Located in Westfield Century City mall. Another tea shop that's worth the try and definitely a great pace for a refreshing pick me up while you do some (holiday) shopping. I got the Peach Bellini with less sugar, made with peach black tea and lychee and mango and added honey boba. Service was quick on a Tuesday. Ambiance, small space, well lit lighting, no seating (because it's a mall there's seating everywhere).I like my drinks not too sweet and it came out so good. I'm a big fan of the fruits in this, literally feel tropical. Love the texture and chewiness from the boba. Spent like almost $9 which is crazy to me still haha. I would come back and try other drinks on the menu!

Stopped by with my friend as she had recommended this place to me. We arrived on a Saturday early evening, and there was no line. The shop was very small and could only fit a few people comfortably. I ordered the Thai Tea with Salt Cream. I've never had the cream with it before, so I was excited to try it. The drink tasted good. It was on the sweeter side, which I do prefer. Later on, I noticed the drink wasn't sealed properly and had spilled a little and stained some of my items :( Overall, I would recommend but not go out of my way to go to this specific shop. I would come back if I wanted a drink and was in the area. Parking: Paid parking structure for the mall

I only visit the Westfield Century City for a few reasons and Redstraw is among my top 3 reasons. My recommendations if you don't like sweet drinks! Get your drinks with less sugar :) My #1! Grapefruit Punch, special blend jade tea mixed with fresh grapefruit juice. Service is great! They work so hard to get your drinks just right. Store is big enough for pick up only but there is a bench right outside that sits 2-3 people.

This place has a minimalistic aesthetic and the employee was friendly. Drinks were quick because I saw the green juice (cucumber juice), tea was all brewed and ready. Employee poured it from a big jug. I also saw some syrups in the back but my drink didn't seem to need that. Thankfully! I got a tea with jasmine flower and cucumber juice. It was refreshing but I paid for aloe as a topping. It didn't come with it! It's a decent option but wouldn't be my first choice.

Every time I go to the century city mall I always go to red straw. I'm a fruit tea boba girl and they always brew their tea fresh and it's very aromatic. Not too sweet (best compliment) and service is pretty quick. While there's no seating in the store itself, there are many seating options throughout the mall. This specific day that I went I also got a bread from 85 degrees bakery. Perfect snack combo!

Surprisingly the line on a Sunday afternoon is not that long. I ordered their Mango Mojito with Aloe and it's refreshing, though the quantity of the aloe is a little few to what I normally get.

I didnt have high hopes for this place but after shopping at Popmart I noticed a line formed and so I wanted to give it a try. There were two baristas working and they seemed pretty swamped but still super friendly and answered all my questions as a first timer. I asked for the strongest milk tea and was recommended the Redstraw milk tea which is just a black tea with milk and boba. I got this at quarter sweet and asked for easy milk which they complied with. Its not the best boba place Ive ever had but I think its still good in its own way given the location as well. The boba wasnt too bad! It was a little bit on the harder side but I kind of enjoyed it that way at that time so it was okay! Not too sweet at all and you could definitely taste the tea. Overall they seem really accommodating and nothing is overly sugary so I would come here again to try other things if I am in the area!

Redstraw Tea Bar has a nice, modern interior that's clean and welcoming--a great spot to hang out or grab a drink. The service, however, was just okay. The staff got the job done, but nothing about the interaction stood out as particularly helpful or engaging. I ordered a honey oolong milk tea with boba and went with the default sweetness level of 75%. When I asked for more details about how much honey that actually meant, the only response I got was "normal is 75%," which wasn't very helpful. If they'd provided specifics--like an ounce measurement--I could have adjusted the sweetness better. My drink ended up being a bit too sweet for my taste, but overall, the flavor was good. I might come back to try a different drink, but I'm more likely to explore what other options the mall has to offer first. Redstraw is solid, but it didn't really wow me.

My friend and I looked at the Redstraw menu prior to dining at Din Tai Fung, and decided we'd be stopping in for a tea afterwards. Disclaimer, I'm not someone that drinks tea often, but I thought the Rose Garden was delicious! It was a perfect combination of rose and lychee, and just the right amount of sweetness. My friend ordered the Rose Buds hot and added boba. It was her first time drinking a hot beverage with boba, but she thought it was great! I would absolutely come back!

one of my fav tea shops in the area! I haven't been in years, but remembered this place and had to go back! my go-to is the rose garden drink and it tastes just as I remember it - a flavorful but subtle rosy flavor with a hint of lychee in jasmine green tea. I feel like the tea here is always high quality which makes it stand out to me the shop is small and doesnt have seating inside - only a counter to order from. there is a large bench outside of the storefront but since it's in a mall, I usually walk around w my drink service was quick and efficient, which is nice! I'm surprised this place isn't as crowded/popular, but I'm glad I don't have to wait!

