Sharetea is my go to spot whenever I'm craving boba. There are several boba options in Westwood, however, Sharetea is my absolute favorite! They have several self-serve screens to place your order. From my experience, service is really fast. Even if the estimated wait time says it'll be a long time, they tend to work really fast to get your order ready. There are seating options indoor and outdoor if you're interested in staying to enjoy your drink. Otherwise, you can simply pick up your order and enjoy elsewhere. I just got charged for my tea and the lady in the front with the glasses denied giving me my drink even though I showed her that my credit card was charged and I put my order through. She denied making my drink and then she continued to battle me and let me know that the transaction didn't go through when I'm clearly showing her evidence and telling her that I wasted 15 minutes of my life here and she could care less.... What a horrible disgusting place it's so unsanitary. I'm glad I didn't get my drink to get sick and throw up. Good luck you're gonna be closed in six months. read more

Came by here with the kids after touring around UCLA, which was a nice close distance from the campus. Upon arriving, they have a few screens to order from or you can also order at the register. The drinks are pretty consistent in flavor with other Sharetea establishments. Drinks were good, staff was nice and service was quick. This Sharetea was also well taken care of with it being pretty clean. You can either sit on the inside with a few tables but there is also tables in the front at the patio area. One of my favorite boba spots. There are so many out there but I love this one. They have a great selection of flavors and not on an overwhelming scale (like Boba Time). Sharetea is a chain that I often enjoy visiting if I'm craving boba (and it's around), and this location is no different. I hopped in for the Golden Retriever (less ice, 30% sweet), and I have to admit that after drinking it, the variety of toppings was more than enough sugar. Next time, I'll definitely have to get it 0% next time. Driving here? Thankfully, it's across from the Broxton Parking Structure (free parking before 5:00pm weekdays). If you're lucky, there's free parking on the street sometimes, too. Wait time? A little longer than expected. Despite going a few minutes after opening, the drink took about 15 minutes even though there was only one order in front. The Ube flavor wasn't really strong, but very light and refreshing. The boba and jelly were nice and chewy. You can adjust the sweetness to your liking. I tried 30%, but will try 50% next time. They participated in the grand opening of the Broxton Plaza, a pedestrian friendly street near UCLA, right in the middle of the Village. They were generous to give out 100 milk teas at the event. We were lucky to be among the first 50 people in line. They were ready at noon and passed them out. Drinks were already made! Parking garage available nearby for 2 hours free. When I visited, the elevators were not working. If you have anyone in your party handicapped, park on the first floor is best! read more

My boss took our team out to Sharetea to celebrate the end of his time on the team. His supervisor had previously gotten a bunch of pearl black milk teas for our entire team, so this was going to be my second time having it since I moved to this area. I used to go to a different Sharetea all the time in undergrad, but it was really mid compared to all of the boba options available near my college. Either way, this was going to become a nostalgic place because my boss was an amazing mentor to me and I was sad he's leaving. There are some seats inside and it looked like a cute place to sit and chat, but we went back to work. I recall the pearl black milk tea was pretty standard. I have a sweet tooth but 30% was actually good enough sweetness wise. Boba was chewy :) The wintermelon tea was refreshing and has a naturally sweet taste, so reduced sweetness worked well for this drink too. I have heard the Thai tea is done pretty well here! Overall, this is one of those places that does the job. It doesn't stand out, but it has almost never disappointed me these past ten years. Have been to this place multiple times and I quite like the range of options available. They let you adjust the sweetness levels, although even 0% sweet is a little too sweet for me. I wish they had no-sweet options but I remember a server telling me that the syrups themselves have sugar in them. Service is quick, ambience is nice (usually filled with college students). Slightly on the more expensive side. Their winter melon tea and lime mojito are my usual go-to drinks. Vegan options available. Many types of jelly/boba toppings available (the aiyu jelly is a must-try!) We walked around for a bit and decided to get a Strawberry Matcha from this establishment. Just by the look of it, it seemed to be a very tasty, sweet, and refreshing beverage. Alas, we were wrong. After I received my order, I took a sip. My expectations for it were high, but that sip quickly changed my mind. The matcha was bitter and had an almost burnt taste to it. We decided to shake our drinks to see if that taste would get any better, but it only got worse. The strawberries only added to the terror. Doesn't disappoint for when I'm around the area and wanting boba. The ordering process is really efficient especially for large orders such as a whole hospital unit. They've got this down well. Quick efficient and does its job of fulfilling the boba cravings.
