I honestly can't think of another restaurant that captures the essence of Northern Italian cuisine at this level. Every single dish we ordered was exceptional. My advice: go family-style so you can share and experience as much of the menu as possible. The tortellini was outstanding, the pasta with the brandy cream sauce was unforgettable, and the short rib was absolutely phenomenal. Not a single dish missed, and there wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again. To top it all off, the chef came over to our table at the end of the meal to say hello--a thoughtful touch that made an already incredible experience even more memorable. I would put this restaurant up against anything I've had in Italy, and without question, it's the best Italian restaurant in the Boston area. The most surprising part? It's in Woburn, not the North End. 10/10. An unforgettable dining experience

Don't believe the hype…read more The good: Service was very attentive and nice. The bad: everything we ordered needed salt (and there's no shaker on the table). Pasta arrived lukewarm. Short rib with risotto also not hot, and I suspect was microwaved after a service snafu. Social media will lead you to believe that all of the pasta is homemade, but notably only one option - the fettuccini - was marked as homemade on the menu.

It's a mushroom risotto that is perfectly prepared-thick enough to eat with a fork and not too sticky, topped with fresh salmon and a light cream sauce. This is a good neighborhood spot for intimate gatherings or a business meeting where good food is a must. Highly recommended!

My husband is not a big fan of sweets, but after I came home with one of the fruit covered specialty pastries, he now asks me to bring one home whenever I go. My family and I have also tried some of the savory options for lunch recently. My husband had the Modena on a croissant and he said it was the best breakfast sandwich he's ever had. His only regret was not ordering two! I had the Milano. It was perfect. The chicken was light and crispy, and the veggies were fresh. The crisp bread contained just the right amount of mayo. My mom had the Minestrone, which contained a very generous amount of various vegetables and greens. She enjoyed her soup very much. My dad had the bolognese. The sauce was rich and the meat, tender. The pasta itself was, of course, excellent. Lastly, I've been several times for the coffee. The Marocchino is definitely my guilty pleasure. I've also enjoyed the brewed coffee! Looking forward to future visits!

Especially the home made biscuits. These were amazing. Hot, flaky, very much home made with a maple butter that is sinful. Entrees were mushroom tortellini and eggplant parm.
