    Cloud latte
    Nancy B.

Had this coffee in downtown and loved it. Glad a location closer to me opened up. This place is in between business buildings so it was a bit hard to find. I always get the cloud latte with oatmilk and it isn't too sweet at all. That's what I love about it. I really wish they would mix it before they put the cloud foam on top. Anyway, staff was friendly, place was clean and plenty of open outdoor space to sit and enjoy.

Love the cream top on this matcha! Perfectly sweet and definitely makes the drink. Wish the matcha was a little stronger flavor but overall really good!

This cafe is located inside the CAA building. I'm sitting here with my coffee waiting to be discovered. There's some indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating. The Annenberg photography museum is right here so it's a really nice outdoor space. I got a cinnamon cloud iced latte. Normally it comes with oat milk but I got it with regular milk. Also I got a granola cup that seems to have been made in house. There's not even a label on it. Overall very good coffee and I would recommend this place if you're in the area. Parking may be an issue but the mall is right next door. Now where's my agent??

This place has great matcha and matcha cookies. Their sandwiches are amazing. The bad thing about this place is the price and the fact that they fill the cup with mostly ice even after it's overpriced and even if you ask for light ice it seems they do not listen and fill it even less than it already gets filled. Sometimes they ask you what milk and sweetener you want/prefer but sometimes they don't and assume so you don't know what options you have. Not a good study place but there's a nice outside area to take a break from work or hang out.

Visited here during the LA Marathon, and it was so delicious that I went back twice for the same thing! The staff was super helpful in explaining the menu. Also, I got a matcha cookie that I devoured and forgot to take a picture. The latte was the perfect balance of sweet and earthy. My only gripe was that I wish they had a true large size, like 16-20 oz. It's worth the price and a thousand times better than the biggest chain.

Tilt is a welcome change from Starbucks or Coffee Bean. It's new, and Tilt took over the Coffee Bean location in the "Twin Towers " outdoor food court in Century City. The store is clean and bright. The baristas enjoy working there and are very informative. Their signature drink is anything with a "cloud". They have a few different Cloud flavors which is basically cream whipped with a flavor. Below is a photo of their "what's a cloud" sign. A cloud can be added to a any hot or cold drink. I had it with a hot cinnamon latte. I loved the look of the drink and the contrast of cold foam with the hot. The barista tried to steer me towards their peanut butter drink. I was tempted, maybe next time. The coffee was very tasty. I asked to make it extra hot and she did. The iced cloud matcha we had was also very good. The only downsides are the drinks are all over $7! Albeit, they include oat milk for free. They was they have limited food items. Also, I suggest the food items be displayed where the ordering is done, not on the side in the front of the store which is out of sight and out of mind. I'll return, not as often as Starbucks. I may even try the peanut drink

Simply the best. Every drink I've had here is a banger! Friendly and skilled staff. Lovely and much bigger space over the DT location. It's been so good that they finally got the shop opened. Been here more than I expected but it's a testament of the quality of drinks being served here. They stepped in Century City and are proving that to be the best coffee in the area. You won't find it or see from any street but it's nicely tucked away in between CP East and Ave of the Stars. I think it's a theme cause you can't see the original bar either but it's worth finding. Highest recommendation. If you love coffee and are in the area, this is a must try. Also, please bring the loyalty program to CC too. And I'm voting for the ube drink too :)

    Matcha - ceremonial grade

First time at Tilt and it was a pleasant experience! It was very clean and the service was quick as well. I got the ceremonial grade matcha latte and did like it, but it was a bit more on the expensive side for sure.

There's also seating now, which I don't think there was before! I got the Mango Grapefruit Book this time, and it was not too sweet! There's a really strong mango and coconut flavor, though the grapefruit can be a little bitter. The service worker there was also very kind and answered a lot of my and the other guests' questions. I definitely think this location is worth checking out! For a parking tip, park at the Beverly Hills Public Parking garage down the street. It's one hour free!

So glad that this location opened up in Beverly Hills. It's located right on Rodeo Drive, so…read moretraffic in the area can get pretty packed, but I haven't had any issues finding parking in the structure directly behind the store. There is also some street parking available, though it can be a bit difficult to find an open spot. Service at this location is okay, sometimes good and friendly and other times not so much. It doesn't bother me too much since I don't interact with them very often though. I usually order online and pick up at the counter, which I find much more convenient. Recently, I believe they extended the delivery area on the map to LA, but I haven't gotten the chance to try that out yet. They often run offers and promotions on their app, so I definitely recommend ordering online. You can also add a sticker to your cup when ordering online (if you draw your own it takes about a day to get it approved)! The interior is pretty small, so more of a grab-n-go, and it has a nice modern, clean aesthetic. The drinks are consistently pretty great! My go‑to orders are the Mango Coconut Boom and the Mango Grapefruit Boom. Super refreshing and fruity and the grapefruit adds a little tart, sour kick to the mango. I also really like the Triple Supreme Matcha and I recently tried the new seasonal King Jasmine Guava, and it wasn't bad at all too (the stickers are also super cute). Overall, really happy that this location opened, and the drinks are super good and keep me coming back.

