Cute little dessert shop next to UCLA! Service is very quick. We got the black sesame, tiramisu, and mango pomelo flavors. I appreciate how the desserts are very lightly sweet and not too heavy, with the mango pomelo one definitely being the highlight! Tiramisu lacks a little flavor imo and black sesame is not sweet enough (even as someone who prefers lightly sweetly desserts)

Excited this place is open! Got the tiramisu soufflé- it was tasty! The tiramisu flavor was on the light side, so it tasted like the original to me. And wasn't too sweet. Need to try other flavors! They make the soufflé pancakes in store which was fun to watch. Overall with the price ($6) and taste, I would recommend! Good dessert to bring as a gift/ party. Only street parking in Westwood.

wow, what a happy little store to stumble into!!!my friend and i were walking around westwood and saw that a new soufflé shop had just opened, so we decided to try it first of all, the workers were soooo nice. they told us it was only their second day open, and everyone was really welcoming and excited to be there. the shop was also really clean and cute inside :3 the soufflés were really yummy too. they're not overly sweet, but more of a delicate sweetness-- good for asian palate. the little soufflé sandwiches were super soft and springy, and i honestly loved the texture they're also only around $5-6 each, which i think is pretty reasonable my favorite flavor was definitely the black sesame. i also got cheesecake and fresh strawberry, which were both lighter and more mild. my friend got the madagascar vanilla, oreo sea salt, and tiramisu. the oreo sea salt was probably our favorite out of hers because it reminded us of the creamy foam on top of boba drinks

We stopped by for a small box of cold soufflé and enjoyed all three flavors: pistachio, chocolate, black sesame. They are not sweet at all which I thoroughly enjoyed.

20% off during their soft opening period

The Griddle Cafe - The best French toast I've ever had

Tons of shrimp, crispy bacon, lettuce and tomato on perfectly grilled bread. Such a simple combination, but everything worked together so well. And the mountain of fries on the side definitely makes this a meal you could easily share. Of course, you can't go to The Griddle without getting French toast. Thick slices, perfectly golden on the outside and soft in the middle, topped with powdered sugar and butter. Add some syrup and it's basically breakfast heaven. This is definitely not the place for a light breakfast , but that's exactly why I love it. Huge portions, great comfort food, and one of those classic LA breakfast spots that actually lives up to the hype. The shrimp BLT and French toast are both a YES for me. 5 stars!

My younger daughter has a service dog which they wouldn't allow into the restaurant , the manager was rude and dismissive demanding the dog's service papers, and her disability, which is against the law. I was absolutely DISGUSTED so we had no choice but to leave! We left! So it seems that the only way to eat at the Griddle is if you don't have a disability! I urge people with disabilities and their loved ones to find a New place to enjoy your breakfast!

The owner and upper management work seamlessly together to deliver the absolute best guest experience every single time you walk in. And the food? Unbelievable. You can always expect incredibly fresh, consistent food that goes way beyond your expectations. Let's talk favorites. Their Mac and Cheese is the ultimate comfort food--rich, creamy, and perfection. Every single sandwich they make is a hit, but whatever you do, don't talk about salad until you've tried their Chinese Chicken Salad. Generous portions, incredible flavor, and truly representative of LA food culture at its finest. I also tried their smash burger recently--wow. Seriously, try it for lunch tomorrow, you won't regret it! Before you head out, don't forget to grab their house-made potato chips and a ficelle sandwich for later. And whatever you do, don't skip the meat and cheese section! I guarantee you it's one of the best selections in all of LA. The vibe is quick service, so it's super relaxed and hassle-free. Plus, sitting at the communal tables and chatting with the people next to you is part of the fun. Who knows? You might even run into a celebrity grabbing their favorite Chinese Chicken Salad right beside you. Cheers!

Since this place is right next to Yum Long Chinese restaurant, it was the perfect little dessert stop after lunch. Hubby and I shared the crème brûlée pancake and an espresso smoothie, and both were delicious! The pancake was incredibly fluffy and airy, with that light, sponge-like texture you want from a good Japanese soufflé pancake. I also really liked that the sauces weren't overwhelmingly sweet, so the dessert didn't feel heavy or sugary. The espresso smoothie was another pleasant surprise--creamy, flavorful, and with a nice coffee kick that paired perfectly with the pancake. Overall, a really satisfying way to finish the night. If you're already in the area for dinner at Yum Long, definitely save some room for dessert!!!!

There were only couple of customers at that time, it wasn't busy at all. We started with two appetizer items first. Takoyaki had decent filling but they were so over fried. Seafood gyoza was decent though. Then we had their most popular dish, the mango premium soufflé pancakes. It took them almost half an hour to prepare the dish, which they notified us when we were ordering. The dish came with a towering soft pancake, half of an actual mango, some whipped cream, mango cream and a scoop of mango ice cream, all for a price of $18. I loved this dish so much, it's a dream dish for any mango lover. Staff members were friendly at the store. Despite not being busy, I saw multiple of them in the store, some working in the kitchen and others taking care of customers in dining area. Overall a really good place to try out some world class soufflé pancakes, with delicious sides.
