You see those beautiful pastries on Instagram and you just need to find one. So we ordered delivery from Pompadour. We had the Lavende Gardenr, which was absolutely beautiful but not particularly delicious. It really did not have much taste at all. The Pitchou was better, particularly if you're a chocolate lover. The cherry on the ganache is a nice touch. These definitely weren't BAD, but at $16 a pop, they really need to be more than just pretty.

4.5 stars I've had pompadour a total of three times and all three times they were desserts that I had ordered via delivery service so I can't speak to what the location or the storefront or the customer service is like, but I can speak to the decadence and the beauty of the desserts that I've tried Better yet just look at the images from my last order

Beverly Hills really is one of the most opulent spots in LA, perfect for shopping, people watching, and maybe even seeing a celeb. While wandering around, I decided to stop into Pompadour since I had heard good things. The pastries in the case looked like pure perfection, everything from custom cakes to colorful macarons. I ordered an iced latte since it was hot out, but I wasn't too impressed. It tasted more milky than coffee and strangely there wasn't even any ice in it. Definitely not what I expected, so I took off one star for that. Still, I really think the desserts are the real stars here and I'll definitely be back to try something sweet, especially a chocolate mousse or the knafeh. Parking is super easy. Beverly Hills Public Parking lots are free for one to two hours before 6pm, which is always helpful. Overall, Pompadour feels like a great spot to treat yourself in between shopping sprees, even if the coffee wasn't my favorite.

Omg! I can't praise this place enough in my broken English! Staff 15 stars out of 5! Randomly saw cake online googled place.. was so close to home went to see in person.. let me tell you it's a gem! Don't hesitate if you have doubts! This review is for Dubai cake I got for my party tho.. that thing impressed everyone!! For all the chocolate just right amount of sweetness the perfection.. will work for shallow people too because the looks of that cake.. damn.. seriously looks matched personality in this case! I'm a fan! Will be trying other stuff they have my new favorite cake place! Thank you pompadour!

I usually stick to Korean-style cakes, but this was my first time ordering from here, and I was truly impressed. The cake was beautifully designed, not overly sweet, and felt very refined--perfect as a gift. I purchased it for a close friend's birthday, and it ended up being shared among several people. Every single person had nothing but praise for it and said it was a huge hit. The compliments didn't stop, and everyone agreed it tasted amazing. I would absolutely order again.

Ordered this as a delivery from AZ, for my brother in LA. Given this is a 20 minutes drive from their house, delivery makes it so much easy as a surprise. We sent 4 desserts - Lavendar garden, creme brulee, pitchou, chocolate dome. Given we hadnt tried these, and were going by the looks of pretty they looked, we decided to give this a go! And oh boy were we surprised by the reviews!! They reached the house intact, perfect packaging, and the taste was amazing. The most loved was the Lavender Garden and Creme Brulee! On our next visit to LA, we are def going here!!

The staff is very friendly ! I haven't bought my daughter a birthday cake & thank goodness Pompadour is open ! Now my daughter's birthday is complete & successful . Not all heroes wear capes but they do wear smiles ! Thank you so much for your service and generosity. Truly a great experience. We are all so excited for the heart shaped chocolate cake & the lychee rose cake

Been on my list forever and finally made it here! Each dessert is a work of art! It was hard to choose. Tarts, eclairs, cakes and ice cream...oh my!! Each prettier than the next! Service was excellent, patient, and helpful as I pondered my purchase. I went with the lavender garden because it was so pretty and unique. What a fantastic choice! Beautiful inside and out and a bold and delicious lavender taste! What a beautiful surprise to see the purple cake and cream filling on the inside. Most beautiful pastry award for sure! Some seating outside but I got mine to go and he put it in the most lovely box! Would make a great gift! The cake was a mini size but big enough to share if you so choose. Next on my list is choc orange. Always a great combo and a good looking treat! Lavender won out as my choice this time because of the uniqueness of flavor and the beautiful color but it was a tough decision! Metered parking on street. Walking distance from many shops and restaurants.