It is pricey (maybe the priciest out there) but every element of the experience is top tier and you get what you pay for. The sandwiches, scones, and pastries are actually high quality and delicious. I love the variety of the sandwiches with some twists and premium ingredients like caviar. The scones are my favorite and not dry at all, it's served with clotted cream, lemon curd, and a berry jam - absolutely delicious. There's a lot of tea choices to choose from that will cater to a variety of tastes. The ambiance is what sets this afternoon tea apart from the rest. There's a live harpist! The Living Room decor feels very posh, the plates and cups have pretty designs, and the set is served on a silver 3-tier stand. The service is also fantastic! They kept coming back to refill our tea. Afternoon Tea, in the Beverly Hills Peninsula, within its (The) Living Room is an intentional…read moredecision to stop time and let yourself be pampered, so you may be a princess who feels a degree shift in her bedroom and the result nearly cuts her skin, like a dagger on flesh. The breeze knows this and thus its best to control itself because it knows its place in relation to this girl. If you make the decision, I recommend going on a day where you can absorb the classy and elegant (that slightly borders on stiff traditionally) vibe because no one deserves to have a troubled mind when enjoying luxurious tea. It is like a big sports guy, going to the Super Bowl, when back home they have a leaky faucet that is near full rupture but he cannot do anything until Monday. How is he suppose to enjoy viewing a fumble or bouncing cheerleaders or a roaring crowd with costumed fans, if there is a drip drip of worry in his mind that he cannot wrench into closing. I guess, this space is like a zen garden, where one goes to be present, not just to checkmark a daily meal. I say all that because I was silent for long moments, and I apologized to Ronnie for not engaging in conversation. And she said, "I understand, you are taking it all in." So this place is also a gallery of fancy, where one experiences tea in the cushions of Beverly Hills rarefied air. When I was there, I saw a large group of girls attending a baby shower. To me, it was a like small movie scene. All of them were gathered in a group, like lilies in a special patch, looking all pretty in nice dresses, long flowing hair, and were all smiles and refined in movement, taste and persona. I wondered why they were talking about? Ronnie anchored me back to reality and said, they are probably just catching up, just like us. She makes a good point--- a baby shower in a fancy tea room, is no different than a baby shower held in a back yard. Every one is there to give well-wishes and gifts, eat good food, and chat. There are obvious ways in which these two experiences are different but at their core they were the same: a group of people gathering to celebrate a coming child. One place just does it with white linens ironed to precious quality, while the other is limited to folded tables set up carefully so they don't break. I share this so that the reader knows that this place is so fancy, that I felt like I did not just have tea, I more felt like I was in a place that redefined fancy for me, and that in itself, is worth more than the 150.00 dollars I paid to sip rose tea. But still I would not do it again, because to sip rose tea and be pampered like a princess cost me 150.00 dollars. To translate this into a Yelp message: Go as a once in a life time experience to understand how the 1 percent enjoys their tea, and hopefully that adds to all that shapes your perspective of the world. I want to truly stress, that this slow moving experience, in a wondrous way, redefined what fancy is because I never saw fancy be effortless lazy yet still be extravagant and gorgeous. I was a guy there. There was another guy there, enjoying tea alone. But everyone else read female. So this place is women centered because who is taught to have tea parties at a young age? I mean there is no tea party with cups that show the Hulk and Iron man. So this is. a girlie fantasy. Look at my pictures, even though there are few one can see pink ribbons, floral patterns, precious and dainty flowers, and fashion carried by hats. I went because I am comfortable stepping outside gender roles but not everyone is. So, I guess, I am saying that afternoon tea, all adorn with teas, is mostly for girls, shocking I know. The food was superb. I remember the chicken salad sandwich fondly. I remember the strawberries and cream. I remember being handed a warm towel to wipe my hands clean. I remember lounging, but again, this is more of an experience. Like I can have high tea again, but not like this because it is too precious to revisit on rewind. I rather have this be a bubble that strolls down Rodeo and Sunset than it be popped by another visit. I remember all of it as a kind of dream, which makes it more precious. There was also a harp player. But I am not going to say I was in heaven, that reach is too easy. Plus, I did not feel like I was in heaven, even though I sat in a cloud. I noticed to much, and thought to much about my surroundings. I was not at peace. I was in rest. The difference being is that peace comes with out thought, and rest can come with an analysis. Think I am wrong? Then imagine a genius doing Sodukus for fun---- he is not in peace because he is being challenged, but he is in rest because she can find quiet pleasure in finishing the mental challenge in record time. I realize that I took a long way to say the following: the place is gorgeous, the food is sensational, the graces both big and small, mix into a pleasurable experience that makes one say, that was certainly fancy to the sky!
