Disappointed in this place. In no particular order: Chicken Parmesan. There is only one way to make chicken parm and that is thin pounded. Cheese on top melted and browned. Unfortunately this chicken parm was thick and had three strips of slightly melted cheese. The pasta on the side was good. For $24 you need to make a good chicken parm. Salad and pizza nice portions. For $12 the salad should be big. Pizza dough was good. Caesar was very good. Service just ok. Maitre D greeted us and that was it no one came by the table to be friendly, make sure we were happy. This is a new restaurant you have one chance to make a relationship Everyone is a first timer and should get that extra special treatment. As a new restaurant you have to want to make sure everyone is happy otherwise if it's bad they tell 12 people, if it's good they tell 2 people. I had the chicken scarpariello. It was not good at all it had the ingredients but the sausage was strange the chicken did not seem of high quality. This dish left a lot to be desired. For $26 ala carte not worth it. The restaurant was dark that I couldn't really see the food. For all the expense they must have gone through in he build out the lighting was very dark. There in the mail I think someone made it even darker that might've been the problem. On the decor, this is for me could have bee a nice modern Italian restaurant instead it's like red velvet and yellow type of Sinatra thing going on. Deserts looked great only had the tiramisu which was great. For the market I would've like to see a slightly lower priced menu. Their pizzas are great. To charge this much you really have to a great classic Italian restaurant and if you can make a chicken parm pounded I don't know what to say. At these prices I most likely won't try again. We came here this past Saturday 8/14 at 5:30 for Happy Hour and stayed until 10:00! That's how good it was..We eat here from time to time but this past Saturday was a blast! The food was incredible and our server was awesome. I am so sorry that I forgot his name but he is a thin guy from Delray. The Happy Hour specials are amazing but even at full price, they are well worth it. The lady and the gentleman at the bar are so friendly and they make the best drinks. We enjoy sitting on your comfortable couches and catching up with friends and family. We live in Boynton and it is so hard to find a nice place to eat with great food and service. Whenever our drinks were empty, a server would walk past us and ask if we needed anything. Nice job all around and please share with our server and bartenders. Baciami - Enjoying happy hour at Baciami - Italian Near Me - Boynton Beach, Florida

The ambiance is outstanding. Beautiful dining and bar area. Service was very good and accommodating. The octopus appetizer was under cooked and tasted raw and the texture was slimy. The Caesar salad was good (actually the best thing we ate there) but was lacking in both parmesan shavings of which there were only a few pieces and 3 croutons on a large salad! The main courses, clams and linguine was watery and lacked flavor. The veal saltimbocca, was a poor example of a delicious dish. It was simply a piece of veal with a small slice of prosciutto on top with a slice of melted mozzarella over top, there was pasta, which wasn't drained well, which diluted the accompanying demi sauce. This meal lacked both flavor and presentation...a big disappointment. These meals did not meet the high prices - 2 people shared 1 appetizer, shared a salad, 2 meals and 1 bottle of water...no alcoholic drinks $134.50. At those prices you expect a GOOD meal! We will not be going back there...too many nice restaurants in the area. read more

Three of us had happy hour at the bar on June 11, we had the worse service for Happy Hour. The girl working at the bar was to busy to bring us our order, asked for water, another beer and we had to wait quite a while. They were not even busy. Dined at the new Baciami last night for their Halloween event. A gorgeous space with a lavish decor that gives off a sophisticated atmosphere. Definitely a step up from your ordinary brick oven pizza joint. Due to my recent diet plan, I tried to keep it light with an appetizer and a salad. My first choice was the frutti di mare appetizer. It was some of the freshest fish I've had in Boynton Beach to date, and gave me a great nostalgic feeling like it was Christmas Eve and I was indulging in our Italian seven fish dinner. Served on a bed of arugula, the portion was quite hefty. My second dish, the arugula salad, served with cherry tomatoes and pine nuts. Kissed with just the right amount of truffle oil, this simple sounding dish packed an umami punch that had me shoveling it in my mouth by the fork full. It was a great experience all together. The bar didn't offer Tito's so my bartender recommended I try their alternative, Chopin (gluten free). It was clean, and refreshing. Garnished with a sliced cucumber. Brigette behind the bar was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and friendly. Would have loved to jump into the menu a little further (maybe on a cheat day). Great execution by Chef Anthony and the team, we visited during the soft open and everything ran smooth , food was elegantly prepared. Decor and atmosphere is very NY Italian complete with elegant lighting and Frank Sinatra music. Happy Hour takes place from 4-7pm around a huge square red brick bar topped off with scenic sky mural as well as separate living room quality sitting and $7.77 pricing of apps works! There is a large private room with a huge table we can assume is utilized for special occasions. We dined on Scallops and the Veal Sinatra bother prepared and presented perfectly. Parking is a pleasure compared to Delray scene. If your looking for an upscale Italian meal or just what looks like really good pizza this place can serve you well. Went on Monday night so perhaps this is why: started with waiter ignoring us. Ordered the everything pizza, came out cold. Strange given it was brought out quickly. Was it pre cooked/frozen? The table asked for it to be reheated, returned quickly with it...cold. Very unusual to serve a fresh pizza cold. Other appetizer was also cold. Chicken dish delicious and served hot. The 2 stars is simply for the food alone. Walking in to the restaurant we were immediately impressed and had high expectations as the atmosphere, decor and music are wonderful. We will certainly go back and sit at the bar for drinks and try their Happy Hour appetizer specials. Service was also very good, no complaints. I had the Chicken Parm which was mediocre at best. The chicken was very thick and a bit overcooked, mozzarella on top was not even warm and the sauce quite bland. I typically never salt my Italian meals, but found it necessary for this one. My husband had the Chicken Baciami and also found his meal to be bland and not very tasty. We will give them another try, but not for dinner. read more

