This actually tasted like a dessert drink to me, but it was still refreshing. It was not overly sweet, but I'd probably request even less sweetener next time. The jasmine silk boba has a fun, softer than Jello kind of texture. The staff seem friendly, though there isn't much interaction with them if you use their kiosk to place your order. The space is clean and has some benches for you to sit and wait for your order, but I don't recall seeing any tables so it's definitely a to-go kinda spot. I hadn't really registered this place at all until a friend mentioned it as one of her favorite places to get boba in the area. Another unique feature of this tea shop is their delicious Shiso-silk boba. It's almost like a "mochi boba" - instead of the traditional round pearl tapioca starch balls, these mochi boba are cube-shaped jelly like, but yet chewy & squishy like a mochi. As someone who has actually been to Taiwan and tried the famous Xing Fu Tang boba, I can confidently say that Odd One Out's boba is truly amazing. I rarely drink it because I'm on a diet, but I stopped by with my kids to try their award-winning boba, and we were so satisfied! Even though everyone was already full, the boba tea was so delicious that I kept raving about it until the very last drop.
