I was really excited to try the soft serve at Cassetta because it's lactose free, but I was a little disappointed. The soft serve is very sweet and doesn't have a very distinguishable flavor. Pairing the mango jam with it also didn't really help, since the mango jam kind of tasted like an artificial syrup. The strawberries did help though. Service was very good, but parking was also hard to find, even later in the evening/at night. Maybe come try it and get the cute aesthetic pics, but not sure if I'd be a regular here. read more

I don't understand the hype of this place. The quality of the ice cream was mediocre and very highly priced. We understand the artistic aspect of it is when drives the people to come here, but if the quality does not match the hype or the price, then I don't see the point other than people just doing it for social media. The inside felt a little cramped and I hated the seating. The one thing though is that the staff is very friendly and was very smiley. But overall, just not worth my money. read more

Food is as pretty as the place! There's a maze room nearby and some tables and cool Instagram props outside. The woman working there is so smiley even at 10pm at night and super helpful in explaining to us what the different flavors are. Would def go back here again. First and foremost, this place is very aesthetically pleasing. You walk in and automatically see such a clean and polished shop. We decided to order the Rosie Rose (I got a lotus cookie with mine). Yes, this dessert spot is a bit more expensive but it's because of the presentation and non dairy soft serve they provide. If you want a little treat you can post in your Instagram this is the perfect spot. All desserts are beautiful and carefully made. I do see myself coming back. read more

Was craving a late night sweet treat before a long drive and came across Cassetta! Upon looking at their reviews and pictures, the way they presented their items definitely brought me in. I got the Cassetta Taronie, Salty Sweet Dough Latte w/ Cornflakes, and Cloud Nine. All were super delicious. I was exceptionally amazed at how smooth and light the ice cream was! The drinks were also made quick and tasted really good! I'm pretty sure their promotion is over by now but over Christmas season, they had a promotion of getting a free ornament if you spend over $10 or buy a drink which convinced us to get even more than planned! Cassetta has a very pink and stylish atmosphere. Inside, they also sell clothing and other small products, which makes the space feel more like a boutique dessert shop. The ice cream was creamy, light, and not too heavy, and it tasted pretty good. One of my daughters really liked it, while the other one wasn't a big fan. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they were always smiling, which made the experience even better. Still a cute place to stop by if you're nearby. read more

Although there was no wait when I showed up, a line formed quickly after me. I thought there were more soft serve flavors but there's only original vanilla flavor. I ordered a cone of the soft serve and it came with dried strawberries and one flower. It was a hot day but cooler at night. The ice cream melted rapidly and was dripping onto the floor. I recommend getting the cup version if you're going to take your time with photographing the pretty cone. There's some seating inside and outside the shop. The restroom in the back was convenient for washing my sticky hand from the dripping soft serve. There's lots of street parking but dark on the neighborhood side. read more

Small shop, limited seats, seems to have one staff working the whole store. Once you enter, you order from a tablet inside the store and the one employee behind the counter prepares your order and hands it to you. Unsure if that's how they normally function, but I felt bad for the employee because she was working nonstop due to a lot of people being there when I visited so she was alone with making and handing it back to back. The drinks and soft serve may be aesthetically pleasing, but the taste was not there. The soft serve was non-dairy so I knew what to expect especially since I frequently have non-dairy products as I'm lactose intolerant...but this soft serve was not it. The texture was not smooth/creamy like a soft serve and was like crushed ice to me. The taste was off as well and I was unsure what I was eating. Sigh. I wanted to love it here, but just didn't. The soft serve is beautiful, truly, but that's where it ends. Flavor and consistency is fine, but not delicious and not at all worth a second taste without toppings. Speaking of toppings, you will pay $1 for flowers but they are not edible. They tell you they are edible but "taste bitter" presumably because they're charging you for them, but these real mini flowers that are vomit inducing level terrible. And all the other toppings are gross candies (like KitKat) or cereals (like Lucky charms) with refined sugars and colors that are banned in some places. There's nothing gourmet about this place. Finally, there's little service to speak of. The girl behind the counter made zero effort to welcome us into this tiny shop or help us as we initially struggled to navigate the kiosk ordering system. Do yourself a favor and post my pic to your IG and save your $11 for something more delicious. read more

Came by here on a Saturday night and it wasn't very busy. The ice cream was very light and sweet. I got the biscoff crumbs with caramel and it was a little too sweet for my liking. The flower on the ice cream makes it pretty but not something that you truly want to eat. Service is good and quick. Theres a small amount of seating inside and its a pretty clean spot. Couldn't find my YOU'RE IN email. My son and I was super excited to try Cassetta. After making the drive from Inglewood to Beverly Hills we were greatly disappointed in the service we received. This was the first Yelp Event that I was asked to show my email. I was experiencing issues with my phone after checking in and couldn't locate my email. There was a fellow Eliter in front of me who showed their email and was asked their name and the employee checked them off. I thought I could explain I had email issues and provide my name - like I do at all Yelp Events. Not the case here. No email. No service. My son and I went over to the ordering kiosk and placed an order for one item. I figured, might as well try something and review that item vs. leaving empty handed. What did we have - Cloud Nine - $8.21 with taxes - it's a cup of Lucky Charms (with a smile) my son said, definitely on the sweet side with some fluff. He enjoyed Cloud Nine! Pros 1. Nice area and decor. We loved the outdoor furniture right in front of Cassetta. 2. Indoor seating also available. Cozy indoors. 3. Bathroom available for customers. 4. Cassetta has many drink options available. The menu is pack and that means something for everyone usually. Cons 1. Poor customer service - AFLAC personality. Not friendly or helpful. Unfortunately, we didnt feel comfortable. The other customers looking as I am trying to get my technical issues under control didn't help the situation. 2. Located on the side of Charleville street in a residential area, parking may be a challenge. Read the signs - keep that in mind. Overall, the poor customer service and me having email issues = an unpleasant experience. I didn't have an issue purchasing items, but, after being treated how we were, one item was my limit and that was to ensure my son left with a treat. I won't be returning. There are to many options in between Inglewood and Beverly Hills that offers similar sweet treats. Cassetta, customers keep you in business; I highly recommend improving customer service. Irrespective of why customers visit an establishment, setting a standard for good customer service is key to having loyal customers who will return and recommend. read more

