Heytea comes to Beverly Hills from China! They've been open for awhile now but just had a grand REopening. I've been to Heytea a couple of times now and have been happy with the drinks, staff and location. In the heart of Beverly Hills, just a couple streets over from Rodeo, it's a great place to hit up after some shopping. I had a Triple Matcha from Heytea which was so darn creamy with mochi chunks in the mix, only enhancing the buttery texture of the drink. The only downside of this location is parking (I usually just use the garages near Santa Monica Blvd) and it's a small location with minimal seating. But for grab and go teas, I love Heytea.
This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots for matcha. I got the triple supreme matcha latte and it was everything I expected. It was the perfect amount of sweetness that I liked. The matcha was able to shine beautifully in this drink. The interior of the cafe is also aesthetically pleasing. Very cute and photogenic. I'll definitely be back to try their other drinks.
I've been to Heytea a few times, and I'm glad the line has gotten shorter! Also, the renovations at the Beverly Hills location definitely make the feel more spacious. There's also seating now, which I don't think there was before! I got the Mango Grapefruit Book this time, and it was not too sweet! There's a really strong mango and coconut flavor, though the grapefruit can be a little bitter. The service worker there was also very kind and answered a lot of my and the other guests' questions. I definitely think this location is worth checking out! For a parking tip, park at the Beverly Hills Public Parking garage down the street. It's one hour free!
Came out for their grand opening a couple months back and they had a great turnout! We did wait in line for about 45mins and then another 30mins to get served, but service was moving as quickly and efficiently as they could. I ordered their brown sugar w/boba - a delight! And their coconut cloud match, which was smooth creamy with great balance of flavors.
I had the king Jasmine guava tea topped with cheesy whipped cream and a sprinkling of lime zest -- the yummiest tea ever! Cute little shop with a few minimalist tea decorations. It was a busy day so I took about 15 minutes to get our tea, but it was worth the wait. Such a treat!
Love, love this place. Service is extremely friendly and accommodating, ambiance is a bit crowded but nice, and drinks are good as always! I got the Crispy Grape Bloom this time since it's so hot out. The only 'downside' is that we waited almost 40min for two drinks, but it's pretty worth it.

It's located right on Rodeo Drive, so traffic in the area can get pretty packed, but I haven't had any issues finding parking in the structure directly behind the store. There is also some street parking available, though it can be a bit difficult to find an open spot. Service at this location is okay, sometimes good and friendly and other times not so much. It doesn't bother me too much since I don't interact with them very often though. I usually order online and pick up at the counter, which I find much more convenient. Recently, I believe they extended the delivery area on the map to LA, but I haven't gotten the chance to try that out yet. They often run offers and promotions on their app, so I definitely recommend ordering online. You can also add a sticker to your cup when ordering online (if you draw your own it takes about a day to get it approved)! The interior is pretty small, so more of a grab-n-go, and it has a nice modern, clean aesthetic. The drinks are consistently pretty great! My go‑to orders are the Mango Coconut Boom and the Mango Grapefruit Boom. Super refreshing and fruity and the grapefruit adds a little tart, sour kick to the mango. I also really like the Triple Supreme Matcha and I recently tried the new seasonal King Jasmine Guava, and it wasn't bad at all too (the stickers are also super cute). Overall, really happy that this location opened, and the drinks are super good and keep me coming back.
So happy to have a Heytea in Beverly Hills. Like any Heytea, seating inside is limited, the lines can get long, but the drinks are tasty and, especially if you can beat the crowd, well worth the wait. They have an extensive menu as is typical for Heytea, but given how standard the menu is across locations, don't stress out if you can't try every drink at this one.
Was customer #41 on their grand opening day for the BOGO and free magnet! Although there were a lot of people, the workers were very efficient and maintained a positive attitude. I was afraid the quality of my drinks would be compromised due to the large volume of orders but I thoroughly enjoyed my drinks! Highly recommend the matcha cloud longjing milk tea, super fragrant and delicious. Small shop with 4 stools and a counter to sit on. This place is more of a grab-and-go, not somewhere where you sit down and study.
I've always loved Heytea! Their drinks have always been solid for me - however, I think with their recent reopening they still have a few kinks to work out. I arrived a little before opening (11am) on a Thursday (for their free tote bag giveaway for their reopening) but they didn't open their doors and start taking orders until 11:15 or so. It seemed like they also had ran out of a certain type of mochi topping, and the staff member was asking customers for alternative choices. I thought it was odd they had run out of a topping shortly after opening in the morning. On top of all this, the drink took at least 10-15 minutes to be ready despite being one of the first few customers and the poor staff member at the front seemed really stretched thin and a bit frazzled. I know they're still working things out and hope things will smooth out soon. I'd recommend downloading the Heytea app and making an account with them - the app offers several coupons to use and you can also use it to order ahead! The shop itself is small and it's more of a grab and go spot. This time around I tried the Kale boost tea (kale + chia seeds + green tea) - it's light and refreshing! I'm also a big fan of their triple supreme matcha and their grape boom drinks. Parking: street parking, or public parking lots. Some options include Brighton Public parking (first 2 hours free prior to 6pm), I also park at the parking lot next to Erewhon (also first 2 hours free prior to 6pm).