I stumbled upon redstraw during my visit at Century City mall last Sunday afternoon (7/28). The ambiance is very bougie because of the drink prices and white color scheme. Their drink selections sounded promising but their milk teas and strawberry matcha latte without dairy alternatives is a dealbreaker. It's 2024, and many other boba shops and cafes are offering dairy alternatives (soy or almond milk) on their lattes and milk teas. I wanted to try Redstraw's Strawberry Matcha latte but it is only offered in Whole Milk. Please be considerate of any customers who are lactose intolerant and add dairy alternatives to your milk teas and matchas. As a non-dairy alternative, I ordered redstraw's Japanese Sakura Cherry with honey boba. I noticed that the staff seeps their teas naturally for each order. The staff on duty told me it would take at least 5-7 minutes before the order was ready. I waited for less than 5 minutes and it was ready. In terms of presentation, the drink lacked any distinction of sakura cherries on the drink itself. While the green tea tasted naturally, unfortunately I was not fond of the cherry flavor. My Sakura Cherry drink tasted like cough syrup and I do not taste any authentic sakura flavor. I'm sorry Redstraw, this is the last straw of me trying your boba place. What a disaster and disappointment. Everyone else is better off trying Wushiland or another authentic boba place in Sawtelle or Westwood.

Service was bad and drink was horrible. It wasn't worth 12 bucks. The employees didn't know what they were doing .

Service is bad. Drinks were horrible. Not worth 12 bucks. Don't go here. Not worth it!! I would rather go somewhere else with my money.

I'm always happy here bc it's not only delicious, but everything is such an experience and a total California VIBE which I love. I mean, look at the video of the exquisite sweets. I'm already planning to come back for Thanksgiving pies which I have purchased in years past bc everything they make is so gorgeus AND consistently delicious. I love that the staff is always so nice especially Valeria who is so well versed on the menu and so sweet. I also appreciate the thoughtful touches -- being able to get as much water as you want, enjoying the pretty views, people watching, and having food that is presented so beautifully you almost don't want to eat it! This is one of those places you know will always be good, and it's perfect to bring out-of-town guests for a quick, fun bite. I usually come here for breakfast and love getting a brunch and boba drinks with my twins. It's a special spot. This time I was just grabbing a croissant, and they even gave it to me at a discount bc it was later in the day. That was so kind and completely unnecessary and unexpected, and I really appreciated it. Urth Caffé is easily one of my top 10 favorite places. I just love coming here. The pictures are from my visit in May and just yesterday , August 1! Also, if you miss the in person experience on Beverly, don't worry you can have more of this beautiful café on the way out of Los Angeles at the LAX airport. The toilets were appalling!!!! The men's room was filthy, and not a single paper towel to dry your hands. The women's was even worse with xxxxxx on the toilet seat itself, no seat covers YUK - had we seen this before ordering there is no way that we would have stayed and eaten. ??. How could staff clean their hands before making food. You deserve to be reported to the authorities. Disgusting I will have problems going back for sure. Unforgivable." They called me back the next day and assured me that it would be reported and addressed. This was then confirmed by email the same day: "Dear Brian, Thank you for reaching out to Urth Caffé with your concerns. We appreciate our loyal guests such as your self. We have forwarded your comments to our management team at Urth Beverly Hills and they will be looking into this matter further. We want to assure you that we are dedicated and committed to the absolute highest standards and best practices of cleanliness, health and safety for our guests. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. The Urth Caffé Team" Sounds reassuring right?? BUT Today almost 3 months later I have heard not a further word. The public needs to know. I would not go back ever again without first going in and inspected both ladies and gents toilets before ordering anything. If non sanitary then how can their staff wash their hands??? Yuk

They seated us right away for our reservation. My mom and I love high tea. We try a new place about twice a year. This place is stunning. The food is okay. I appreciated that my mom and I each had our own stand since most places do two of everything and place on one stand. The tea was good. It is a bit pricey - $135 per person for afternoon tea, an additional $65 per person for unlimited champagne. My mom & I both had the afternoon tea, she treated herself with the unlimited champagne and a $24 caviar bite which was so small, I would consider it half a bite. It was still worth a cute picture and my mom said it was delicious. The tip was included in our bill and was a little over $400. The servers are attentive and checked up on us often. I will say there is limited seating and although it is comfortable, it is a bit awkward. I would come back here for the aesthetics and look however as for food and traditional high tea, most likely not.