Cassetta's treats are both beautiful and delicious! I visited on a weekday evening, and they weren't super busy. We were able to order immediately and find a table. The store itself isn't huge, but there's plenty of seating. The restaurant interior is almost entirely white and made for a pretty background. The desserts were definitely the star of the show. I was so impressed by how pretty the soft serves were, especially the soft serve in a cone! On top of how nice the soft serves looked, they also tasted delicious! The soft serves were creamy but also refreshing. I liked how they weren't super sweet. The soft serves were on the pricey end, but this was expected given the store's location. Always excited to try a place that has non-dairy desserts so this was a no brainer! To start off with, the shop is a lot smaller than I thought (limited seating and 1 employee) and was not on a main street so I did accidentally walk past it. With that being said here's my comprehensive review of the soft serve- did not try any drinks. Pros: *cute aesthetic without a doubt *allergy/sensitivity friendly *pricepoint is on par with competitors *I personally found the taste of the softserve to be nice *clean throughout the shop Cons: *service is slow since there was only 1 employee when we went in *service wasn't friendly but it also wasn't the worst *limited seating *portions are variable. we all got the soft serves but had pretty noticeable differences in quantity *not creativity with the base flavor options- it would be cool to have more base flavor options / allow for more customization *add ons are very overpriced for what you receive (I would avoid them) read more

What I ordered: - Rosie rosa - Soft serve with bisscoffle The rosie rosa didn't have a strong rose flavor which was a letdown. The soft serve itself is apparently non-dairy and it tasted like it. It was not creamy at all, had more of a watery taste and thin texture to it. It wasn't terrible but more beneficial for lactose intolerant individuals. The soft serve with bisscoffle is comprised with the same soft serve as the tosie rosa but with biscoff cookie crumble on top. read more

Although the fancier you get with it the more expensive it gets. It is pretty to look at, but it comes at a price! They have a menu booklet with pictures! Be aware that their signature drinks don't have coffee unless specified, you have to add it for a fee. You order at the kiosk touch screen. Great service, friendly even for being the only one working on a Saturday afternoon. Street parking has meters or 1hr on specific streets (pay attention to signs). read more

The soft serve is pretty!! Seriously the prettiest cone that I've seen. However, the flowers are bitter and a little unpleasant to eat. I had to removed mine after all the photo-taking. Loved Cassetta ! I would definitely recommend this cutesy establishment if you want to have a girls day in Beverly Hills. The quality of the ice cream & the beverages was top tier. As I took at the cozy, classy splendor of a still very new establishment, the relaxed but polished decor was both inspiring and low-key. I had an excellent espresso while I got my wish: extended time to take in the menus. The drink menu, and the food menu. It's my favorite when that part of the cafe/restaurant experience delivers tons of time to get really acquainted with a place. Our friendly, helpful server asked the questions I had about the menu, and the time he didn't know he went and found out. Breakfast is served all day, by the way. My friend started with the sausage rolls (accompanied by the freshly made ketchup). Delicious and great for a table starter or a fairly light entree. Good crunch, and moist inside with plenty of seasoning. My entree was the black forest ham quiche. It was indicative of everything else here: the right size, the right mix of produce, protein, fluffy, cheesy egg inside, and anchored by a subtle but first-rate crust. It's served with a fennel based salad, a crisp and a great complement. We were happy and satisfied sooner than expected (alas, Le Moules must wait). Still, I could not resist a little dessert and ordered the Pain Aux Apricot. It was fantastic, something out of a cafe in Paris. Crisp and light and just sweet enough. Appreciated the friendly service. A steady diet of 70's soft-rock quietly served as the soundtrack at this one lunch. There is easily accessible parking on the street or mostly-free city lot.

Had it with a cappuccino which was perfect. They also had cherry, apple, and banoffe cream, and I believe a few other seasonal options. But have to say I didn't regret my choice. They also have savory pies including chicken and leek, and beer pies. Was a bit full from lunch but would love to try these at some point. Additionally, they also had some lunch and dinner entrees. Overall super cute and cozy place to sit and enjoy some tea/coffee with a pie. Love the vibe. And the service was also exceptional. Definitely coming back soon.

I suspect that the "buttercream" was made with milk and margarine and powdered sugar.....so much powdered sugar. It was sickeningly sweet, and it was dry too. And a true bettercream doesn't even use powdered sugar. So not only were the cupcakes terrible, they were not even what they purported to be. This is like calling a cut of meat a filet mignon and serving a hamburger. Von's, Ralphs and Albertson's make better cupcakes than this for a fraction of othe price.