I literally got full from sipping on the drink xD Since there was a BOGO deal I also ordered the king Jasmine milk tea. The Jasmine here tasted simalar to Molly Tea Jasmine milk tea -- super floral. I actually loved it so much I would for sure order that next time if I want something light from Heytea. Parking here can be a bit challenging as it's literally in the heart of Beverly Hills. I would come back if I'm ever back in this area :)

Plus other promos throughout the week, check my photos for them. I tried their Triple Supreme Matcha Latte and Grapefruit Boom (Original). I'm normally not into very complex tea drinks as a purist but I enjoyed their triple supreme matcha latte with Matcha Cloud+Matcha+Matcha Mochi+Matcha Jelly+Real Milk, but asked for No Added Sugar. You can also adjust the ice. I also tried their Grapefruit Boom which was delicious without added sugar! Very refreshing with grapefruit pulp. Simple decoration and ambiance inside. No room for seating but only for take out. Service was friendly and quick on their first day but I was the 6th in line and waited for about 7 min. to get my drinks.
Came here during their first week of opening last year, there was quite a line (as expected!), but it moved quickly. The shop is in a prime spot right on Rodeo Drive. I tried the California Sunset ($7.99) 30% sugar , super refreshing and perfect for the hot LA weather! Loved that they added real slices of fresh fruit, it made the drink taste extra light and natural. Grape Boom ($7.49) was also really good, I did 50% sugar, but it was still a bit on the sweet side, so I'll go lower next time. Still, the juicy grape pieces inside were delicious & drink overall was good. I've had Heytea while traveling in Asia, so I was really excited to see it finally open here in the U.S! It's a bit pricier, but honestly fair for the location and quality. Looking forward to coming back to try their seasonal drinks, love that they keep things creative and fresh.
A group of us decided to try out Heytea which is down the street from our job. So we made the trek and once we got there, I didn't realize how small the shop was. It's a nice little spot on Santa Monica with a calming vibe in the inside.therearea fewbar stools to the right to sit and enjoy your drinks and a few other chairs and sections in the front by the door. Once it was our turn to order, we were told that the boba was t ready and wouldn't be until about an hour later. We we t around 11am, so you may want to call to make sure they have boba if you are coming from a distance. Anyway, since we work down the street, we decided to go back when the boba was ready and get a few drinks. Our order consisted of the loud matcha latte, a match cheese milk tea, and a supreme brown sugar boba, which was my order. Overall, it wasn't the best milk tea boba I had but the boba's were very warm and soft. It was a hot day and I noticed my drink was a little warm too. I was going to add more ice to my drink because there wasn't very much ice in it. It was also creamy with some froth or something. It wasn't bad but it was a little different than what I am used to and I go to a lot of boba spots. I will probably go back to try their fruit teas but the milk teas were a little unusual to me. I love this place and I will always go back, full stop! It is genuinely always packed -- there have been times where there are what feels like 100 people ahead of me in the queue -- but somehow they still make the drinks so quickly. And it's not just fast, it's consistent. Every single drink comes out exactly the way it should, which is honestly impressive for a place with that kind of volume. My go-to is the mango sago, but I also love the guava milk tea. It's legit so delicious and I have a hard time choosing between the two every time I come in. If you see a line, don't let it scare you off -- it moves way faster than you'd think! read more
You can usually never go wrong with HeyTea. The price is typically a bit higher, but the brand prides itself on high quality tea and fresh fruits. The line can be insane, but we somehow lucked out and there was no wait on a Saturday ~6 PM. This was my first time at this location, and while it was fun being in the middle of Beverly Hills, the drinks and service weren't what I expected. The staff was fairly impatient (despite us being the only customers in the store) and seemed annoyed to provide recommendations to my family who had never tried HeyTea before. We got 5 drinks: triple matcha, brown sugar bobo, king jasmine guava, coconut mango boom, cloud jasmine. All but the king jasmine guava were either bland or extremely salty. The king jasmine guava was easily the best drink we got, but it had mostly a guava taste and very little jasmine. I've never had this experience before at the other locations, so I want to assume they were just having a really off day... All that said, it's Beverly Hills. Even the most popular places can be hit or miss depending on the day. While I was disappointed in this visit, I wouldn't mind giving it another try if I had a craving and was in the area. There's a few stools to sit on, but this is mostly a grab and go spot. Note on parking: there's some street parking in front of the store, but it can be tough to find an empty spot. There's a couple paid garages/lots on the block, and we were able to get free parking since we were there after 6 PM. read more