This place is a gem. They have an amazing pizza oven with homemade sausage. The double cut pork chop was outstanding. The drinks were top notch. We also loved the servers: Matt & Stormy. We intended to try a few doors down (Sweetwater) that had a waiting list of over an hour so out of necessity we went to Baciami. Unlike Sweetwater which was bustling Baciami was relatively quiet. Upon getting beyond the hostess stand we were impressed by the size, attractiveness, look and design of the restaurant. The bar is also impressive and large and considering that the area is undergoing gentrification one must question if the initial investment and what is likely a high rent expense will pay off for ownership. But regardless no reader cares about the business side - it's time to discuss the service and food. We were seated and waited and waited. The elongated wait to be acknowledged forced me to tell my wife that if no one comes by within a couple more minutes - we will leave. Eventually a secondary sever approached us and told us she would be assisting the main server. After the normal cursory initial server questions to us, we asked a few. She was not knowledgeable about Italian food nor had tasted anything on the menu. During the course of our meal it turned out our main server was not any better. We started with a Caesar salad which was just ok. I then had a dish which on paper had all the right elements to make me salivate - short rib, rigatoni and broccoli rabe. The short rib part of the dish was gigantic. However the texture was not the softness that one would typically expect of short rib. Unlike the huge portion of short rib it was marred by a shortage of rigatoni and broccoli rabe mixed in. Also the gravy was minimal (which is ok) but the flavor of it was understated . So all in all I would rate the dish a 3 out of 5. My wife had chicken scarpariello and they nicely accommodated her request of just using white meat. The dish was per her comment - just ok - which is somewhat unusual for a dish that normally has a lot of flavor. I like my wine and like to make sure that while I am eating there is always wine to accommodate. And at this restaurant getting wine served on a timely basis was a little challenging. First off to get our servers attention was challenge number one. To get the wine to our table was challenge number two. After finishing glass number two and sitting with an empty wine glass - I was fine however the bartender came over to our table with a glass of wine and proceeded to place it on the table. She told us that it was just sitting at the bar for a long period of time so she decided to bring it over. I told her we did not order another glass of wine but I would take it - but she proceeded to walk away! I got her attention again and told her to please leave it - and she did but talk about strange! All in all I would say our experience was sub-par and hopefully they can spend some time training and upgrading their staff, Having servers use lines like "I hear its good" or "We serve a lot of that" doesn't provide a warm and fuzzy to diners that are looking for advice. Servers should also be trained to acknowledge a new table within a few minutes of being seated including providing the basics such as water and bread within a few minutes of being seated. read more

Went with 6 girlfriends for the all you can eat stone crabs on Wednesday night. The evening was a total disaster from the start. 2 of the girls went to the bar to order their drinks, yet when I went to order a glass of wine, the girl behind the bar was extremely nasty and rude. Told me to go back to my table and order from the waiter - cause she said the bar was only for Happy Hour. Sat back down and I was furious. I asked for bread 3 times and finally after about 30 min he finally dropped some off at the table. 4 of us ordered the stone crabs - below low average on quality - obviously had been pre-frozen and very wet. Waiter barely cleared off the table before asking if anyone wanted dessert. The music was overly loud and lousy! I asked when we first sat down for individual checks per person - was told they can't do that. Bill arrives and my girlfriend had some questions about it - so the waiter took it back and then a while later comes back with 7 separate bills. They have some nerve charging 3.50% for something called 'Operations fee'. Plus they added on 20% tip per bill. At that point I was so furious that I got up and went to speak to the manager. I usually am a very generous tipper (over 20%) because I know servers earn a low hourly wage and are dependent on their tips. I told the manager that I wanted to leave a tip that I felt the waiter deserved. The Managers attitude was nasty, horrible, totally rude. His unprofessional response was that's what we charge and if you don't like it then don't ever come back! Trust me- I will NEVER EVER step foot in Baciami Restaurant again!! A nice place to go for drinks and bar bites. Great if you're not a conversationalist cause you can't hear the person sitting next to you. Why they play the piped in music so loud is beyond me. Had to shout to friends sitting 6 feet away. Thought it would improve when the piano player sat down but his accompanying music was just as loud. i'm a 59 year old heart patient and have been suffering with ulcerative colitis for a year. i do not drink or do drugs. i arrived on time for my reservation with my girlfriend and was told we would have to wait about 15 minutes. i walked into the dining room and saw it was half empty. i saw the host and told him that we were leaving and that he was horrible at his job, he responded "there's the door" and got in my face. when i raised my voice, not my hands, my voice i was jumped from behind by 5 or 6 employees, i was pushed through the wood front door so hard it came off the hinges. i was then thrown to the concrete in the street. my girlfriend is typing this as i am badly injured on my back icing that as well as my shoulder. i would not recommend this restaurant! read more

We just hosted our Mother's 80th Surprise Birthday in Baciami's restaurant. Our guests raved about the food, service and the atmosphere. Everyone wanted to know how we found this hidden gem in Boynton Beach! The restaurant's banquet manager, Stormy was so helpful in every detail. The waiter's were also very accommodating. The restaurant truly exceeded our expectations. The noise level was a bit much, the music was a bit to loud in the Bar area and made it difficult to carry on a conversation we asked it to be turn down but they refused. Food looked good however $7 is the average price for a house wine at upscale restaurants when it is not happy hour so it is not a deal for wine lovers to pay almost $8 for a glass of wine at happy hour. Ambiance is great and the staff is very nice with some proper etiquette. The restaurant is beautiful and parking is free. read more
