Looks 10/10, Taste 6/10 I tried a dozen of these. They look incredibly pretty and have a nice, balanced sweetness without being overwhelming, but they are mostly cream with very little cake. While the macarons and chocolate flavors were good, the rest were a major letdown for the price. A few had a stale, freezer-burn taste, and one literally reminded me of laundry detergent. Sadly, they look much better than they taste. read more

You see those beautiful pastries on Instagram and you just need to find one. So we ordered delivery from Pompadour. We had the Lavende Gardenr, which was absolutely beautiful but not particularly delicious. It really did not have much taste at all. The Pitchou was better, particularly if you're a chocolate lover. The cherry on the ganache is a nice touch. These definitely weren't BAD, but at $16 a pop, they really need to be more than just pretty. read more

Beverly Hills really is one of the most opulent spots in LA, perfect for shopping, people watching, and maybe even seeing a celeb. While wandering around, I decided to stop into Pompadour since I had heard good things. The pastries in the case looked like pure perfection, everything from custom cakes to colorful macarons. I ordered an iced latte since it was hot out, but I wasn't too impressed. It tasted more milky than coffee and strangely there wasn't even any ice in it. Definitely not what I expected, so I took off one star for that. Still, I really think the desserts are the real stars here and I'll definitely be back to try something sweet, especially a chocolate mousse or the knafeh. Parking is super easy. Beverly Hills Public Parking lots are free for one to two hours before 6pm, which is always helpful. Overall, Pompadour feels like a great spot to treat yourself in between shopping sprees, even if the coffee wasn't my favorite. read more

Ordered this as a delivery from AZ, for my brother in LA. Given this is a 20 minutes drive from their house, delivery makes it so much easy as a surprise. We sent 4 desserts - Lavendar garden, creme brulee, pitchou, chocolate dome. Given we hadnt tried these, and were going by the looks of pretty they looked, we decided to give this a go! I had such a great experience here today. The staff was incredibly kind and patient with me while I asked a million questions about the desserts. Update: this place adds fake reviews to cancel out the negative honest ones. Take a look at the profiles and many of them are fake ghost accounts created to write a review specifically for this location. What a coincidence. THEY ARE FRAUD! And they don't give you honest pricing that's why they don't display their prices. At check out you pay way more besides the tax. Original review: My son and I walked in super excited to try the pastries and the white middle age man working there was super stand off ish.! ignored it because I didn't want that to stop us from trying a pastry because my son wanted one really bad. But this man had bad energy towards us, I don't know why. I could assume a couple reasons (discrimination, racist, etc.) but it's his problem not ours. By the way we paid $50 for 3 pastries, the least he could do is be polite. It's not like we got the pastries for free. People like this do not deserve business, he thinks he's too good to be nice & show good customer service. This place was not welcoming at all. The pastries were pretty but nothing special. Cute little pastry shop. Possibly one of the best pastry shop in Beverly hills. I love the bottom of the orange chocolate. Us crunchy and flavorful while the middle of it really taste like blood orange. It goes great with a cup of cappuccino. The mango passion isn't as rich and flavorful as the orange chocolate but it's mango flavor does stand out. I feel like if you like strong flavor for your dessert, get the orange chocolate. But if you want something light, mango passion is probably more for you. But I think there is something for everyone here if you're a sweet lover. read more

This is a little gem in Beverly Hills. Tucked away on Charleville just off South Beverly Drive, it serves classy little delicious desserts and artistinal cakes. With its European feel, skip dessert at the restaurant you're eating and visit Pompadour instead. What a treat to find a pastry shop just south of Rodeo that's got cute ambiance and a gleaming jewel case of photo friendly pastries that are tasty too. I got the pistachio delight and loved that it wasn't overly sweet with creamy, satisfying pistachio flavor. There's a couple of seats inside but more little tables outside the shop. They also have a selection of macaroons and some ice creams in flute glasses. The shop opens early and closes late, easy and worthwhile stop after dinner in the area. I wish there were signs describing each of the pastries so I don't have to bother the earnest person behind the counter about every pastry. The red velvet cookie was a major letdown: stale, dry, and lacking in flavor. It tasted like it had been sitting out for days. A darling lady greeted me and asked if I had been here before. I told her it was my first time. She enthusiastically said. "Let me tell you our story." Turns out she was the owner, Suzy Hovanesyan. In addition to coffee, lattes, & date shakes made with dates sourced from around the world, Café Sheera offers Mediterranean sweets, traditional pastries, & sandwiches - all made with fresh ingredients and free from any chemicals, additives, or preservatives. She mentioned that their coffee is imported from Italy and that the Signature Herbal Lattes are a best seller as well as the Baklava Latte, which is flavored with honey & pistachios. I was sold on the Baklava Latte and requested it with almond milk. The girl that took my order was friendly as was the other gal behind the counter. I was impressed that Suzy prepared my latte for me. I took a sip and was pleasantly surprised that it tasted like Baklava. The bold, rich flavor of the roast was balanced out with notes of honey & pistachio. It also came with a bite sized piece of baklava that was the perfect tasty little snack.