Heytea's greats for a cooling treat on a hot day. I've been often and always get the Coconut Mango Boom which is refreshing. I lower the sweetness percentage which is perfect! I went during lunch on a Tuesday and it was virtually empty so service was quick! Not any real seating in the place as it gets quite packed. This is more of a grab and go situation. read more

I wanna start off by saying it must have been an off day. I could see/hear an industrial blower in the kitchen & there was a not pleasant smell in the shop. I had a feeling that something was not working properly in the store. The cashier told multiple people they were out of different things. It took 25 MINS for me to get my one drink & this was at 6pm. I see online that Heytea can get busy with lines outside the door to order but this was not the case. There was maybe 5 people ahead of me. This is my first time here so I'm not sure if this is typical but I was frustrated with the WAIT. I felt bad for the workers because they definitely looked a little stressed but there also seemed to be some miscommunication among the staff I got the COCONUT MANGO BOMB & it was very refreshing. The fruit tasted fresh & it was great summer dessert drink. I will definitely come back because I wanna try the TRIPLE MATCHA drink. This location is convenient because of the proximately to Rodeo Drive & all the shopping. I happen to be in the area so I stopped in but perhaps next time I'll try a different location read more
They finally reopened their Beverly Hills location after some months of renovation. The interior is a minimalists dream! Because of the grand opening on their first three days they were doing bogo on all drink! I had their green grape boom, and because it was a warm LA day, it hit the spot! It was super refreshing and it was vibe before I knew it. The staff was very nice, despite the heavy crowds they got by! Hey tea has a myriad of options and the next time I go, I'll be ordering their cloud crisp grape. read more
After trying Hey Tea in NYC, I've been on the lookout anytime I go to a new location! Luckily there was one in Beverly Hills that we could go to on our trip to LA. The wait time was pretty long (25-30mins) and there isn't any seating so you can wait while shopping around the area or standing outside. It would be helpful if they had an option where they texted you when your order was out, since you just had to watch the screen to see when your number would be called. I tried the triple matcha drink with matcha mochi in it. I loved the flavor of the matcha, which wasn't too sweet and the mochi was less chewy than I thought, and more like a jello texture. I don't know if I'd get the mochi jelly next time but I did like the tea and foam on top. The grapefruit tea was also really good, with some pulp in it. The flavor profile seemed on the sweeter side for most of the teas but you can always adjust the sweetness as well. read more

Omg, so good! I'm usually not a fan of cheese foam, but hey tea's cheese foam is mouthwatering and noteworthy. I work around the area so l've already tried their California sunset, mango grapefruit boom, cheese grape boom, and grape boom original *my favorite so far* and I'm excited to try the rest of the menu! They use real fruit and the drinks are not too sweet. There are many public parking lots in the area with free 1-2 hour parking, and the server working in the front is usually bilingual in English and mandarin. read more

Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 I've always known this spot for having really good tea, and wow the aroma when you walk in does not disappoint. I seriously want a perfume that smells just like this!! The prices are a bit on the higher side, but I totally get the hype. I fell in love with both my matcha and mango drinks their creama is amazing too. Wish I had one closer to where I live! read more

Yesterday and the day before, every time I went there I had to wait so long that I got really frustrated. So today, before going to work, I placed an online order early and went to pick it up. Fortunately, the app said my order was ready after only 4 minutes, so even though it was raining, I drove there as quickly as I could. However, when I arrived, the cashier didn't even know about my order, and it wasn't prepared at all. I had parked my car temporarily on the street, so I was in a hurry and late for work.. When I asked what was wrong, no one gave me a proper answer. There were at least three people in the kitchen, and it was a very slow time, so I really couldn't understand how my order was missed. When I kept asking what the problem was, someone responded in a few words that sounded like a mix of Chinese or English, and they spoke so quietly that I couldn't understand anything. Even though the app said my order was completed, I had to wait without any reasonable explanation or something like that before I finally received it. I was just about to start work, so I was in a rush, and I had come to pick it up during a slow time on purpose, which made the situation even more frustrating. Even though the place has reopened, it still doesn't seem to be properly organized. The staff training, in particular, was extremely poor. During the slowest time of the day, there were at least three people in the kitchen and one cashier. I really don't understand how so many employees could still miss an order. I've been going there almost every day since it reopened, but online ordering is often blocked as well....so frustrating... I've really tried to understand but today I honestly couldn't. And one more thing,this store used to be an open kitchen to be so clear for everything but now they remodeled to hide what happens inside the kitchen...so suspicious... Lastly one more thing, I'm not sure, but some of the employees looked like international students to me. read more

