It's a cute little shop in Century City Mall and I almost would've walked right past it but I'm so glad I didn't as it's now one of my favorite sweet treats. The original & creme brulee was definitely my favorite, as it's like a Dan Ta egg tart but creamier and sweeter. The crust was also super crisp and the perfect amount so it didn't overpower the filling but instead complimented it. The matcha creme brulee sounded fancy but tbh was just alright, it didn't taste too much like matcha so I think I preferred the original. the chocolate was also good but just tasted like mousse (agains till delicious though). Honestly, I must say this is one of the best spots I've been to in LA and added to my list! The soft serve is great, it melts fast so you might want it in a cup in the afternoons. Everything is light and not too sweet or heavy and you can easily eat two in one sitting and it isn't overwhelming. The crust is crisp, not super crumbly (reminds me of shortbread) and the consistency is soft and flavorful. It's located in the mall at the top of the stairs and easy to find. It's more of a to-go type of bar rather than a sit-down place and the vibes are so zen. LOVE the pressed sand, creme brûlée and strawberry tarts especially! I came upon this place while heading to buy a gift somewhere else and it looked so good from the outside I had to go inside. The tarts were so pretty and displayed so beautifully. SERVICE I was given such a warm welcome by Anahys who offered suggestions for what I might want to try since I'd never been there. They had some seasonal items which also looked pretty good. I got the Lemon, strawberry brûlée, and raspberry. OMG THEY WERE ALL SOOOOO DELICIOUS The owner Mari was there and was so kind and chatted me up for a bit. AMBIANCE There was seating just outside on the side so you could get your desserts and easily enjoy them right there at little tables. This is such a gem in the midst of the shopping mall. I did not take a photo of my order because I did not expect it to be good, but I was so wrong. I got their Hokkaido Milk Soft Serve and it was so incredibly creamy, rich, and flavorful. It is one of the most similar Hokkaido ice creams to the ones I have tried in Japan. Maybe they aren't lying about the ice cream being directly imported from Japan! These cheese tarts are expensive but they're sooooo good. Today I tried the original flavor, honey lemon, and strawberry. All three were good, but my favorite was the honey lemon; I liked that the tartness of the lemon added to the flavor profile. The strawberry one had a pretty light strawberry flavor. I recommend to eat them the day of, because fridging them changes the texture, making them firmer. Both textures are good in different ways, which is why I usually grab a few. I also tried the seasonal apple pie tart. 5 starts for the Hokkaido cheese tarts, meh for the rest. The original tarts are just perfect. Fluffy, creamy. cheesy, sweet but not so much it negates the tang, and the crust is double baked for a contrasting crunch. At most you can get the Creme Brulee for some burnt sugar but you don't really need it. The ones with toppings weren't great - nothing went well with the cheese filling so I wouldn't recommend any. That said, you should absolutely go for a few regular. They're amazing and it's impossible to eat just one! read more

Heard that this place was known for their cheese tarts so I really wanted to try it out. The store is located inside the Century City Westfield mall so it's convenient to go to if you are already shopping around there. There was a small line when I got there, but went by pretty quick. From the outside, you can see the different flavor tarts that they offer and some other pastries that they sold in boxes. This place only offers items to go, but there's seating on the outside if you want to enjoy your pastries when you get them. I got their matcha cheese tart to go. It was below expectations (2/5) especially for the price. It was around $6 for a small cheese tart and I was expecting a firmer cheesecake consistency but it was really liquidy. It was also pretty sweet, but the crust helped balance it out. I still don't think it's worth it for the price. Not sure if I would come back here again, but am happy I got to try it once. read more

My girlfriend loves this place for cheese tarts and brought me here. We got the sweet potato apple pie, original cheese tart, and strawberry cheese tart. The sweet potato apple pie was my favorite. The sweetness from the sweet potato enhanced the apple flavor. I could also taste and feel the texture of both the apple and sweet potato on every bite, which was incredible. The pastry was also a nice crispy exterior and fluffy inside. The cheese tarts were kind of bland for me though. The texture was great with the creamy center and crunchy tart shell. I just couldn't taste either cheese tart for flavor at all. I did just recover from covid when I came so maybe that could affect it. Overall, I liked the item that wasn't their main focus. I still plan on coming back to see if it was just me or the tarts. I will update the review after my second time. read more
