is pretty long since I think this place blew up on social so we had to wait a bit to order and then for our drinks. I also wish they had better seating set up since it was not that comfortable sitting there while finishing up our drinks. read more

My new favorite coffee shop in LA! I don't feel peaceful often, but this place instantly calmed me. The interior is flawlessly designed--a true work of art. I ordered a Spam & cheese croissant and a sweet potato einspänner, and both were 10/10. I even picked up some gift items from their shop, all imported from Korea. They also have books to read, which allowed me to decompress while learning about Korean food culture. The attention to detail is unmatched, and the 15-minute drive to Santa Monica was totally worth it. This is truly a next-level experience! read more
Decided to pop by randomly today while waiting for my car to finish getting serviced, and what a lovely surprise! Walked in and immediately was loving the Kpop playing in the background. Took in the decor, the seating, and it was all super cute, welcoming, and pretty minimalistic. The cafe itself was pretty slow since it was morning time, which I liked. The menu was simple, which I preferred because I tend to take a while deciding on my order. The barista was friendly too. I decided to go with the signature brown sugar blueberry iced latte and a chocolate croissant. The drink was SOO PRETTY, and it tasted good. Just sweet enough. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the chocolate croissant as well, there was a bit of chocolate custard? cream? in the middle of it. A bit messy, but whatevers, all good! This coffeeshop seems very new to the neighborhood, and let me tell you -- I'm SO pumped that I live right down the street and can walk here. And if I don't wanna walk? I can drive over because there's a parking lot right there with plenty of spots. Will definitely be back. read more