So glad this place opened up in Beverly Hills, which was severely lacking in a boba place! This place is on Rodeo Drive, a popular shopping district that can be kinda busy & difficult to drive around. The drinks I've tried so far are amazing. My favorite is the Coconut Mango Boom -- I usually get a large size with the "minimal" sugar option which is just perfect for me (the "no" sugar option is tad bit too bland) although I think most people opt for a higher sugar level (so start with "less sugar (default)" or "light sugar" if it's your first time). Anyway, the coconut mango boom is their most popular option and is probably what you should order if it's your first time visiting. There is also the "coconut mango blue" which is essentially the same thing but with a fancy blue color lol (and there's no option to get a larger size for this). I've also tried the Yingde Cheese Milk (light ice, minimal sugar, and brown sugar boba) -- also very good -- they pulled off having a strong tea flavor without diluting the milk or creaminess (it wasn't sweet so I could go higher on the sugar level here depending on my mood). Boba balls were fresh and well-made. I also tried the king jasmine guava -- I got it with minimal sugar but would go up on the sugar level next time (or would get brown sugar boba). Was pretty good; it's a flavored milk tea, not a fruit tea. Not as good as the coconut mango boom of course, but still worth trying once -- I'd order it again! They provide the calorie counts for their drinks on the menu which is nice. Just so know: At peak hours (especially weekend nights), this place has a very LONG line. Expect to wait half an hour sometimes. Sometimes, they may run out of a drink or a topping so be wary of that as well. There is an order ahead (you can download the HeyTea app and order from there) which is convenient. However, there is (as of March 2026) no delivery option (no Uber Eats, no DoorDash, etc.). The place is small and there are a couple of chairs and only a thin table along the wall so it's not a "cafe" where you can sit down and spend time with friends or do work/reading at (there are some other cafes nearby though that generally open until 5pm). This is a boba place I would go out of my way for. They haven't given bonuses or anything for customers who write reviews so my 5/5 here is real. read more

Small storefront in Beverly Hills. I've always noticed a line and on this day - i timed it right as only 2 people were in front of me. I ordered the Cloud Matcha Latte. The staff in the back were hustling to work on all the orders. My drink took about 10 minutes to get out. There's very little room inside to wait for your drink so i stood outside and then moved in when i thought it would be closer to being ready. The drink was delicious and loved how fresh it was! By the time I left - the line was about 20 deep down the block - i can see why people wait for this! My new favorite boba place in west la! I only order the bobo milk tea, since that's my go to drink, but I love! No places to sit inside, and parking is street or structure. I usually order ahead of time on their app which is great because it tells you wait time and you can earn rewards. read more

Arrived a little over an hour before opening on the second day of the grand opening location of HEYTEA at Beverly Hills and was third and fourth in line, managed to get the BOGO deal. Initially I didn't know if I could get different drinks and ended up getting two of the same Jasmine Teas, but realized we could and got a 2nd order of Blooming Grapefruit and the Tiramisu Chocolate. There's a row of three single seats on the right side, other than that there were no seats or tables to sit and enjoy the drinks. Just a little bit of waiting space inside the shop. It was honestly quite slow for the drinks, it took nearly 20 minutes before the drinks were ready and for some reason we got our drinks first before the first group of two folks got their 4 drink order. Additionally, depending on the cashier, since there was a step 1 to be done to get the magnet, the original cashier checks but the second cashier did not and would just give the magnet to folks without confirming that step 1 was done. Just from a fairness perspective, would be more fair to make sure everyone does the same steps. Although, the line was orderly and organized and people were respectful, there were a few line cutters, and even the initial setup was strange. We queued on the right side of the store and instead of telling us to move to the left side and then roping off the line, they put up a ropes and then expected everyone to move underneath the rope - that was awkward to say the least. Drinks wise all of them were solid and tasted great, definitely a pleasant surprise there, so maybe the time it took to make it was worth it. The only thing too was they didn't have tapioca drinks ready, or it would've been an hour wait and that just seemed unfortunate to not have the full menu available, so we weren't able to get one of our top drink options. Overall, I think it's a nice addition to the area, but a bit far for me to venture out on the daily, I'll stick to the closer locations. Hopefully, the locals or tourists will get to enjoy this HEYTEA location in Beverly Hills! read more