Cute little pastry shop. Possibly one of the best pastry shop in Beverly hills. I love the bottom of the orange chocolate. Us crunchy and flavorful while the middle of it really taste like blood orange. It goes great with a cup of cappuccino. The mango passion isn't as rich and flavorful as the orange chocolate but it's mango flavor does stand out. I feel like if you like strong flavor for your dessert, get the orange chocolate. But if you want something light, mango passion is probably more for you. But I think there is something for everyone here if you're a sweet lover.

We just had some really lovely and tasty desserts. Everything was delicious, but our favorite was the rose-shaped one. It has really unique flavors that you don't come across that often.

My son and I shared a delicious single-serving chocolate cake filled with pistachio and cherry cream. We both loved it. I would have given five stars but the item cost $12.75 , which felt too high even for an upscale establishment. I could be wrong. There are very pleasant outdoor tables, and the location is ideal!

Though I've been here just once (for lunch), I am already plotting my return. I arrived a bit earlier than my friends and in so doing, accidentally avoided the start of the lunch rush. As there are not many tables here, I feel I lucked out snagging a table for us. As I took at the cozy, classy splendor of a still very new establishment, the relaxed but polished decor was both inspiring and low-key. I had an excellent espresso while I got my wish: extended time to take in the menus. The drink menu, and the food menu. It's my favorite when that part of the cafe/restaurant experience delivers tons of time to get really acquainted with a place. Our friendly, helpful server asked the questions I had about the menu, and the time he didn't know he went and found out. Breakfast is served all day, by the way. My friend started with the sausage rolls (accompanied by the freshly made ketchup). Delicious and great for a table starter or a fairly light entree. Good crunch, and moist inside with plenty of seasoning. My entree was the black forest ham quiche. It was indicative of everything else here: the right size, the right mix of produce, protein, fluffy, cheesy egg inside, and anchored by a subtle but first-rate crust. It's served with a fennel based salad, a crisp and a great complement. We were happy and satisfied sooner than expected (alas, Le Moules must wait). Still, I could not resist a little dessert and ordered the Pain Aux Apricot. It was fantastic, something out of a cafe in Paris. Crisp and light and just sweet enough. Appreciated the friendly service. A steady diet of 70's soft-rock quietly served as the soundtrack at this one lunch. There is easily accessible parking on the street or mostly-free city lot.

I expected a high-quality cupcake. The cupcakes looked cute, but they were as dry as the Sahara. They should have been labeled as white cupcakes as I didn't detect any vanilla in them. I suspect that the "buttercream" was made with milk and margarine and powdered sugar.....so much powdered sugar. It was sickeningly sweet, and it was dry too. And a true bettercream doesn't even use powdered sugar. So not only were the cupcakes terrible, they were not even what they purported to be. This is like calling a cut of meat a filet mignon and serving a hamburger. Von's, Ralphs and Albertson's make better cupcakes than this for a fraction of othe price.

Service was a little slow at first and there was only one family ahead of me. Perhaps they were busy making their orders. They only had one person working at the counter. However, once the representative approached me, he took his time helping me choose my order and he was very nice. I found this place while searching for cupcakes on Yelp. There are not many cupcake options in the area anymore. However, I learned they only have cupcakes available for preordering. There were none in store which was disappointing. Additionally, I did not see a lot of the pastries that are shown on Yelp. Seems like they changed their dessert menu within the last year. They do have little pastries, cakes, drinks, and a savory menu with crepes. The pastries are gorgeous and I was excited to try them. However, according to the representative most are made with beef gelatin and are therefore, not vegetarian so, being a vegetarian, my options were limited. I appreciate that he let me know. They did have a vegetarian option for me though. I ordered the raspberry cake. It was delightful. Not as showy as the mousse gelatin desserts but still a pretty dessert and very tasty and melt in my mouth soft. Overall, a cute yet very touristy place to visit. Since options for me were limited I probably would not return as it is out of the way but I do think it was worth a try and a one time treat and what I got was delicious. Parking on the street. Valet parking available next door. Public parking lots nearby.
